Why is this? Is the storage just too much?  Of all the forum communities I participate in, this is the only one that doesn't allow posting images directly.

Dazzystar, I think this Simlab link  is to:

the *new* version of my old rig,

thats as close to picture I can provide of the rig itself ☺️ Btw *my rig* has the silver/natural and no racing seat but instead a comfy RECARO-car-seat

*not the Black painted-extrusion shown pn the picture*

Also this rig is much higher quality for the money than mine! My rig was quite cheap but still good enough. 😊 better than my wood skills could provide atleast... 😅

Avsim, would you consider some small pictures to be optionally uploaded with the postings ?

only 1 pr. Post say somthing low res, but still usefull: something like 620x480(SD) size and filesize MAX 400kb?

Could that be considered, also put in a Captcha to post the picture to hinder spam-bots on the forum 🤔☺️

@Virtual-Chris and @Rune-ENHD  The main thing is the cost of the extra storage on the server and the general lack of site funding so far this year.

Awaiting the new Microsoft Flight Sim and the purchase of a new system.  Running a Chromebook for now!

Hmm, ok AVSIM,

could perhaps a small donation like 5$ every month for support/and *the occational picture* upload *open up a possibility* like that?

I would then also like to see less adds when I am on my cell-phone(Google/Android)?

😊

This is actually built around an Ikea desk, and has seen several iterations over the past 14 years... EDIT: I've just been on Ebay to see if I coukld find the desk I used. It's been quite a few years anbd sadly I don't think they produce it any more. It's a shame, as it was a large, steel frame which has tall adjustable side supports and so it allowed me to fit side walls to the rig and also a top. The best bit was that it is extremely strong. If I can find one online I'll post a pic to give you an idea.  EDIT: Found it, It;s called a Jerker desk...   BTW, I can't emphasise enough the amount of immersion that you get when you build a simpit/cockpit that is enclosed.

Be honest. Neo and Morpheus are behind you loaded up into the matrix. Aren’t they?

Bookmarking this thread for when my wife complains I spend too much on computer hardware 😄

I'm sure it's great, but I just don't understand it -- the use of streamdeck with these setups.   Isn't that what these little button pads are?  Is the use to set up view-switching or something like that?

@skysurfer what do you have your FMC mounted on there?  Also is that tablet the FMC is in?

Streamdeck is for cameras. I also have a profile to manage certain buttons and switches when I am too busy to move my camera like to see OVHD panel while vacating a runway after landing. So for the most part I use it for cameras. However I use FSFO software, so my FO is quite handy.
The FMC is from Cockpit Simulator. I use a mount from Joy Factory and an adaptor like mini VESA. The plate I placed the FMC I made it myself. I had to be a bit creative.
