“We’ve got a synthetic environment that we’re able to train in, and that allows us to actually put an air refueling tanker in front of a B-2 and go do our air refueling in a very realistic setting,” Steeves added. “These simulators are all wired together across the country, so it’s not uncommon for us to be able to be working with a synthetic AWACS, for example, or synthetic fighters that are elsewhere.” Air Force: B-2 Operators Not ‘Sitting On Their Hands’ as Safety Pause Continues (airandspaceforces.com) Noel

I've been trying to find a resolution for an issue that came up after an update a while back. All ATC and pilot voices in the sim are the same voice. It's as if ATC is talking to itself. There was a time when voices varied... ATC had a unique voice, and each different pilot responding was a different voice. To be clear, I'm not talking about my voice. My voice is different than the ATC and other pilots. Again, ATC and all other pilots in the sim are the same exact voice. I've seen others complain about this, but I have not seen any resolution.

Anyway, I've just tried to update some freeware of flightsim.to and I get a message saying Turn of your Adblocker. Fine I look at adblocker plus and see that its already set to allow adds in flightsim.to. I then look at the fine print and apparently they want me to scourer to find out whats interfering with their website and suggesting I use another browwer other than Firefox which I've used for years. Not worth the effort. Bye bye. What the main alternative to flightsim.to for MSFS Freeware?

Maybe I'm strange, but I'm fascinated by geology. Especially plate tectonics. When I'm flying, I'm always thinking about the forces that formed the surrounding terrain. It's been said that if the earth was represented by an exercise ball 25 inches (63.5 cm) in diameter, the continental crust would be represented by the thickness of 11 pages of standard printer paper. The oceanic crust, just 2 pages thick. In real terms this means that the continental crust averages approximately 25 miles (40km) thick, but ranges up to around 40 miles (64km) thick in some places. This includes mountain peaks. On average, the oceanic crust is around 4.5 miles…

USA is the place. California's lithium Valley is the place. Huge deposits. Enough for half a million cars per year. Should last for generations. As we speak, ground is being broken on the cleanest, most efficient lithium production facilities on the planet.

Hi. Does anyone know how to set up the thrustmaster tq on fbw for flaps and spoiler? I can only get the levers in the sim to move when the tq lever is at full position down. Same with the spoiler. I've calibrated the axes through fsuipc7 but it doesn't help. Furthermore , the buttons at the detention points on the levers only worked the first time i connected the device. Grateful for any suggestions. But pls keep at simple as possible because reading from both fbw and pete dowsons support forum is over my head. I'm not so keen on posting on pete's support page since he makes me feel stupid at times. At least ten fifteen years ago before I grounded myself since I lost inte…

As the title says, in your opinion, which features makes a great airplane? In my opinion, having persistent state and being able to trigger maintenance + random failures is an indication of a great plane. All the best aircraft I've flown has this characteristic (PMDG, Fenix, A2A, etc). Perhaps it is because in order to reach this level you first need to have systems properly simulated and pay attention to details. Also, having failures properly simulated makes each flight unique, giving you an opportunity to learn more about how specific systems of the airplane works. For example, last night I had a failures on the blue hydraulics of the A320 and I learned a lot abou…
