Saw this and clicked through to see who's been good and those that need to work a little harder;http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/best-and-worst-airlines-for-delays/1While I'm not surprised to see Hawaiian Airlines rated so highly, what with a lack of weather related problems, seeing Alaska Airlines up near the top surprises me somewhat. Me thinks they get a fair amount of weather issues, so credit to them.

Hi allSome eight months ago my wife bought a new PC and it came with Windows 7 installed and she has tried hard to learn her way around it (Win 7) but hates it with a vengence lol. Can anyone tell me if it would be okay to wipe her Hard Drive and install her copy of Windows XP?. I am sorry if this post does not belong here but I did not know where else to put it.

Hi everyone, I'm in the market to get a new headset/headphones and was hoping some of you might give me some ideas - looking at about $200 NZD (160USD/115 Euro). Tempted with the Logitech G35, but I have a horrible feeling they won't pick up a line in input - I run RC4 from another machine, so rely on the line in on my main computer for the RC audio. Will use for FS (of course!) and gaming mainly - listening to music and watching films et is a lower need. No bluray here. While not a dealbreaker, Dolby enhancement (5.1, 7.1 etc) would be nice. Any ideas? Thanks, Leo

Over the weekend, a number of planes (JetBlue and American) were unable to land at Newark or JFK, and were instead routed to Bradley "International" in Hartford, Connecticut. There was a surprise snowstorm in the Northeast US at the time. The American plane was coming in from Europe. In what seems an unnecessary fiasco, passengers were kept on the planes for hours, up to 8 according to some reports. The news just didn't have very good information, though, so it's hard to tell what happened. It seems to me that in a situation like that, they could just wheel some stairs out to the plane, let people off and let them walk (or perhaps ride a bus) to the terminal. Yes, it's …

Hi everybody!I'm looking to purchase and build my first rig in December. Yes, I know it is 2 months away but I'm just researching parts I may use in the future if they're still good at the time. Technology changes fast! Here's a picture of my shopping cart at Newegg:Am I missing something? Is everything compatible with each other? Yes, I do know I'm missing a video card and keyboard & mouse but I plan on choosing those components later, like I said before technology changes very fast...If you can't see the Item #s, here are the links:DVD: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16827136236Case: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811129066 (Can you see how big it is from the inside? One of the biggest events in IVAO history just got bigger! Instead of 9 divisions joining together to fly across the Atlantic like last year, this year there will be 13 from all over Europe ranging from the Swedish division down to Greece!IVAO US and CA have agreed to provide aerodrome and en-route control for our arrivals into from KJFK and KBOS.Pilots who depart from any of the main land European airports except for Lisbon and Barcelona, will route via Shanwick and Gander for the Atlantic crossing. Those pilots who fly from Lisbon and Barcelona will route via Santa Maria and New York Oceanic. Both routes will be fully staffed for the entire crossing to ensure realisim f…

so I'm one of the lucky guys who gets to stay home and work out of my house while my wife leaves and goes to her office job. I always like to see her off every morning and this morning, when she got in the car and the seat belt not fastened chime went off, I said, in a real low serious voice, "you are cleared for pushback and engine start" To which I get rolling eyes and shakes head. silly I know, but I had way to much fun, cause I know what she would think of it.Sometimes, If I really want to drive her nutty, everytime I'm in the car with her and were going somewhere, I insist that the a/c is off BEFORE engine start to make sure that the electrical systems don't get b…

Hey Everyone,Since I decided to purchase an electronic reader so I could enjoy reading where ever, I also decided to wait for the new Kobo Vox full color ereader. It was released for sale yesterday, and I went out and bought one.It is a 7 inch full color capacitance (you use your fingers to tap/swipe/etc) screen, seven hour battery-life (with wi-fi active, more with it not) and the best part of it all....is that it also is a full-function Android 2.3.1 TABLET! Hundreds of dollars cheaper than other Tablet manufacturers!!!So..why do I mention this on a flight-sim site? Simple...For $199.99 (list price), you can have not only an electronic reader for all flight sim books a…

Hi the ceo of qantas has grounded all aircraft international and domestic effective imediately. Passengers were offloaded while sitting on the tarmac etc, this is due to the relationship between the union and qantas. The union apparently wants to control what qantas does in overseas market etc but the ceo doesnt want the union to get involved what so ever. So this be interesting to see how this pans out since this is a first time this is happened here. (ceo versus the unions)
