i'm really furious now... such a poor programm...it ruined my whole flight. how is it possible that this program makes what it wants??? it suddenly changed the keys in flgiht, so that functions where disabled... and the best: you can't reset the key settings! what's that???? now i have to reinstall it...

Need help every so often on landing i get a strange thing happen something takes over at the runway freshhold around 200 feet or so and starts triming the plane any plane and i cant find what is doing it i mostly fly heavys it happens on auto land as well.in flights i use FDC FSnav and ASV its like the demon of FS you were having a good flight now lets crash your plane for youcheers

Hi all,I am having a problem with the sound on the P-3 Orion, becoming a very lound crackling when switching views. The sound problem was reduced with I updated my fssound.dll file to a newer version. My question is who makes this dll and where can I find the most up to date version?Any help is appreciated.Mike

Hi everyone-Been searching around a bit, but can't seem to find a good C310 aircraft and panel. I know that dreamfleet has an excellent 310L, but the panel to too dated for our purpose. Is there a good freeware aircraft with a more modern panel? Can I add a different panel to the dreamfleet model?Thanks-Mike

MS, You guys have probably already thought of this but I thought I'd throw it out just in case you haven't. I fly a Lear 31 for a living, I just got home from a trip to Chicago (MDW). As you already know when you fly into busier enviroments the controllers become rapid fire (If they're busy). When you get away from busy places they slow down. Would it be possible to program FS to change the controllers pace based on the type of airspace your in? ex. Class A, B, C etc. Or maybe you could put a slider for the user to control the speed of the controllers speech based on the users skill level. Just a thought.B. Bjorkman

I know there are many here who do longer distance flights in the sim and who sit there for hour apon hour flying in a straight line over miles and miles of water.For me thats a mindless occupation as is letting the aircraft fly on autopilot and coming back to the sim every hour or so to check all is still in order.I know you can go into options and speed up the rate by 2x or 4x etc but this hardly makes the flight seamless or natural feeling.I am surprised there isnt a utility that allows you to manage the flight before you go as this would suit people like me who are only interested in the departure and arrival phases plus a few other bits and hence avoid longer flights.…

My FS9 installation has grown much larger than I anticipated to the point where, even though FS9 is on its own disk partition, I am rapidly running out of free space on that partition. I have already moved infrequently used planes to a different partition (I copy them back into the FS9Aircraft folder if I do want to use them) and have also moved most of third-party sceneries to another partition. What I'm wondering is if it is possible to move the entire Aircraft folder to another partition and then point FS9 to that folder?

Can someone please help me to fix this problem.Whenever I call up any weather I start to get a flying tip that tells me my altimeter is set incorrectly and to press B which I do but it just keeps coming up every 30 seconds.I have de-selected the flying tips in the optionssettings but it still comes up.Is there a way to be rid of the wretched thing.Many thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this.regardsRichard

On Bill's air strip in Minn. I have a radio tower in the middle of the runway. I am not sure from where it originates but speculate that it might be included with UTUSA.The installation of the air strip was included with the Apache download and was installed by an execution file. As far as I know (Looking at the FS9 map or FSNAV) the strip has no name or identifier. My assumption is that it is included in a major scenery file somewhere. I see no unique addon folder that I can identify as that airport. I have tried to insert an exclusion for this area in my Addon, Namc, Name, Namw, World, and UTUSA Scenery folders, but the tower remains (Implementing ExcBuilderV2).Anyone h…

I have seen cases in which FS9 ATC brings me in at a very high alitude, making it imposible for me to desend down to the runway. For example, they had me at 15,000 feet, and I was very close to KJFK. There was no way I could make it down to the runway given the short distance.Most times, FS9 ATC works OK, but once in a while this happens. I wonder if I did something wrong, such as not slow down enought, but I do not think this was the case. Have you had this happen to you? Is there something I might be doing to cause this situation? Notice I was not even below 10,000 feet so my speed was at 260 at 15,000. ATC need to get me down further out, but failed to do so.Tha…
