Watching episode one of the UK Channel 4 documentary series "Terror in the Skies", I was amazed to see (about 15 minutes in) a L1101 sporting the TWA logo (and lit up). This was as an A380 was landing, so it's not old film, unless the film company goofed somehow.. Any idea what this can be? Martin

War Thunder continues to pass milestone after milestone, and make money hands over fist while doing it. There are now more than 5 million flyers, and at this point, the full simulation mode, even if only used by a relative minority, can hold its head up with almost anything else out there. Fortunately it seems, the developers have more than enough money overflowing to indulge even that small minority. In the meanwhile, I think this single vid probably exceeds the yearly development budget of most of our current sims! :lol: And........ Thar' be simmers here!!! Arrrrrrrrrrr!!! B)

I have a question regarding the signs of the runway number I saw ones a sign just before the runway 14-32 but the runway 32 was left and 14 was right. mention this in the club and the answer was sometimes they use the lowest one left and the highest one right. is there a pilot who knows what is the exact rule? or is it different per region? like usa or europe.

Hi all. I have latest version and cannot download London regions and when I press restore purchases it says in app purchases are not allowed and that there is no Internet access. Tis is not the case as ipad is online and the in app purchases are enabled. Any ideas???

I've been looking back over the year that has pretty much come to an end with FSX looking and feeling the best it has EVER been! What has had the most influence on this? For me, and I'd love to hear other peoples opinions, they have been.... 1: Opus weather. It has got better and better with every beta. 2: DX10 Fixer. Without it I would not be experiencing FSX as I now know it. 3:REX4. I always felt REX OD clouds and water were the best! AS2012 for runways etc. Not any more. REX4 is a game changer. Clouds are superb, whitecaps have reappeared in DX10, and the rest of their textures are top notch! 4: A2A's C172. I've bought loads of planes in the past year and some…

Don't know if many of you are aware of this but Rogers Cable in Canada has the Westjet Channel. It's like the fireplace channel but shows planes on the ramp being serviced accompanied by relaxing music and also features Westjet destinations. Nice relaxing HD for the aviation enthusiast.

Has Avsim drop Tapatalk the Ipad app? It shows a error message each time I go to avsim. I really like it because I can pickup where I left off and subscribed to any topic.
