Hi allI am trying to find (DanAir) Textures or the complete aircraft for a BAe 146-200/300 or a Avro RJ-100, ps: are these two aircraft the same.i have been trying to find the textures everywhere but keep going round in circles. I've heard that you can play flight simulator online but i have no idea of how to go about doing this.Can someone help me please?thank you very much!

I am currently in the process of reinstalling FS 9 on my new rig. Should I enable antialiasing and anisotropic filtering via my graphics cards (I'm running two Gforce 9800GTX cards), or should I leave this "application controlled"?thanks for the assistance.ricardo

Is it just me, or is there no available ATIS frequency at Geneva (LSGG)? The frequency is listed in the frequency list for the airport, but there is none there. Even manually tuning to the ATIS channel gives nothing. Anyone know why this is? I'm using up to date FS9.1 and editvoicepack.Aaron

Suddenly FS9 didn't work anymore.It starts up okay when when I set a flight up and it has to load scenery, it crashes.I've taken everything out down to barebones and it still does it.I reinstalled. Still the same problem.Here's the weird thing. The thing that will get it to load okay is to change the weather theme. Then it loads okay. Until next time. Then it crashes again and you have to change the weather to get it to load okay again.I have some downloaded weather themes and Flight Environment. They worked fine before. I've reloaed them but still the same problem.Anyone has any ideas?Thanks.

Hi. I'm using a 2 year old Toshiba Laptop. At first i thuoght my graphics card was the problem, but i used flight sim on an even older puter, so now i think it's overheating. What's a relitively cheap (under like $5) way to fix the overheating?

I know this has been a topic of interest, but I still can't figure out what is happening. Take a look at the .jpg attached, and note that MEM USAGE and VM (Virtual Memory SIZE) show almost identical amounts, and they are in continuous flux. What is interesting is that the amount of DISK WRITE I/O stays the same throughout the flight, and is pretty low. Now, my VM size set in Advanced Performance settings in Windows is at 3,000mb, or 3x my installed RAM. So this seems to say the VM Size is being dynamically set to essentially match the amount of physical ram used by FS9, but that it really IS NOT using any VM to swap to. Just bought Ultimate Terrain, and am awaiting the release of BEV. Have FS Genesis USA Landclass, and after a weekend of tweaking video card, FS9 config, and defragging, I'm still getting sloooooooow texture re-draws. Have a Dell 2.9 Pentium 4, 1024 Ram, 6800 NVidia 256 card, and I'm not pleased with the re-draws. Any suggestions, or should I take my message to "their" forum. I'm always pleased with AVSIM members responses, though, and I usually find my solutions here. Look forward to your advice.

I'd like to know what type of route builders all you heavy iron and GA drivers are using to plan your flights other then the default planner. I'm looking for something that would allow me to build a plan that would let me setup waypoints at the airports I'd be landing on. Example: I fly out of KIAH to KAUS to KDFW to KGLS and finally back to KIAH, this would be like a typical work day for hauling cargo or passengers.I would be landing at all the airports mentioned(and after offloading passsengers/cargo)taking off again without having to reload a new plan but continue until the final waypoint to land.Is this possible in FS2004? If so please tell me all the payware planners…

Hey eveyone, I got a two part question for you real pilots out there. I am flying the smaller planes in FS9 and I noticed on one of my flights over the ocean I was flying into some low clouds, i was flying about 6,000, and I got alot of chop and I noticed it was a storm, so was wondering on small planes the proper way to handle storm clouds? Do you fly above them or do you try to fly through depending on the strength of your plane or storm or do you try to fly around the storm? The second part is the same question but for the larger jets like passenger jets?thanks for the helpPaul

I reciently Read an article about "Flying the Gorge" from AOPA's magazine. This is some great flying with the right weather. Its a really good read as well. The Default scenery is ok but could use some enhancment.The Gorge, is part of the Columbia River Gorge and starts or stops at Portland-Troutdale through Dalles airports in Oragon.(KTTD - KDLS)Has Anyone flown this rout? and does anyone know if there is any good scenery for this area?.....Thanks........Jason

Hi GuysI have FS9, does anyone have any problems with stuttering after they've been flying a while? I have quite a top end system and i'm fine for about an hour or more, but after that I experience a gradual slowdown until the sim is unflyable and just freezes! I've patched to 9.1, got the latest vid drivers and no antivirus running at the same time, any ideas?Horgy

After an IFR flight with ATC I taxi to the ramp and shut down. However, it is NOT the assigned ramp that ATC gave. I taxied somewhere else. None the less, I save my flight and look forward to the next day.In the morning, I load my saved flight from the night before, set up a new IFR flight plan, fire up the plane, proceed to contact Clearance Delivery for the new destination and lo and behold, ATC still demands me to taxi to where ever it was they wanted me to go the night before.My question is, how do I get rid of the previous taxi instruction so I can carry on with my new plans?ThanksDarryl

after installing free add-on scenery for RJAA, sim crashes during take-off roll and got msg says crash-object collision.can someone please point me where new afcad file should be located and how to install new scenery step by step?I often see planes start out on the grass or not properly aligned with runways.thanks in advance.

Hello,I had to reformat my hard drive unexpectedly last night and I lost the URL to the login page for the MS FS9 data collection program, from the survey some months back. I need to re-download the .MSI file so that I can continue to log my flights. I have my login information, my e-mail address and my ID number, but I just need the URL to the login page. Old news now I guess, but anyone who wants 4 season/multi continent coverage with BEV will need deeper pockets than mine. $12 ($16 Australian dollars) per "volume" seems cheap until you do the maths - would come to over $200 and counting. This hobby of ours is just getting out of hand when it comes to the costs of addons. I know i have spent hundreds of dollars already (hope my wife doesn't read this) not sure I can justify much more no matter how good the product is. Bruceb

I've recently been getting a stuttering problem with my FS, everything fine until about 90mins - 2 hrs into flight, when everything slowly slows down until it's unusable. Are you experiencing this? Check if you have FS Passengers installed. I de installed the demo and now everything works fine, just completed a Manchester - Montego Bay for 9 hrs stutter free! It may be the criminal here.
