Hey all, Recently I've been updating some UTLive schedules using UTT schedules for 2018. When I convert these schedules to xml format for use in UTLive, schedules of airlines that are supposed to fly to Al Najaf airport in Iraq typically give an error saying that legs to ORNJ were not converted to xml and thus discarded, because this airport doesn't appear in UTLive's database. Now that's all fine - recently somebody on the UTLive forum figured out how to add missing airports to UTLive's database and has successfully applied this to OTHH. Thus, it seems to me I could do the same to ORNJ - if I knew what this airport is. As an aside, Najaf doesn't exist in P3D's …

Hello all, Two quick queries if I may. 1. Has anyone found out if the Eaglesoft Citation II extreme is working/compatible in P3Dv4? and, 2. I am looking at buying some Indonesian scenery WADD ... (I know Aerosoft has one)... WIII WARR from BDO Aviation. Can anyone tell me if this scenery is compatible with P3Dv4 please? Enquiries to BDO have gone unanswered and Simmarket simply state for P3Dv3 FSX etc. It appears to be incredibly hard sometimes to give a developer any money or support for their product. I have these payware sceneries for FS2004 and am very happy with them, hence the P3Dv4 enquiry. Thanks Guys Tony

Noticed in the Bargain forum that Eaglesoft was having a 40% sale and out of nostalgia went and looked. They now have the basic GA Liberty 2 for P3D and having just switched to P3D and having bought it as it was my first aircraft in FSX. It was a great first aircraft for familiarization and I could install F1 GTN 750 and learn about that in an otherwise benign environment. A really nice little bird to learn on. However, when loaded up in P3D the instruments in the panel are blank, all of them. Had a similar problem back in FSX with the GTNs being blacked out, but just correcting the F1GTN.ini file fixed that. However, in P3D there is no .ini file. Anyone have an…

Have had REALITY XP FOR YRS........Just installed Orbx Global and FLT SIM just blew up .........got black patches all over scenery After many deleted / re-installs of my FLT SIM X & deleting Orbx got FLT SIM back "NEW ISSUE" in doing so my existing REALITY XP does not work . I get the gps panel in my planes but the will not open .I get a clear window in the gps XP panel in plane Have deleted & re-installed REALITY XP and same issue . I have walked thru the Titanic, the graphics and fluidity of fps are amazing, and there is a guide with a British accent that keeps you company as you wander at your own pace thru the demo. Hey gents, I am actually working on my master thesis in aviation technics, especially we want to develope an algorithm that finds the optimal arrival route to a runway automaticly. Therefore I want to verify and test this approach to a real airport focusing on London-Heathrow EGLL. I need to know how the controllers are working at this airport, so how they separat each aircraft to another, how the holding points are built and so on. Hopefully one have some experience or knowledge about that (Reallife or maybe Vatsim/IVAO). It would be so much appreciated. Thank you very much for your help 🙂

I was doing some personal research and there's something I don't understand regarding airliner ranges as compared to seating capacity. As an example, according to Airbus, the A350-9 has a range of 8100NM with 325 pax. However, the Lufthansa A359 carries 293 pax, but according to their website, it has a range of only 7625 miles (6630 NM), which is only approx. 81.8% of the range stated by Airbus. Why would the range be so much shorter? If the 293 pax carried is approx. 90% of the nominal 325 pax carried by the A359, wouldn't the range be 10% longer than what Airbus states, due to the a/c having a lighter load? Hello all, I touched on this in another thread but it was largely not addressed. Looking at the G500/600 (and Synthetic Vision) I got to thinking what an incredible combination this would be in the RealAir Duke60 Turbo to replace the analog instruments. The combination of the G500/600 and the GTN750/650 would be the ants pants for me and if it can be done in the Duke, it could surely be done in other aircraft too ie the A2A 182 which has a large blank panel on the right side. Has anyone else give this any thought and is it, or could it be actually feasible in the panel config or elsewhere. If it is not, how is it to be used and in what aircraft? Loo…

Do parked ai aircraft affect the system as much as airborne ai aircraft? I'm using My Traffic and I like to see a reasonable number of airliners at the gates when I fly into a major airport. I don't care much how many are flying. I just like the effect of a busy airport based on the number of parked aircraft at the gates. Using KSFO as a standard I adjust the traffic % until I have an acceptable framerate. Then I look at the gates and check the number of aircraft parked at them. At 50% traffic the gates are loaded but my framerate is down to 9-12 FPS. When I drop the traffic to 10% my frame rate is up the mid to high 20s but I still have a goodly number of…

In real life I have been simming for 18 years with what I've built as a really nice simpit and been on PilotEdge for over a year now if not two (time flies when you get old). A couple of months ago in Sept I had to renew my Part 107 UAV Remote Pilot license. Two years ago when I took the test I was so proud of myself.
