THe people who make Mega Scenery recommended that the files be placed on a second hard drive to speed up scenery loading. I got a second HD and the result is amazing. There are no more tiles that come up slowly. All Megascenery areas are in full view as I scan from virtual cockpit. Is there any way this could be applied to the default scenery setup in FS9? That is, is there a way to get the default scenery transferred to a second hard drive to speed up loading?Thanks,Bruce

I have been trying to contact the above re their version of the Avro Vulcan but all 3 of the contact email addresses have `bounced` and as purchase of their aircraft is via Pay-Pal I would like to ensure they are still "about" before placing an order. Hello. I have installed this excellent aircraft, and I am using the basic panel included with the aircraft. I cannot find a NAV/GPS switch, to tie the autopilot to the GPS flightplan.

Hello.I just fired up my computer a few moments ago and AVG antivirus intercepted a a virus listed as Trojan horse Downloader.Agent.XS. :(I moved it to my virus vault and the path is listed as:E:Flight Simulator 9Flight One SoftwareTextoMatic_Setup.exeDoes this mean this file is a trojan horse or has been infected by a trojan horse?Has anyone else using AVG had this intercept happen?I just updated my virus definition files for AVG earlier today.Just curious.Scott :-eek

I've just started my flying training (for real, in the real world) and it is all done on the Cessna 152 and later perhaps on the Tecnam 2002JF as well. Can anyone recommend me any good models for these aircrafts for MSFS2004 so I can do some quick revision at home? Obviously for my purpose technical accuracy is preferred over the visual aspect.

had to drop a note about this DC-10 and a panel i got for it. haven't flown one of these old aircraft before but did some reserch and decided to download one, an SGA freeware. got an excellent DC-10 panel and DC-10 sounds that just blow me away! i actually feel like i'm in this jet. handles VERY well, slow on takeoff compared to other big jets but that makes it easier to keep up with. extremely smooth flying jet. i will have to do more test flights but as it is it could be an all time favorite and i don't mean giving the old girl credit so much for being a classic but for the way she flies. funny how different the old and new jets are but this one well, i like the way it …

Hello, I'm currently considering getting Justflights Traffic 2005, I just have a few questions that I hope any who own the program could answer...Could anyone who has both this and Ultimate Traffic comment on how the two relate, specifically the aircraft models and ease of use? Do you get better framerates with this or UT?Does anyone know specifically what Canadian based airlines there are? Would I see helicopter and GA traffic in Canada? Hi FolksI have recently re-installed FS 2004. On start up, I get a message......."! aircraft initiation failed Beechcraft Bonanza."I performed a custom full install, instead of express install. I wonder if that could be the cause.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards:-)

hey there!i just had to reinstall windows on my computer and so i also had to install flightsimulator once again (i could cry :( ). anyway, i have the same graphic settings as before but now anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work in fs! all other games are working well but fs9 definitely has a problem. i turned aa on in this "ati-settings" stuff that came along with the catalyst drivers for my radeon 9800pro but in fs it just doesn't work. i heard that one shouldn't turn the aa on IN fs as it's pretty heavy on frames, but how do i get it to work then?! any suggestions?

Good day all,Can somebody tell me if it is possible to change the ground handling of the Team FS KBT P-3 Orion so it doesn't float so much. When turning it corners like it is on ice and you have to centre the rudder pedals long before you are where you want to be or else you end up sliding way past the corner.Thanks in advance,Mike

Hi,I had to new-install Fs200pro to a different directory. Reason: my original installation gave me "no-textures" problems. The screen shot is Ranger Creek.Ok: so I went through the installation process selecting full install(I selected everything it would allow to install). after a long while Fs2002 said installation complete. Just flew into MMMX (Mexico city) using lds 767 from KMIA (Miami)about 1100 miles, landed the aircraft on 23L, at about 25kts all of a sudden a air canada jet just comes out of nowhere, straight across the runway and slams right into the side of me bringing my flight with fs passengers to an abrupt end. I was using UT witht he correct afcad for the airport. As you can imagine this kind of put a big downer on things!Paul.

Hi everybody!For a while I've been lookin for a way to save the real weather downloaded from the internet in order to re-use the global weather settings at a different time. Like this, it would be possible to create a library of different real life weather "situations".Is there any tool (preferably freeware) for achieving that? Or is there an even easier solution (by just copying some files to a different directory or so)?I'm aware that there are some tools even more powerful capable of not only donwloading real time weather, but also of realistically simulating "typical" weather situations. Of course that sounds great and I would prefer that, but I think they're a little…
