Anyone else having a problem getting to the BEV site?Wilson

Hi, which is the best A320 payware on the market for FS2004? I need the most detailed one in terms of systems, instruments, FMC, etc.. In few word, the most professional one. It should be at a level as much similar to LDS 767 as possible, even if I know that nothing exists at that level.Thank you!James

Hi All, I've been reading all the remarks re: Captain Sim and especially those regarging the C-130. A couple of years ago (yes, it's been that long) it was certainly an aircraft I had on my wish list. After reading all the comments I'm not so sure now. I did own one of there first releases, the L39 Albatross for FS2002 and as I recall it was quite a nice aircraft. So instead of bashing them I'd rather ask them to re think their $50 + price point and ask them to reconsider pricing it so high. Whenever I have System Time chosen in Options, and try to create a flight or go from one airport to another, FS9 loads to about 50% and then just disappears off the screen. No error messages or anything else. What could be causing this? When I have Flight Time chosen, things seem to work normally.

I always disregarded this file because I thought that it's something like a left-over from ancient times when graphics adapters were by far not so powerful.A recent thread in the Active Sky forum now names this file, and someone managed to blur the horizon line by adding tablefog=0 into some section, using a new ATI 850.The contents of the file don't make me wise, so what is it for? Seems to be of some importance, though. What are the entries allowed for the file?And, is it possible to put some lines into fs9.cfg thus overriding the display.cfg settings?What if I delete the file completely?Questions, questions, maybe someone enlightens me...Andreas

Hello allThe lurker (me) has decided to venture out into the light of discussion with the following question.I would like to know if there is any limit to the amount of "scenery" that can be installed. By "scenery", I mean Mesh, Landclass, specific Models and Textures.I have been collecting freeware and payware airports, textures and mesh for quite a while and now I want to populate "my" entire planet with high quality scenery so that on the spur of the moment I can just decide to fly somewhere and know that I will experience the best scenic apearance possible within the limits of FS2004. Ok, I have been trying many things like screen capture software to take videos of my flying. Usually it slows flight simulator down and makes a sort of frame by frame video. Also, it doesn't record the sound. What program could I use to record video and sound?

Not sure which if this belongs here or in hardware, but I'll post here and trust it will be moved if need be.I'm having some new issues that cropped up with a reinstall of XP SP2. Last weekend, I reinstalled Windows XP Pro SP2, updated all drivers to the newest, reinstalled zonealarm, nod32 (virus scanner), fs9 and a few add-ons.I crank the PC up and it works great hour after hour. I loaded up FS9, and it was running smoothly when all of a sudden the PC completely powers off. I reboot, start over, and make it a bit farther when it happens again. Hi all, could anyone please help or advise on the problems I am having as shown on the attached pics. This has only become apparent since upgrading to ASVe and installing Catalyst 5.9 drivers. I also added the Ati shimmer fix but removed that after reading negative posts about it. These pics were take while approaching EGLL rwy 9R on a flight from EGNT, I had no problems during takeoff, climb and cruise but once I had descended into clouds the problems started. The strangest phenomena is the black line coming from the aircraft which appears to be the bearing from the plane to the ILS on Rwy 9R. All help much appreciated.Pete.

I was wondering if there is anything that can be tweaked in FS9.cfg (or elsewhere) that would cause ALL aircraft to startup in cold cockpit mode.Obviously I can save individual situations with the engines off etc. and come back to them, but just need to know if there is a "universal" tweak that can be applied which would affect all my aircraft.Or am I asking too much?David "Opa" Marshall

continuing from my previous post a few days ago i'm unsure about the autopilot nav and approach modes. from what i understand and what i read, if you put the ILS freq. into Nav1 and hit the Nav button, it will follow the localizer. if you click the approach mode button it will do the same thing. question is, which do i want to click, Nav or approach? from what i've read they both seem to do the same thing. or does the approach mode track both the localizer and glideslope and the Nav button only tracks a localizer? thanks, william
