Hangar Chat

This forum is for the discussion of things you might discuss when going into an airport hangar.  Please make sure that your topic isn't covered in another forum before posting here.  Please refrain from controversial topics...politics, religion, conspiracy theories, climate change, COVID etc.  Topics that elicit or are deemed by staff likely to elicit heated argument, contention, or otherwise objectionable banter will be removed from view.  We allow some latitude, but please remember that, first and foremost, this is a flight-simulator oriented site frequented by people from all walks of life.

  2. The Cup was always full in the first place, because even when it was entirely empty of water it was always filled with Air, therefore that question was always flawed, real answer it was always full in the first place with a combination of water and air or no water and all air and all water and no air, the cup has never been empty Therefore always be positive because it was never empty to begin with 😎

I have an account on flightsim.to. Since their revamped website I am being told that developers have updated some of the liveries that I have downloaded previously but the links to download the update and the area to comment do not work at all. Anyone else experiencing this? Could it be due to the browser I am using? I use the chrome browser.

  7. I love technology. I think this demo is cool, and I'm sure I can't even imagine where all this will eventually take us. I also wonder just how many customer-facing jobs are soon to be on the line. Is it odd that a tech enthusiast would also feel a nagging sense of danger/apprehension about all this?

I have P3Dv5.4 with many addons. It runs like a dream and with Orbx base coat looks great. With v6 now out does that look as good or better? MSFS 2020 currently on offer for £29, presumably with MSFS 2024 out next year. How does it compare to P3Dv5.4 or v6 even. Your comments gratefully received.

  12. Yah, I had something similar happen, a few times actually, when winning prizes at fairs and amusement parks only for them to suddenly add conditions and not want to cough up the prize. I was a kid then, and in each case the watching crowd started booing and jeering and getting angry, and I got my stuff....

So, there is one thing that has been bugging me the last couple of years (more or less). Back in 1988, when I was the ripe old age of nine, me and my family went to Rhodes, Greece, for vacation. First leg was from my hometown down south some 300NM to ESSA. After an over night stay at ESSA we did the next leg to Rhodes. I do believe we flew with SAS but frankly I have no idea and my parents don't know either. I have this memory boarding through stairs at the rear end of the aircraft (however that could have been on another occasion entirely). I do, however, remember the tremendous acceleration when we headed down the runway for the take-off (way more than the fi…
