I have an extremely fast computer, yet the PHNL scenery from Bill kills my frame rates. I get 5 on the ground if I'm lucky, and on approach as well. Horrible stutters too. I am using DBWSims add-ons for the area as well but these don't seem to hurt my frames as muchAny help fixing this issue would be appreciated.

Hello,First, let me start by saying that the information posted about this product here at AVSIM was spot on. People here said that the product is great and I agree. I hope more developers take on this type of add-on - very nice looking aircraft that you don't have to spend hours learning how to fly. It's not that I can't learn how to fly the PMDG ac, I just don't have the time to devote to one aircraft.Anyway, here are the two questions:1. I read that Ed Cox has done a photoreal upgrade for the vc and panel. Is this available anywhere or is it still in the works?2. Has anybody seen an ATA repaint? If not, is anyone will to do one?Thanks.

I saw a utility for loading a flight plan in GE, which is terrific, so I just wondered if there was a way to load a plan in GE and be able to use it as a moving map also?

Hi,I've run into a strange problem that I haven't been able to figure out and have run out of ideas of how to proceed. I'm hoping someone here can provide a few pointers as to where to look next.The problem is that several of my default airports have disappeared. They appear in the airport selection list correctly and can be selected. However, when they are selected, the location is always set to what looks to be a default value of 89*30N 0*00E +100000. There seems to be a pattern to the airports that are missing: all of the airports I have tried in Germany and the UK are missing along with a number of others in Vietnam, Thailand and parts of Africa. No airports app…

I am using FS9 in conjunction with my actual FFA Flight Training to practice approaches and takeoffs at various wind speeds and directions, gust factors, shear altitudes, etc. Does anyone know of an applet that could generate random choices in these areas. Currently I have to go into Settings and manually change all these parameters.If such a mechanism does not exist it would be most useful to me and I expect others if someone much more knowledgable than me in programming would care to tackle such a project.Any replies or feedback would be appreciated.Craig R

HiDoes anyone know if this scenery is compatible with Tropicalsim (Fly to Caribes) airport sceneries. I have read that there are problems with installation and removal so I dont want to risk installation unless it is safe to use with tropicalsim sceneries.Thanks.Chris

Hi all,I've been checking out the Bermuda scenery on the FS-Freeflow site and I have a strange problem with the scenery file.I'm quite keen to get the scenery, but for some reason everytime I download the file I get the message "Unexpected end of archive" when trying to open it. It's almost like I keep receiving the file corrupted.Is anyone else experiencing this?James

hi allevery time i select a different weather from the default one FS9 crashes, this has been happening since i installed fs9 and even when i updated to v9.1the latest on was when i selected "Building Stormes" and just started to load about 5% and it crashed again.the error said something about the weather.dll. would the file on my FS9 Disc's be corrupter as i have tried to install a new one from the disc but can't find it so i did a complete re-install and the same thing happens.is there somewhere can i download this file, the FS9 "weather.dll" i mean.

I have been reading over the last few days a few threads singing the praises of Aerosim Vol 2, I hope it's better than Vol 1 - I should have saved my money and gone for freeware. The word pathetic comes to mind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Panels - If you want to play with the INS on the 747 fine. Otherwise save your money. Being a fan of DG Simulations Vol 2 didn't seem like a good idea and unless it is at least 300% better than Vol 1 forget it, I'll stick with what I have thankyou. Wow INS, OK as long as that is the only reason you have for buying it! Anyone here ever ever seen the default 737-400 radio stack in a 727? A couple of days ago I was playing around with the new Omega 5.8 drivers and I noticed that scenery would load up but many objects such as buildings and trees were missing. I went back to Omega 5.7 which I have been using with no problems ever since it was released but for some reason I still have the same problem with missing objects like trees and buildings. They are not necessarily missing but are definitely extremely sparse as compared to what I remember seeing before. All of my FS9 settings are maxed out. I've already tried deleting my FS9.CFG file but that did not help. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you

Seems awfully quiet!Given that the convention is supposed to be one of the highlights of the flight simmers year, there does not seem to be much emanating from its hallowed halls.Any news to report? Hi,i need some urgent help. i did a second install of FS9 (clean, including the patch) for testing. now my original install (full of sceneries and aircrafts) says "you are not allowed to update (scenery) files, because you do not have administrator rights". be sure i do have ADMINISTRATOR rights, and the new clean install accepts everything.i did restarts, i changed rights up and down, nothing helped.anyone any idea ?thx in advanceSinzow

My new night city textures are now available from the AVSIM library. Without wishing to appear immodest, I think that they are good even though, as I keep emphasising, there is room for improvement. One of their virtues is that they are free and that also means that anyone can modify them if he or she chooses to. Try them, I don't think you will be disappointed.apm

Hi all, Just reinstalled FS9 on a new PC. For some reason, when I tried to install the 9.1 update it froze. When I tried to reinstall 9.1, the installer said that 9.1 was already installed, meanwhile in my FS9 directory I can't find the 9.1 uninstall.exe. Can anyone send me their 9.1uninstall.exe to nicklivans-at-gmail.com so I can try to uninstall/reinstall 9.1?Thanks,Nicklivans
