Told with an overly sensationalized tone, nevertheless this could be interesting for aviation interested folks like us.http://www.trutv.com/video/most-daring/lea...?link=truTVshlkWhat could have gone wrong here, why would the plane go into such a spin and why would the pilot be unable to recover from it?Christian

I've had some version of MS flight sim since they first came out with them. I am a real-life commercial/instrument rated single engine pilot with over 1150 hours of flight time. Most of my heavier flying time was back in the 70's when I was earning my various flight ratings. Today I can't fly for medical reasons, but even if I could I wouldn't be able to fly even a C-172 because of cost. Toledo Suburban Airport where I would fly from charges over $165.00 per hour plus Mighigan sales tax of 6.5% to fly a new C-172 Skyhawk. Granted, these planes have the Garmin G1000 glass panels and most other modern goodies but I complained when they rented out lease back C-172's for…

:( I don't friggin believe this CF! Can we just award this to Boeing and get it over with? And of course EADS wants back in, without Northrup-Grumman. http://edition.cnn.com/2010/US/03/19/us.ru...fueling.tanker/

Hey guys, unfortunately the FranceVFR doesn't have an English page but I am trying to find something out.A few months ago, I had purchased the Nice X airport from Aerosoft and unlike the review I read here, I would have to say that it is the worst airport I have ever purchased due to its performance compared to other complex airports I own, as well as still having some issue with slight flickering. Somewhere I had read on the Aerosoft forum that another fellow who was also displeased with the Aerosoft version, said that he had read something on the FranceVFR website saying that they were working on the Nice airport as well. This is where I need help because I cant underst…

While I do not speak Russian or read it for that matter, I think this Racing Simulator would be better as a home set up for FS with Track IR.

It would be nice if someone would do this area in Flight Simulator. FSX would be the best option for photo scenery to really see the scope and size of these very strange and mysterious landmarks. I personally can't imagine an indigenous civilization having the need to make runway style lines in one of the most inhospitable areas of Peru's desert for any reason. On top of that just south of the lines a space man the size of the Empire State Building drawn on the side of a mountain the waving up at the sky as if to say, 'Have A Nice Trip'. It's very interesting to see this in Google Earth and calls to reason how impossible something like this would be for mire mortals with …

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/03/c...k_n_483559.htmlApparently a ATC controler allowed his kid to direct Air Traffic at JFK International. Now the FAA is investigating because it was a hazard to Air Safety. The audio is supplied on the page too.

Hi, I'm hoping to join an aviation academy such as CTC wings or OAA to gain all my type ratings, examinations, licenses etc etc. Both of the following schools need, an interview. I go on VATSIM a lot and i always fly the best payware aircraft what is on the market, so its pretty close to realsim, and because of VATSIM i have a very good knowledge of aviation and ho it works. So i was thinking if i go into the interview should i mention VATSIM? Or would they think i'm a blibbering idiot, and it'll be there joke of the day? What do you think?

I'm not all that handy with the airport editors and I would like to see the airport in Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines more accurately represented. I would like to write Mr. Smith myself and request it, if at all possible. If you know how to contact him, please fill me in.

I was flying into Austin (KAUS) and was given this request:"UAL257 cleared to land 17L sidestep 17R" I was 4 miles out at this time already lined up with 17L and visibility was perfect. I think I blew this one and landed at 17L. Did the controller want me to swing over to 17R?

I've been trying to find a list of all current 737-200 operators. So far I have found Aerosvit and Aerosur, but I can't find any more. The reason I want to know, is that I want to make repaints for the Aerosim 737-200 model, but I mainly want to do repaints of airlines that still operate the 737-200. If anybody can refer me to a list that only shows current 737-200 operators, I'd be most grateful.
