Hi allSimple question I hope!I know you can re-size and re-position things like throttle panels, radio panels, EADIs, etc. However, is there a way to have FS9 save these settings when you return to the aircraft on another day?Thanks in advanceMalcolm

Shehryar Ansari has made a new FS2004 scenery, this time it's Orlando Executive (KORL). I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the scenery? Im pretty sure I installed it right, but the scenery only works at night. When I try to load the scenery during the day FS2004 crashes to the desktop. Has anyone else had this problem?PS: I already emailed Shehryar Ansari about my problem, but I want to see if anyone else has this problem.

What do you guys think. Wait for the wilcopub 777 or pss. Wilcopub kinda went sour in the past with the A320 PIC but has has some other nice releases. PSS has had a tough time with criticism on the A330/340 with crummy fps and choppiness. What would you guys think. I am looking for the one that is going to offer more simulated systems. not eye candy which pss has been known for. suggestions?

Hi all,Just started having this problem a short while ago with FSMetar. When it download metars all seems to be working well, no error messages. When it is done the bottom right hand corner says Total Metars: 0 and no weather appears downloaded in FS? The firewall is set up to allow FSMetar to download so there shouldn't be a problem there.Has anybody come across this before or does anybody know of a fix. A friend of mine just tried his and all works well for him.Thanks for any help.

I recently got a new computer. P4 2.8HT, 512 ram, Gforce6600 256mb(nothing special, but being 17 with no job, all i could really get) i was doing som circuits today around KORD with the LD767. I have PAI installed, and all scenery is default. i had traffic set at 80%. pretty much all sliders set to medium, frames locked at 25. the sky was covered with clouds. taxing to the active i got low teens in FPS. in air i got mid teens. and then on APP they plummeted to around 5-7 fps. then on short final i took all AI off and got frames to low teens. then i cleared the skies and frames rocketed to 17-25 FPS. and i was just curious, is this normal? i have 3-D clouds set at 80%, clo…

In order to do an IFR letdown it is necessary to get the destination aerodrome QNH or QFE before starting the procedure. In fs2004, using dynamic RW weather, this information is available through the aerodrome ATIS if it has one. Some a/d's, however, do not have ATIS.I have found a way of getting the wind vector from the met map in fs, but not the pressure.The data must be available for it to appear in ATIS - is there any other way when commencing a let down to get hold of the a/d pressure?

Is anyone using the RWY12 Chopper Pads. Im having a problem with my aircraft falling through to their bellys. What do I need to do to have the aircraft sit on their skids. It's not a total fall through but just to the main fuelsalage of the aircraft.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks Jim

Hi, I downloaded many paints for the 50north 737-300, 400, 500, and the downloaded paints seem to to show for the 400, 500. However only the 300 series paints are not showing up in FS. I have checked everying over and over again. Hello all,I have a bit of an issue I was hoping someone here could help me with.I have a Sidewinder 2(not the FFB model)that is a couple of years old, and the throttle is now not registering all the way open or closed in FS. If I apply full throttle on the joysitck, FS only reads this as 99% throttle, and if I fully close the throttle, FS reads 1% open. I have gone into the windows joystick setup and have calibrated the throttle with a "dead zone" on each end so that the throttle control has a bit of slack on each end. Although this fixes the issue according to the calibration software in XP, it appears to make no difference in FS at all. I have played around with the co…

Hi all, was wondering if there are any 2D side views for the Wilco/Feelthere CRJ as they are not included and the plane is impossible to use with the VC, it is been by far the biggest frame rate troubled aircraft I have in my hangar, but in 2D I get 24-30 frames, so no problems there.Thanks,Jeff

After reading about this addon for the last few months, Ive been eagerly awaiting its release. At first, i wasn't to keen on it, as I like Flight Simulator to be as realistic as possible, but sometimes I get a little bored with it and I thought this will make a nice diversion. Since the Eaglesoft forums are down, I might as well ask this here...there was a tweak to the aircraft.cfg file on the Eaglesoft Citation II/SP to correct the fuel flows back up to realistic values. As it came on the download (at least my version) the fuel flows are far too low. Does anybody know what the adjusted value for the "fuel_flow_scalar" in the aircraft.cfg is? I like to fly online, connecting to FSHost servers-- everybody else seems to be able to do it, except me. I can connect to an online server as long as no one else is connected , but as soon as a few others are connected , the chances of me connecting are remote. Sometimes if there is only 1 other connected, then I too will be able to connect.Something is wrong in the way the computers talk to one another -- I have done everything regarding port forwarding, firewalls, etc - and I am convinced that the problem lies with the Static/Vs Dynamic address situation. My Broadband ISP uses dynamic addresses.Any ideas? or any assistance would be much appreciatedThanks Barry

Hello,A few days ago I bought the Aerosim Classic 2 package and I agree with everybody that the L1011 is a fine aircraft. However I can't seem to activate the Wing views after selecting one in the aircraft folder withwing views. I e-mailed Aerosim support, they said that I am not movingback far enough in the cabin. When I do that, then past the flight deckdoor I am outside the aircraft and see the wings detached way behind the flight deck. What am I doing wrong?? I have Active Camera installed.Any ideas??Helmut

Hi.To be honest, I'm not sure if this really is a problem, but lately I've been noticing that at certain times of the day, I can't see my aircraft. It looks odd when you're on the tarmac at LHR, loads of floodlights, and the aircraft is just black. Anyway - I've flown down to Singapore, it's 8Pm, and look at the attached picture. Surely this can't be right? Now - large parts of the airport are just black, and the AI aircraft, as well as mine are just black.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/130760.jpgI'm sure this didn't happen before. You know that there are two options for lanching flight sim on your desktop. Theres one that says flightsimulator A century of flight. Then there is one that says under troubleshooting, safe mode. I have to use Safe Mode in order for my flight sim to work. So my question is, what is used in the FS9 folder to launch safe mode that is not/ differently used to launch the normal flight simulator. Any help would be aprreciated
