I just want to know WHY the 330/340 suck the living fps out of my computer. thats all

I know I have seen the answer posted somewhere, but after several searches I can't find it.My problem is that I occassionally get squares of terrain in FS2002 that are made up of bright colors. This is obviously a bug. Can anyone let me know what the fix is?This didn't happen prior to my increasing the sliders, but I'm not really sure what made the difference.Thanks!

Hi all.I am puzzled that the ILS frequency for Runway 27 at EHAM is not active in my system despite being correctly included in the AFCAD2. The frequency is 111.50 but I cannot get it to be recognised even in the default cessna. I have just reinstalled FS2004 to try to solve the problem but it is still there.Can someone tell me what is wrong please? I know that there seem to be issues with EHAM in FS2004 but I always thought if an ILS is correctly installed it will become active and recognised.ThanksJohn

Is there a way to always have FS9 open in full screen? Many times after I create or select a flight the sim window opens in a small rectangle and I have to maximize it to get it in full screen.

Hi allI have recently been having problems with FS2004 whereby the program closes to the desktop as if it was being minimized? As you can imagine it is quite annoying. There doesn't seem to be a pattern but it can and does happen randomly and can continue throughout the flight.Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks

Hi allI have two problems that i hope someone can sort out.I'm running FS9 v9.11: every time i choose a different weather from the default "fair weather" fs crashes with the error "weather.dll" and a load of numbers, which Einstein would have trouble with. 2: how do i un-install Project AI and all the AI aircraft i have installed as i would like to try Ultimate Traffic which most people seem to recommend, as i don't have much of a clue about installing AI, flights ect.mac

In reading the home page of this site I saw that MegaScenery has announced their newest addition to their line, MegaCity Dallas/Forth Worth. I followed the link to see screen shots but there was nothing on the page about Dallas/Forth Worth.? Is everyone having this result or is it just me?Dewey

Hi All,I have just downloaded this new La Palma scenery by CanarySim that is in the new files for today.I have installed it, but the "configurator" program hangs my system up for some reason.I have manually installed the scenery into FS, and it looks absoloutly amazing, real top quality stuff, except I have a large watery bar on approach.So my questions are two-fold.1) Does the "configurator" program hang anyone elses PC2) Does anyone else have this watery bar?, it could be to do with the fact that I have the Simwings scenery, and there is a tick box to select in the "configuratoe" for Simwings compatibilty, but as I said above, it hangs my system ;)CheersDan.

Hey guys,i have a question...is there a download (free or payware)which can offer different kinds of ATC voices...as in that you can hear a different voice when told 'cleared for take off' (etc etc...) than the default FS ones (think there are 8, 4 male 4 female but i still dont find them very realistic).hope someone can help!cheersNick

If you like military aircrafts, the new F104 from Cloud9 is a real jewel.Excellent flight dynamics, fantastic external textures (so beautiful and detailed!!), tons of different models and liveries, very sharp and functionnal 2D and 3D panels and the "magic touch" from Cloud9, all the eye-candies that I personnaly love like fully moving pilot, parachute with break effect...I didn't notice any problems with fps....the only problem I have is to land this monster but with a little bit of practice and after breaking a hundred of machines I will do it...Fantastic product, a warm thanks to the designersDavid in Jerusalem More info:http://www.fscloud9.com:-cool

im looking for a downloadable freeware ground crew package because i am bored at siting at the gate with nothing happening im using fs2004 (fs9) i have looked in the "library" but can only find one for fs2002 thanks for any help

Has anyone else had this problem?Last night I decided to add the reality XP garmin 530 guage using the gns utility that game with that guage to my DF A36.However, after loading the aircraft, the RealityXP drop stack only displayed the GNS530 guage. All the other default guages were no longer on the drop stack.So I removed the GNS530 from the panel using it's config tool again and then the drop stack no longer appeared at all in the aircraft.So I completely uninstalled the DF A36 and re-installed again.But now the drop stack icon appears, but there are no guages in it at all!So I am not sure where to go from here. I can open the other guages like the weather radar and GNS4…

Can anyone give a few tips on flying the Baron? Seems like it is so sensitive that I can never get it trimmed nor can I even say that is possible for me to do anything to resemble normal flight. The real plane can't be that hard to fly! I've turned down all the control sensitivety settings but it doesn't make any change. I can take off and get to an altitude but can not get it trimmed to be stable. It seems more stable with gear and flaps down and power set for approach than for cruise.Thanks for any tips.Lesm

THANK YOU ALL! Great advice!Just expanding the issue:Assume that I'm flying the final leg to RWY 34R, which has no ILS frequency. To do this, I turn on BACKCOURSE button with A/P ON and NAV1 tuned to ILS freq of RWY 16L. Altitude is 3,000ft AGL. I intercept both localizer and glide slope but when i am one half mile from the airport the BACKCOURSE turns off and i loss some altitude and the plane speeds up with nose up. This makes me crazy after a two hour smooth flight and I really don't know what to do. The same happens even when i can intercept the LOC and GS on ILS freq-provided runway (i.e., direct APPROACH without BACKCOURSE). I LOSS ALTITUDE, that is the problem.May …

My aircraft clock is always off by two hours from my computer clock, and I always have to go in and reset the aircraft clock. I have reset the aircraft clock and then saved the flight as my default flight but this has not helped. Is their some way to cure this?Chuck

Hi Guys,I think I know the answer to this, but is there any way to know the landing RWY at your destination airport (using real weather) prior to taking off. The only way I can imagine is to go to the destination airport, find out what they are currenly landing at, and then switching to your departure airport and start the flight. This helps in programming the FMC, and finding out if MS ATC has you planned for a non-real life landing rwy (very frustrating upon approach - mountain in the way).Thanks in advance,John

Hi, sorry if this is a trivial question: comparing the real satellite views of the earth (they're easy to find on the web nowadays) with the top view available in FS9, it seems to me that FS textures are absolutely "fake" textures. Now, I'm wondering why don't they use the real satellite images for ground textures? They would add great realism, and I don't think it would be more difficult to use them, is there maybe an issue of copyright costs? Sorry again for the trivial question...Marco
