Coming up to Christmas, don't need anything at all but constantly being asked for ideas! So I need help. I thought why not use the chance on splashing out to get FSX running like a soft peach! Don't want to spend big notes but willing to spend anything with 2 didgets, no more!Anyone help me out with finding software or hardware that will get my FSX running fast, any ideas? hop into there plane with no charts and just use the gps to punch in there destination and then just go to it?I'm referring to small GA type of planes, etc.

This is a question to real world pilots, I'm not unfortunately but I have had a lesson some years ago.What I've noticed with flight simming is I can get to a point with certain planes where by I can land it without the need for the instruments, ie. I've got used to how the plane behaves and sounds so this enables me to judge my landings on feel alone. I've even managed this with some bigger planes not just small props.Is this true for real world flying, do you get that used to your planes that you could fly them and land them even if all your instruments were to fail?Just a thought I was having so I decided to ask the people who know.CheersMartin.

Hi guys,have you ever wondered, why Boeing started the Variant Names of the Dreamliner with -8 or .-9? (-3 was cancelled)In history, they usually started with -1xx or -2xx, not with -8xx and so on:707-100717-100727-100737-100,.....747-100757-100 was planned, but only the -200 ever built, so they started with -200767-200 started also with -2 not with -8 or so777-200 started also with -2 not with -8 or so so why is the Dreamliner starting with -8? what if they produce newer Models of the plane in 20 years? do they put MAX behind like with the NG follower? Seems strange to me and no pattern for this in my sight.Any thoughts of that?

Okay, I know that this is not on topic for the forums, but desperately need help with a virus on my moms computer. I asked a quastion on yahoo answers, to no avail, now I will ask it here. I have developed a problem with my MD11 when after doing a perfectly behaved flight (in other words no peceived problems on the flight) will, when rolling out after touchdown, suddenly just go full left rudder and refuse to steer to parking. I have turned the auto pilot off and no matter what I do the rudder stays full left. Shut the engine down and turn of the electrics and the rudder is useable again. Appears to be the auto pilot but what is causing it. Only does it on the MD11 not the 737 800. Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks Rod

I know the state the latest installment of IL2 was in on initial release. That being said, does anyone have anything to say since the last few patches were released (besides the bad taste in your mouth from the mess it was at launch)? I'm wanting to purchase it and it's taking all the self control I have.

Hello,I have just gathered some information that only seven RAAF F-111's remain (from TV news). Others were sent to a rubbish dump. Most of the F-111s' parts (cockpit, anything that could cause a fire,wings) were removed, and then the F-111's were buried under rubbish. However, on the last view of the planes, I saw a faded grey aircraft. Are the planes F-111C's (the aircraft that were the first to arrive and last to be retired) , ex-USAF F-111Gs or both?This is very sad.
