Asking this here because simflyer's support forum is dead as a doorknob. Bought their weatherradar and am trying to add this new gauge into Eaglesoft's Citation X. Simflyer's instructions are as follows:SETUP PROCEDURE:1.) YOU MUST PLACE THE WINDOW "TITLE TAGS" BELOW IN YOUR PANEL.CFG FILE FOR THE AIRCRAFT YOU WISH TO ADD THIS UNIT TO. Does anyone know where I can download a chart/diagram of the UK Airways other than the 1:500000 charts?

I'm trying to un-install FS9 and then re-install to get a nice fresh copy, but when i went to the add/remove prgrammes, i got an error message (can't remoember what it was exactly), and then the entry disappeared from the list. I've also tried to un-install from the 1st CD (set-up screen), but that ends up hanging, so I have to CTRL + ALT + DELETE to end the prgramme. Now I can't remove it or run it :-grr I've also removed all my add-ons via the add/remove function, and that went ok.Can someone please help me out

I could`nt find anything in the readme or tips on the FSACOF official site that told me how the addons would be affected by this update or if they would be affected at all?!?Will it be? (thinking about scenery etc. but also aircrafts)and i also read in the fixed issue list that they had enhanced the autogen scenery around JFK or something like that, thing is that i have simflyers KJFK scenery and was wondering if anyone could tell me if this update will screw my beloved scenery up or harm it in any way?or do anything to any addon shareware/payware/spyware/freeware stuff i have in there!thanks for helping out! :-wave yngve

Nothing too complicated, dont worry... I got a Super Cub from FlightSim.com... and it's alright. Not bad considering its the only one available except for Aerosoft's payware one. However, I'm not too pleased with how it flies... So I was wondering... does the real Scout fly anything like the Super Cub? I was thinking about copying over some of the Scout's flight model parameters to make the Cub fly like the Scout. It does NOT have to be exact at all... I dont really care about the Cub flying exactly true to life... as long as I am comfortable with the way it flies. What do you think?

Currently, two of the jet type aircraft that I have in my inventory are causing problems that affect the performance of the aircraft.The aircraft in question are:Gulfstream V D/L from pmstone.comFalcon 700 D/L from avsim.comHere is what's happening. All controls are operating normally and the aircraft operates as it should. About halfway through the flight, while the aircraft is on auto-pilot, the aircraft attempts to go vertical resulting in the audio and visual stall alarm. I turn off the auto pilot only to find that I have to hold the joystick in the forward position to keep the aircraft from going vertical. Is it true that it's a GOOD idea to occasionally delete the FS9 config file? I've heard that for the minimal pain of re-assigning your joystick buttons, and re-doing your settings, that this is like a "cleansing" of the program.I've heard the same for human beings. It's good to donate BLOOD every so many weeks, and let your body replenish it. Scientists are now saying that this prevents many diseases and contributes to good heart health. (sorry for the "stretch" here)If it's good for humans to delete and replenish, it might be good for FS9 maintenance.What do you all think?

I have FS2004 with the 9.1 patch. Installed FS global 2005, Ultimate Traffic and USA roads without problems. Then I installed A340 professional and I didn't know it would install an older FSUIPC.dll version (I didn't back up the original FSUIPC version, live and learn). So now FS2004 won't start at all. So I uninstalled A340, dragged the FSUIPC.dll file out of the module folder and after seting up the cfg file I can fly FS2004 just fine without the FSUIPC.dll file. How is that possible? What does the FSUIPC file do? Microsoft says if I want to have the original FSUIPC file back I have to uninstall and reinstall FS2004. Can I do that without uninstall and intall the add-on…

For some reason I cannot perform a takeoff when using the Extra 300. After I apply full throttle the plane starts pulling a hard left, I lose all control, it spins out, and winds up crashing into the ground. I have all settings at full realism. This only seems to happen with with the Extra 300. Thank you.

Hi, can someone briefly tell me how to paint in Photoshop CS? I totally forgot how to save a texture file in order for FS to see it. If I modify a texture file and save it and load fs the textures do not appear in fS. I did some painting in FS2000 days but lost my touch. Can anyone help me?Thanks,Bill

I have FSGlobal 2005 and MyWorld Textures installed. FS9.1 and I have encountered some issues in Norway. I'm currently getting water that seems to climb the shoreline of the mountains along the coasts in triangle patterns. As I fly closer at low altitude, the scenery will draw a little more and the triangles will shrink down in size but still be present. Even closer they continue this gradual descent to the water level. They don't actually merge with the coast until I'm right on top of them. I'm flying north of the 60th parallel so maybe thats part of the problem. I'm happy otherwise with FSGlobal so far. Anybody else seeing this anomaly and might there be a fix, explanat…

Hi,It took me a while to figure out the best title for this subject. I am curious about the following. After having used FScene in FS2000 & FS2002, I recently bought the FScene Summer World Pack. As I live in the Netherlands, I am close to be in summer, so I will see the textures soon enough.However, what will happen if I fly to South Africa? Overthere it is Winter. How is this supported in FSscene? I believe that FS9 will still think it is spring. So normally you will get the spring textures in South Africa for example? Or will you see the Winter textures?Not that it would change much down there :)I was thinking to buy the spring textures as next package.Thanks in ad…

Hiis it possible to delete any of the planes that you do not use in FS9 without any adverse reactions/problems.of course, I realise that the relevant Flights would have to be deleted that used those planes as well, and I know that we should leave the gauges in place as they are sometimes generic,but, would it be OK to delete the planes.thanks

Folks... Sorry to bother you again, but I had a problem a while ago where an add-on instrument panel appeared blank in fullscreen after I installed the FS9.1 patch. The problem wasn't related to drivers as far as I know, but someone told me to uninstall the patch, delete a line from some kind of config file and then reinstall the patch. Someone else now has a similar problem, but I can't help him because I can't remember which cfg file was edited.Thanks for any clues.Cheers.Ian.
