Hi,I just got off the plane so I'm new around here. Please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong forum.I'm building a FS2004 console that will activate only the commands available to one selected plane. For example: when a Boeing will be selected, commands like Fuel Enrich will not be activated. In order to finish designing this, I need to know what commands are available for which plane.Any help in tracking down this information would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!Robert:)

Hi guysI have used the CH FlightSim Yoke for ages without any issues but the throttle lever has suddenly decided not to work on multi-engined a/c and only recognises the single or #1 engine. I have tried hitting 'E' followed by 2,3 or 4 as appropiate but with no luck. Any ideas?

I often fly EHAM-LIRF with different planes (PMDG/LevelD). A lot of times (not always) my sim crashes between MOLUS an VADEM using airway UM 729 an UN 853, so about over Geneva. I encountered this in winter circumstances and in autumn. The sim doesn't always crash at this point. The times I saved my flight and resumed the sim crashed again at the same point. It happend on my former installation. Recently I installed al new, also windows. Still random crashes.Anybody an idea what might go wrong? Or what to do?ThanksHerman (EHGG)

I of course like to have lots of AI aircraft present at busy airports in FS, and I mainly use Project AI's files, which are excellent as well as free. But at the busier airports, a lot of time my framerates drop to a crawl despite having a pretty decent system, and even after setting skies to clear and turning off GA traffic.So my question is: Which AI traffic provides the best overall experience for FS?? AI Aardvark planes probably have the best visual models and they have many LOD's, but if I were to replace my PAI models with aardvark's would my performance decrease in areas of high traffic density? There has been a lot of new sounds added for the 737's family. The PMDG 737NG sounds I think are very good. There are a number of others posted in the AVSIM File Library. However today I tried the new CFM56-7 sounds by Steven Persson, and I must admit they are the MOST OUTSTANDING representation of the actual engine I have ever heard. I know that seems like an overstatement, but they are just awesome from both inside the cockpit and outside. As it says in the title i need help with vegas and the vegas airport. here is my issue. i am getting some of my airports that appear to be on like a plateu or where they are higher in the city than anything else. And also i seem to have found an issue with the klas scenery from simflyers that it like eats the autogen around the airport. 1 st ? is there any freeware like active camera. I can pretty much use the fs9 movement to go threw the c-130, when I get to the doorway into the cargo bay I can't go no further 2nd ? the only thing I don't like is the panel light or maybe I'm not turning them on right they seem a little dim

What is it with the 737 that makes it so fascinating to our group?While its a nice airplane, its got to be the most overdone and tired subject for the freeware and payware crowds by a long shot. PMDG/Ariane/Dreamfleet/50N/Vistaliners/SGA/default all have created 737 flavors. Granted, there are different models and its a popular airframe, but I dont get why the payware folks especially continue to make 737's. Are there no more interesting airplanes?I like the airplane myself a lot, but I wont pay for another one.Why is this plane still being created by developers? Thats what I dont understand. I posted on FSNav forum a while back but didn't get a solution, so I am posting here.After using FSnavigator for literally years, I observe in FS2004 that the utility does not distinguish between a climb speed and a cruise speed. If I insert a climb spd of 300 and a cruise speed of 320, once the a/c is above 10,000', FSNav pushes the speed bug to 320 right away and ignores the climb speed of 300. Happens on every flight with any jet that has a default MSFS autopilot. In older versions of the sim and with earlier versions of FSNav, the climb speed was recognized by FSNav but not any more it seems. By the way, I use fully automatic mode for FSNav and it does everything …

For the past several years while simming, I haven't really played around with GA loadings. In the early days, I quickly realised that if you had an unbalanced load in one of the small a/c (say for example, a pilot only) then the Sim engine seemed to exagerate the effects of the imbalance. So generally , I have flown with 2 people in each a/c.Lately, to try to get a better appreciation of just what can be done with different a/c - ie load including fuel - I have come to understand just how little load some of these small GA can carry - for example the Flight1 C172R can only carry 800 lbs of load. There are 5,666 threads mulling over EXACTLY what has been beaten to death here since FS2000.Your comparisons between PSS and other developers are incompetent and ridiculous.As a matter of fact, had you bothered to look at the PSS webpags, you would have quickly found out that most of their products also come with a range of various freeware liveries.
