http://avherald.com/h?article=465e38db&opt=0 This is eerily similar to Asiana and only 3 weeks on, something needs to be done to address this issue among pilots... Regards, Ró.

I was wondering why Avsim doesn't have a fourm section for the game as of now it has 3,000,000 users I'm not sure this is the right place to post this but I'd think a fourm section would be a good idea. If you haven't looked at it yet check it out http://warthunder.com/ The flight dynamics are great if you turn up the realism settings

I've been looking to get either a Drukair A319 or ATR 42-500 model, but since Drukair is such a little known company, buried in the depths of the Himalayas, there are very few options for a Drukair model. I looked around, and found that HerpaWings makes a Drukair A319 in 1:500 scale. I was reading on Airliners.net that people liked the HerpaWings aircraft, but when I looked at pictures of the HerpaWings A319, the nose didn't look right compared to its real life counterpart. I used to own a Dragon Wings B777-200LR in the Air India livery, and it was a fantastic and accurate model. Does anyone own a HerpaWings aircraft, and if so... are they high quality and accurate? A…

I will preface this post by hoping Tom will allow it. I will avoid using profanity. But I will say what's on my mind. Tonight I had to clean a despondent daughter's computer from malware. Despite my best efforts, she was human and clicked one of those drive by download "your pc is not protected" popups. Fortunately she was very smart--she knew afterwards her browser (Chrome) was not behaving right. And fortunately her daddy's a systems guy. I am not saying that to boast. I'm saying that because I feel blessed I was given that gift by a higher power. I wasn't angry with my daughter, but I was angry inside at those who right this junk. What my daughter and I ha…

At many stores and online retailers, returning open software (As in, the box it comes in has the seal broken, is open, etc.) is not allowed. Usually, they will just give you a replacement. Today, though, I was checking to see if my Windows was validated (I recently reinstalled my OS) and I found the the Microsoft Software License Terms (Found on your computer at Start>Run>winver>Microsoft Software License Terms) while some of my addons were downloading. Near the top or so, it says: So, technically, a store or retailer should comply with the software's terms, correct?

Hi guys, just had a 6.8 earthquake about 5 minutes ago. it shook for a good minute and the earth still hasn't stopped. It peaked at 6.8 for about 30 seconds and just been a light rumble for about the past 6 or 7 minutes. We are all fine just had to hold the TV up from falling Here is the info on the last one: http://www.geonet.org.nz/quakes/region/newzealand/2013p543824 This has been going on for almost 3 days now and they are getting bigger and bigger now. Amazing the power of mother nature as if you think about how heavy the earth is and how easily it can shake like that. the earth is just a shell with a very soft inside and we sit on top of that shell.

I finally took up a Stearman yesterday for an hour of dual. This particular airplane has the slightly shorter Navy style landing gear and a 220 HP engine. Forward and downward visibility totally sucked as expected, but nothing beat the experience of the wind in the face, the sound of the radial and the singing of the flying wires. The airplane was a dream to fly. Contrary to what I expected it had extremely light controls. It handled like a huge J-3 to a degree. The approach stalls were very docile and steep turns didn't demand much effort. When you dial back the power however, the airplane does not glide very far. It looses airspeed and altitude very quickly. …
