I own the RFP 747, LDS 767, PMDG 747 and so on.Everytime I want to make a flight I'm wondering which airplane I am going to use and to/from what airport I'm going to fly.A cargo flight in an old 742 would be nice. But should it be long haul or short haul? Then again I change my mind and want to take the LDS 767 for a spin on a short haul.But taking the new PMDG 747 from FAJS to KATL is also a nice challenge!Get my point? It's just so hard to pick a good flight with so many nice add-ons. Do you guys also encounter this problem?

Hi, I have reinstalled FS9 with SP1. I have noticed that with this new SP the textures at a short distance appear blurry, much more than without the patch. Maybe this is normal, but I can't remember ... There is a line in FS9.cfg that makes far textures more crispy.Can someone point me to the right direction?Thanx a lotRino

Lynn@Bill Lyons,and their staff,are offering a whole new concept directed at flying in the Good Ole days. Offered is a download which can alter a basic FS9 into the world of yesteryear of aviation.Per their instructions, both our currant FS9,and the second FS9 ,now dedicated to this can be made available. Ran across this web site for BirdsEye View, http://www.flightsim-bevs.com/. If it delivers on its promised features this could be great. As I understand it, nothing has been released yet and there hasn't been any talk of it around here as I recall, so perhaps beta testers are still under the gag order. I fly low and slow and love the sights out the windows of my Dreamfleet/FSD GA aircraft. Always after a new visual "high". Hope it meshes well with FSGenesis mesh and roads, rivers, etc.

Hello everyone,I wasn't quite sure which forum to post this question in, so I apologize in advance if there is one better suited.I have been searching the 'net for a .csv or .xls file containing the airport information from FS2004. I found one from FS98 that was helpful, but FS2004 has quite a few more airports than FS98 did. Are there any utilities out there that provide audio checklists for various aircraft? Ideally, it would require the user to acknowledge each line item in the checklist and would also provide the ability to add line items and audio files to create custom checklists.

Hello all!I was wondering if there's a program that will allow me to select how I start Fs 2004. Meaning, let's say I want to be flying the 777 near Princess Julianna to practice landings. I wisho to start flight sim with a double click of an icon that will set me up in a 777 of my choice, at a selected spped, flaps down, gear down, etc. and on medium final of TNCM...Are you following me? This program will allow me to set an aircraft, the setting of the airplane when creating the situation file (flap positions, airspeed, gear, gas amount, etc.), select if on short final, long final, holding pattern, etc., at a chosen airport. I have found that when I download real world weather. it really kills my FPS .Anybody else noticed this and is there a fix?Thanks Barry

Yesterday I saw a very intereting posting related to the subject of Add-on Warranties on shareware products. Hello fellow avaitors. This posting was brought about, after seeing and thinking of the responses re:PMDG 747-400.OK, to start...I was flying the 737-700, with the "Southwest" style gages. IE: No PFD or ND.OK, all set let's get the pe-flight done. I go thru my litany of flows and setups I have done many times before. Let's see were to fly? I know, let's do a fairly quick fligt at night, from KSLC-KLAS...that should be fun. All right panel is setup, let's get the route in the FMC. Okay I don't know whats up with Lago's Website. But I can't register at all. Or download Past Service packs. They have 1.20 and 1.42. But not 1.40. And when I install only 1.20 patch the all the panels like overhead,throttles blah blah blah come up and disappear right away. And when I install the 1.42 patch is freezes up and I have to restart the game.
