Hi!I wonder if anyone knows where I can find the enclosed FS9 groundtexture?I looked everywhere in "texture" in all my addon texture, but came up with nothing.It should be "concrete" or "apron" or something, or "ground"...?I want to change it; I think it's very ugly.Grateful for help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSweden

I broke down and got the ATR...I am kinda worried about it now... Especially seeing that manual ugh...Put it this way I have a lexmark z52 printer and my black ink is wiped out.. Guess it was getting low anyways.. (LOL)...Actually from what I have picked up on so far the ATR is great the only problem I have is...If anyone could help me please.. I am trying to set my navigation system up and fly the autopilot. I have no problem setting up Vspeed and Altitude. Oh and I added the GPS to the ATR..Oh and I have tried making a flight plan and importing it but when I hit the NAV on the autopilot I get nothing..Lets say I want to fly from KICT to KDAL.What would I do to correctly…

I have installed the newest version of Gatekeeper. When I clicked on the "Gatekeeper.exe" file nothing happened. I was then told - in the FSBuild forum - to create a short-cut for GateKeeper and then open the properties of that short-cut and in the "Target" box add a space and 1005 after the filename. I've done that allthough in my windows version the box is called "Destination" and after the change I made contain this: "C:ProgrammerGateKeeperGateKeeper.exe 1005"The result is that I get the Gatekeeper program-window for about half a second just beeing able to catch a glimpse of a few buttons (Set parking/Open/Quit/?). But the window does not stay opened and I can't reach …

Hi All,Just updated my FSD Cheyenne, and for some reason the config program thinks that I have the JL2 gauges installed, and the box to remove them is greyed out, thus I have no ADI or HSI.Could someone send me the "base" panel.cfg file, without any RXP or addon avionics?CheersDan.

Is there some way to get rid of this green monstrosity, either permanently or, second best, temporarily as it just keeps popping up and is very, very irritating and I am trying hard not to smash the keys down as I type this.Thank you CALMLY.Andy.

Hi guys,Its been a while since I cranked up this superb aircraft and today I decided that it was time to get back into that gorgeous VC and have a flight. However, I haven't flown it since installing an update (several months ago now!), and I find that the model now loads with the rear stairs open. Wing fold, tail hook, shift+E+2 don't seem to close it, so I was wondering if any other owners of this fine addon could inform me of what key command closes the #### thing!Thanks in advance!Regards,Al.

Hi,Noticed Flight1 has released a product called 'Flight Environment' and the screenshots of both the different kind of clouds but also the new water and especially in tropic locations were amazing and I also read the product works great with other 3'rd party add-on programs like Active Sky.I'm a very happy user of AS 2004.5 and was considering buying the Flight Environment product but then noticed the upcoming Hifi product called ASV and the two products seem to be quite similar - any comments on this and is there someone that has already tried Flight1's Flight Environment and perhaps together with AS 2004.5 and can comment on how good they work together and if it's wort…

I have a few questions... Could anyone give me details of the PMDG 1900C as far as flight characteristics and does it show icing on the wing or any alerts of wing icing etc?I have read a little about the ATR 72-500... I am interested in both and sure I will purchase both. I am trying to add the touchdown marks to KCPK (addidas stripes).The Default KCPK has Aiming points only. The runway has been upgraded (extended) in recent years and has touch down marks as well as a series of aiming points.I used Lee Swordy's AFCAD Two to add the touchdown marks to both ends of the runway, save the file in the scenery as always, but the marks do not appear. I changed the tower view to eye level in the GA parking, because there is no tower, and that change 'took', i.e. when I open Flight Sim at KCPK, the tower view is changed. I have just downloaded Armando Di Francesco's new AI sep programme. I recently took a flight on a AA 737NG to Altanta at night and was amazed how wonderful all the city lights looked on approach. What would be a nice solution to improve the night ground lighting of FS9 so it looks closer to reality. Not trying to be fuzzy about FS9 by the way. I used to love it more than my girlfriend. Hi!When I download real weather in FS9, I often get some layers with fog and haze, depending on the visibility. That`s all right. During climb the transition from fog to no fog is smooth and to some extent real. I then get a white-colored layer with haze. But when descending from a non fog layer to fog again, the fog suddenly disappears. Then, after some seconds, the fog comes back smoothly. The transition is unreal and annoying. I also experience fog up to altitudes to 26000 ft. But also here the fog can disappear and change to a blue sky with som haze, wich looks more realistic. I've been flying on VATSIM intermittently since last summer. There was a long hiatus this fall, but since SB3 came out a few weeks ago I've been on almost every night. Most of the traffic there is generated by VAs of one kind or another. But there seems to be a growing number of GA pilots too. The airport there (KSMO) is just over five miles from KLAX, and it's staffed for a couple of hours most nights by someone named Don Fiveash. Hey All,I been thinking about flying to Hawaii as part of a larger adventure. I'm wondering what is the minimum aircraft and routing to get there from the mainland US. So far I'm thinking the best route is to fly to Alaska Korea Japan and island hop to Hawaii. If you do this the longest leg you have is about 1025 nm - most legs are around 600 to 700 nm. So then you need an aircraft with at least 1025 nm (plus a bit) as it's maximum range. A South America based route appears to have about 1500 nm as it's longest leg. I'm looking to do this with a small (like 4 seater or so) piston powered GA plane. Have I got this routing right for minimizing the longest leg? And what smal…

For the people who have both these aircraft please can you comment as to which you like best; i know the Dreamfleet A36 is brand new and has all the bells and whistles but is it frame rate friendly or a resource hog? Carenado's F33 was released for FS2002 so will probably get better performance but probably not be as up to date in the virtual cockpit as regards textures. what do you all think?

My friend and I have flown side by side on Flight Sim for about a year now. We fly and control next to eachother on the Vatsim server and have been in love with the release of SB3! We were both wondering if there is any kind off add on or possible way so that both of us can fly the same plane together...like him left seat, me right...? We have always flown 2 seperate planes and wondered if it was possible that we could share a connection to one plane somehow. I know that if you have 2 moniters you can set it up to share...can you share with 2 computers? If theres no add on, can you use the windows xp remote desktop connection thing?
