Hi everyone.I'm wanting to use FS2004 to teach some important flight topics to my audience. We have dual 20" 1600x1200 LCD monitors. The intention is to use one for the "out the window" view, and the second for instruments. How do I get FS to run fullscreen on both, and allow dragging of windows from one to the other? I'm able to do this in windowed mode, but my understanding is that it is slower. I have a GeForce 6800 Ultra OC with dual DVI outputs.If there is no way of running fullscreen on both with this, how can I make FS always come up with screens automatically placed on a specific monitor each time?Thanks,Enrique==========================Frequency change appro…

Like many of you Im enjoying scuttling around in this great new freeware Orion. Hats off to the authors for this MPA!May I tap fellow Avsimmers knowledge on a small issue: the throttle levers are not showing in 2D-panel mode :(All guage files are in the correct location . I just unzipped the plane, pointed the installer to a temp file and then moved the plane into FS9Aircraft. Everything else is fine...its just the throttle not appearing.Could someone please advice? I like to fly Eric Dantes APM Lionceau (Lion Cub) - nice model and it feels nice to fly. But I notice that , in the VC, the default gauges (such as the ASI) are far "less clear" than the same gauges in the default Cessna - and, if you zoom in, then they become much blurrier - something that does not happen to the default.The pixel sizes in the panel.cfg seem to be the same as the default a/c.Any ideas?Thanks Barry

What a great aircraft..handles very well, a wee bit heavy landing, but its a fun AC to fly....I am having one problem tho, cannot get the auto pilot to come on....all buttons are there..but will not respond ??..probably some stupid thing I am not doing ??..any help would be appreciated.ThanksJim

What a beautiful plane that P3-C is. I just took a quick spin in it out of NHZ (New Bruswick NAS), and, man, that must be a cool job. Flying out over the Maine Coastline south of Augusta. This is my first ever post - so excuse me if I get it wrong.My AMD 2600, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro System used to breeze along quite happily in FS2004 at 30+ fps.This has out of the blue dropped to a max of 15 fps and when taking off etc to 2 fps.I have dropped all settings to minimum levels, re-installed, closed down anti-virus and firewall software (all of which were present when things were ok) but no change.Any ideas guys?

I have upgraded my memory from 512M to 1 Gb RAM. From what I have heard 512M is to little for FS9 (also my experience) and 1 Gb is more than enough (not certain). If so is there any need to close down background task? If I understand things correctly these task don't load the CPU or does it very little by just being loaded into memory. In addition to common background task like for example antivirusprogram I also might be running Active Sky and sometimes I have a Excel spreadsheet active at the same time I run FS (with a lot of addon scenery and planes.If 1 Gb isn't more than enough how much is?

I am trying to locate a checklist for the Dash 8-200. I found many great checklist over at http://www.dauntless-soft.com but none for the model 200 in the Dash 8 series. If anyone knows of a resourse for a D/L version of the checklist it would be greatly appreciated.I hope everyone has a good week.Mark.

I install scenery addons and sometimes flight sim randomly restarts when I select menue items (Select airport or even mouse clicking on an instrument panel). In any case when I slect something, the audible click from the mouse or from pressing enter after a selection, repeatedly clicks about 4 times and the computer restarts. After removing a few scenery items from the scenery cfg, it stops restarting.My question is: Does anyone else,, is anyone else experiencing this? Is/are there limits to the scenery.cfg file (The maximum number of lines (Entries) it can have? Mine has about 60 entries.Hope someone can help with this?!?!

Dear Simmers and Pilots,I am interested to acquire one of the above the C172 from Flight 1 OR the upcoming C182RG from Carenado.Which do you think would be a better value?I have several flight one products and I believe they are the best available in the FS world. I have nothing from Carenado. Do you expect that the -182RG they are doing will be better than the f1 C172??Please Gents, your comments.

CanUk is about to release 3 Ontario sceneries, CYQK (Kenora), CYXZ (Wawa) and CYSP. Soon to be released are CYFC (Fredericton, NB) and CYYG (Charlottetown PEI). These sceneries were started before the release of Ultimate Terrain and are therefore not fully compatible with UT. Each scenery has its own Ground2K4 Landclass projects to correct the default Microsoft terrain including repairing/placing rivers and lakes. The sceneries are made taking into consideration Joel's Canadian Roads.CYSJ (Saint John, NB) is in in the photographing stage and could be the first project build around and fully compatible with UT.I would like to know how many people have or intend to get UT a…

Greetngs, After a year or so of no problems I had to reinstall due to planes jumping everywhere. After Complete re-install and a week ot two of no issues, I have another issue. After selecting any plane and going into flight planner, fs9 locks up. I will be able to select both departure and arrival click on IFR and VOR etc.. but as soon as i click get route it locks up. If i am lucky and get the route, the map on the route page is not correct and fs9 locks up.I have removed all 3rd party mesh and airports etc, renamed fs9.cfg but no helpPlease any help or directionPaxBrad

Hello fellow pilots and mates,This is something like a survey now. We are creating a new FS show series under SkyFilm and would like to ask some comments from all of you. The show itself is going to be a bit similar to the FSTV which was made by guys from UK some time ago, but not so long in length and I think I will mostly have to be on the screen alone as its in fact quite hard to find people who are interested in being in such programme :) In my opinion, there should be live addon reviews (payware and some good freeware too) where the watchers could see how the addons really behave and what features they have. I was happily cruising along in this awesome new P3 when my son, who is working on his PPL...comes in and says...cool...but the props are rotating in the wrong direction.. (smart azz). Is this true? If so, guess I will report the bug.Eric

For sometime now I have been getting problems loading variousUK and other airports in FS9. The loading stops at anything between 9% and 13% in the loading terrain sector. Fed-up with this I decided to remove all scenery entries (724) and add them again to the scenery.cfg 10 at a time. Will give youa couple of examples of what I found.Problem with loading UK airports mainly occured with all airportsexcluding those in Northern Ireland. After employing the abovemethod I found that the culprit was an addon scenery for Canberra(Australia) but couldn't find anything inside those folders that I couldrelate to the UK. Dear Aviators...It happens to the best...Whatever default flight I save, FS goes back to the default C172 with engine running in Seattle. I would like to have it start up cold and dark at my home airport.Aslo I get a message about FSSound.dll, to load or not to load???How to get rid of that and make FS2004 remember my default saved flight?
