  1. Could a person give lessons for making an aircraft, or even better is there a virtual school for creating an aircraft?

  2. I just read an article about an in-air collision that happened in Denver this morning. It stated that the CR22 and a Fairchield Metroliner collided on approach. The Metroliner landed safely with major tail damage and the articel says the pilot of the CR22 deployed a parachute that brought the CR22 to the ground with no injuries to the pilot and passenger. I never heard of such a system. Here is the article: 2 small airplanes collide midair above Denver, no one injured, authorities say | Fox News

This could be very significant. https://www.torquenews.com/1/tesla-and-toyota-are-considering-jointly-developing-small-electric-suv-platform "Toyota provides the vehicle platform to Tesla, and instead, Tesla provides some of the electronic control platform and software technology installed in its vehicle to Toyota. When the partnership with Toyota is established, Tesla will be able to launch a compact SUV electric vehicle at low cost using the Toyota platform. In addition, Tesla's sales in Japan, which are around 1,000 units per year, are likely to increase significantly."

This one is for you Sue, our resident Master Mechanic. Auto Mechanics 101 I don't know when a young boy's interest in automobiles begins, but it must be at a pretty early age. In the seventh grade we were already identifying the make and year of every automobile parked on the block or passing on the street. "There's a 46 Ford!" "Where?" "Over there in front of the church." "Oh, yeah." We were so knowledgeable. We talked about horsepower, carburetors, cylinders, transmissions, and soup-up kits. We dreamt of someday owning our own hot-rods with milled heads, dual carburetors, dual exhaust systems, dual points, and all of the chrome accouterment'…

Bezos of course claimed its stupid to go to Mars because its such a hellish place. He claimed Everest is a picnic compared to Mars. Some on this forum are of the same opinion. The following video "may" change your mind. Great video, the Angry Astronaut gets better every video. Covers 3D printing Mars habitats too.

One of my all time favorite movies. About a Norwegian family living in San Francisco at the turn of the century. There are parts of it that make my eyes water. It played last evening on Turner Classic Movies. It's been quite a while since I posted this here, but I Remember Mama reminds me of a story I wrote about my father and the time we became friends. It was hot. The trail was dusty and the pack was getting heavier with every step up that long, steep trail that followed French Creek up the mountain. I began to wonder if this had been a bad idea. It was the summer of 1949 and I was fifteen years old, skinny, and weighed 120 pound soaking wet. The previ…

  15. Aye Lassie, ya mean woman. Ya told me about the book, and that's the truth! After telling you about the movie Tunes of Glory the other day Sue went and saw it. Then she told me she was going to read the book. I aways follow her recommendations and/or suggestions so I ordered the book for my Nook. But I'm two chapters into it and somewhat disappointed. The charm of reading a book is imagining the settings as you read it and forming the characters in your mind. But after having seen the movie that has already been done for you. It's almost like watching the movie twice. Aye! Ya mean woman. But I still luv ya anyway, and that's the truth! Noel

Well done to China for putting the first module of their space station into orbit. What a pity they don't give two hoots about the huge booster that's going to fall to Earth over the next few days. New Zealand not out of the firing line.

Look who does the bulk of the process! To further complicate things, the production of minerals like lithium, cobalt, and rare earths is highly concentrated. Just three countries account for more than 75% of all those mined today. Currently, 70% of cobalt comes from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and 60% of rare earth minerals come from China. The mineral-processing industry is even more concentrated than that, with China refining 90% of rare earth elements. Green Energy

I remember back in 2001 being on AVSIM and still looking for add-ons for FS95 LoL under USAIR767. After the site went down I fell far away from the AVSIM tree but it feels great to be back. And with the new FS2020 achieving almost everything myself and I'm sure others have dreamed of back since FS95 has finally become true it's time to get back to the roots with videos for some or all to enjoy! For the younger generation I don't think you understand how lucky you guys are. I remember going from FS95 to FS98 to FS2000 (Concorde I miss you!) to FS2002 to FS2004 and my Flight Sim journey stopped at Flight Simulator X as to date I still feel it was the biggest let down by Fl…

I am not sure why the first one made me laugh so hard. Maybe surprise at the concept, coupled with the dramatic music..... I assume its very cost effective.... Also: Poor Microsoft. Knowing us, we'll soon be demanding default planes be this detailed and interactive, or its not a sim!
