Wonder if someone could do a quick test for me.One of my beefs with the CS 727 was that the gauge programmers wrote the fuel flow gauges to "lie" and display fuel flow that more or less reflected the correct charted data, since their horrible FDE was nowhere near correct. Of course the problem was that the actual amount of fuel being consumed varied by a large margin from the reported fuel flow, making any fuel planning exercise next to impossible.So, now that the CS C-130 has been out a few days, I wonder if we'll find this new dog is up to CS' old tricks...Wonder if someone wants to run Herve Sors' AFSD utility, or just set the fuel flows to a nice even 1000 lbs per ho…

Okay, I'm getting into this whole fs9 circus again :). I'm buying a new computer and now I need to figure out what some of the essential software are. So here is my (short) list. I'm planning on flying online most of the time so I don't want/need AI traffic:- Activesky.- FSUIPC.- Long haul plane, either the LDS or PMDG.- Some terrain, I don't know which, perhaps freeware?- High quality airports....I can't think of any more right now. What would you recommend, keeping in mind that I would fly long haul aircraft, high up most of the time, and online.Thanks-Mikkel

Amyone have access to scanned/digital C-130 manuals? I would like more information. Maybe I didn't look at the Captain Sim manual correctly, but I would like the engine settings for cruise at altitude and what not. Anyone? how many of you use the shift-enter keys to lower the view when landing, in a commercial aircraft like a 727 or so on up? thanks, william

A couple of months ago I thought I saw an airliner developed by some group that when you were parked - you clicked a couple of buttons and the all the approprate trucks were lined up around your plane to service it. It wasn't dynamic, but looked cool.Does anyone know what group that it is or maybe I just dreamed it.

I have had great success with the AI generation programme called GA Traffic. However, I am trying to populate a short gravel runway airstrip with no success so far. The AFCAD looks OK to me, it has a number of small ramp sites and there is no cost to land at this airstrip (you have to know the Traffic programme to understand this). I have Cubs and Beavers and other bush type a/c available as AI.Any thoughts please?Thanks Barry

If so, how can I tell if it's available ... when I turn the ext pwr switch ... there is no power available. Described in P 56 of the Manual Pt 12. when I go to the CS site and try to DL the liveries, it keeps taking me back to there front page, but when I try the 727,707,104 liveries it take me to avsim files. The only problem with this plane is when I do the the spot view my scenery turn all milky and won't go away tell I go back to the cockpit

I'm very tempted to buy the CS C-130 but on the manual available for free download i don't see any performance manuals. For me it's a requirement to have them to calculate take off and landing speeds.Are there more manuals inclueded with the download?Thanks,Jorge

I know this might be a question that will cause alot of discussion, but I'm just wondering if either one of these modes is better regarding frame rates, etc..I like full screen mode because it seems "fuller", but windowed mode allows me to see pop up windows better (when using SB3 the box doesn't always disappear).Anyway I'm just looking for opinions and what everyones experience is and what they're preferences are.Jeff

Well its been 14 months since I first got FS9 and I've been quite happy just hopping into airliners to fly long & short-haul routes....but these are routes *I* make up.Now all of a sudden things have changed!
