PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

In my two landings thus far, I set autobrake to two, but the brakes do not engage. I've checked controller calibration for mt CH pedals. This feature is working in all other aircraft (737 and 777 for instance). I am using the latest version of P3D. Should I delete my FSUIPC.ini?

It seems that the FMC does not have any SIDs STARs or Approaches to YVR. All my other PMDG products do. Anyone else have the same issue?

Hi all, Firstly, lovely aircraft. I've come across something i can't figure out. When i've completed a flight, and i land, ( i've only noticed it at night ) If i view the aircraft in spot view, The red label text is above telling me what aircraft it is, distance, altitude etc... I have checked in FSX Settings and the labels are turned off for user aircraft. If i select another aircraft in FSX i don't have the problem. Is there a way to stop this? Thank you. Michael

Hello Currently doing Heathrow to Miami BA flight. On the ground FPS was good but now that I am in cruise my GPU usage is only 15%, usually its at 45 - 50%. Using MSI afterburner to monitor. Was fine yesterday.

Hello! This is about my 10th flight with the 747 and no problems yet. However, this question is the first thing that has come up. All my previous flights followed the FMC programming correctly. Today, I planned a flight with PFPX, set a cruise Alt for 360 in the FMC as well as on the console, no problem. However, the FMC is calculating in the LEGS section a FL of 430...I went into the VNAV setup and changed the Cruise alt back to 360, and the first 3 waypoints went to 360 but afterwards a step climb back up to 430,,. Any thoughts as to why this happens? Maybe turn off auto calculate step climbs?

I had no landing lights until the [sHADERS] folder was cleared and allowed FSX to rewrite the shaders. Is it correct the the BA(2016) has no taxi lights?? How do you insert a picture in your post?

Hi, have noticed there are a few threads already with autopilot disengagement issues, however, ive got the realistic ap engagement off, and still get the disconnection issues, with the AP engaging and then disconnecting after 10 seconds, it only works if there are no control loads (i use keyboard). I thought that option off meant that it would stay engaged even with control loads?

Can PMDG release printable FCOM & QRH for the new Queen? I remember that PMDG provided printable FCOM & QRH for NGX & 777X. I would be nice if the same thing can also be provided for the Queen. Thanks.

Is anyone else having this issue. I had the aircraft at the gate, chocks installed and pmdg service vehicle requested. I then cleared all service vehicles, closed all doors and removed chocks and started engines from the virtual cockpit. When I looked at an outside view, the chocks were still in place. I taxied to the end of the runway normally from the virtual cockpit but outside view still showed chocks in place.

Hi all, On a flight from KSFO to KSEA i'm using spot view and ..... see the pictures. 1. An open hatch from the Airco bay 2. After landing gear down selection some wheel chocks coming out the wheel bay 3. No r/h green nav light, no flashlights and no red anti collision light. All switches are in the "on" position

I flew from Schiphol to Toronto in the Queen and my VAS did not drop below 1gig until approach when it dropped to 800mb +. Amazing, I used speed up mode on x16 and it never glitched once, beautiful aircraft amazing P3D performance. PMDG the Rolls Royce of the sim World.

Has anyone experienced DIM landing lights? My runway takeoff lights are difficult to see, and taxi light is almost invisible? What could be the reason behind that? All 4 lights are on

I am using a rather "complex" audio setup, i have a dedicated soundcard at which i connected my headphones. Then i use speakers which i connected to the onboard sound of my mainboard. (realtech audio something ... ) In P3D and your older aircrafts (777 and NGX) i can perfectly switch between these audio output devices, but in the 747 the following happens If i try to switch the device in the fmc, my P3D crashes and after that when i launch it again, the 747 wont initialize the VC (i think that…

Hi all, Lots of people having A/P but I haven't seen anyone with my particular problem: Despite having all of the PERF pages filled out, with speeds, altitudes, and having the V-Speeds in, the gross weight set, , OAT, the elevator trim set, SIDS/STARS set, and being in stable flight with no control inputs (oh, yeah... and with realistic autopilot engagement setting OFF), I am getting yellow horizontal lines through both he VNAV and/or V/S text on the PFD when I hit any of the Autopilot engagement buttons. Can I make a request for a future failures feature? We badly need a way of triggering features based on either speed and/or altitude. The current time based system is pretty inflexible if you want to trigger common 'sim check' type events. Events like engine failures / fires at specific points in the take off roll, or say an autopilot failure just before minimums on a CAT3 approach. Having a speed / altitude trigger would make programming failures so much easier and hassle free, even more realistic. This must have been brought up before. Please. Cheers. Adam Turley

Hey, So all day I've been dealing with this annoying stuttering in the cockpit. Took me all day but I was finally able to pin-point it. When using either of the two mentioned software and using the middle-mouse button to look around, I see the stutter. Then I noticed, when you hold down the middle mouse, both piece of software hide the cursor by bringing it to the edge. In EZDok, it's hidden on the right side in the lower hand corner. In Chaseplane, it's hidden at the bottom middle of the screen. When this 'hidden' cursor areas hit ANY of the screens, FMCs, anything that'll pop out, it starts to stutter as long as it's 'on the piece that can pop out. If you use…

Anyone having issues should definitely read the tutorial and intro docs- it really answered a lot of my questions. One issue i am constantly dealing with is managing VM and OOM errors. i have quite a lot of the ORBX scenery and addons, and I utilize Scenery Config editor to manage them depending on what kind of flight im doing. i also use Texture Max editor to set base resolutions for the same reason.
