PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

How do I change between CRT and LCD? Pressing the option on the FMC does nothing. I also seem to be having some problems with my elevator trim. My assigned Joystick axis does not work. Thanks Thiago Braun

The operations center is indicating that I have loaded the 747 in FSXSE. The A/C is loaded in FSX and there is no problem with A/C but can't get anything in the ops center. Redduke

Just completed my first flight...the usual flight for me is CYYZ to CYUL, flew between the two Fly Tampa airports in P3D. Landed in Montreal in snow, frames were very good at 25 to 30. VAS over 1MB remaining. And what a joy to hand fly....as soon as I had the runway in sight about 6 miles out I hand flew her in and it was really sublime. Almost made the first landing seem too easy. Only problem I had was with the AP disconnecting over and over after takeoff. I believe this is the controller issue with something not being centered but I will get that sorted out.

Evening all, loving the 747, but having a strange issue with my DU displays when they are the LCD version. I load the bird up in the PMDG default panel set up and the displays are all black, not like they are off but like there is an issue in the sim. When I click on the displays, they are 2D as expected and can see them, but in the VC they stay black. Quite strange. Hopefully I am not the only one having this issue, as I really want to get this fixed. Thanks in advance! Connor Cummings

I am aware that in previous PMDG releases circuit breakers were not modeled due to limitations in FSX and P3D. I am also fully aware that in some addons the circuit breakers are completely modeled. I want to know are the cicuit breakers modeled in the new 747 V3?

Its a weird trouble and It doesn't seem to affect the aircraft but when I am on the ground the red tags that you see on AI aircraft or on multiplayer aircraft on VATSIM appear on my aircraft. If that isn't weird enough when I move on the ground my AivlaSoft EFB shows a 2nd aircraft on the map like I am on top of it. Bizarre. Anyone else experience anything like this? Like I said it doesn't seem to affect the sim. Hopefully this isn't a "RTFM" moment because then I will feel like a dope.

Does this work with the Saitek radio and multi panel as the 737 did? If so is it the same fix? Thanks

Iv tried every combination of Hold, Cargo, Cargo Hold, Capacity, Limits, etc but i cant find what the structral floor weights are for the holds are. Any one know what the Max cargo capacity is of a Pax (109) variation?? iv hit MAX on the FMC to load it, but it just takes the load to MZFW, i just wanted to update the PFPX files so its correct... So 3 holds, what max weight can i get in them, and if you have the data what was your source, (iv tried searching the 1600 page (LOL) FCOM but to no avail. Liam

After a successful install and initial load when everything initialized properly I restarted flightsim (FSX) and now there are no gears and panels and the initialization message doesn't appear in the top left. FYI the NGX still fine..... Wondering what is happening? thanks John

The command keys are not following the FSX settings. In the other PMDG products, the trim, AP and AT are on the joystick keys and they are not.

now that the plane is released could you tell me what you need to create a specific airline config? Phil

Kind of a dumb question... But is their an option to select on/off the humidifier that some 747s have? I'm away from home for the next day, but couldn't recall seeing it last night.

Hello, First let me say what a great job you have done on the 747! When I try to run FS passengers I get an error stating "This add on is using all 64 windows in FSX and Fs passengers cannot create the mini tool tip panel." Or something along those lines. Then I get the option to not create the tool tip panel or edit the panel.cfg file to free up a panel window. I did not create the panel and it seems to work OK, just without any feedback from FS passengers. Is there a panel i can delete and not break the Queen? I haven't looked at the panel.cfg file yet. Hello, Upon installing the 747 I'm getting a "Feature transfer error", about halfway through the installation process. The installation is subsequently terminated. I've Googled the issue and followed some basic suggestions like running the installer as an admin, cleaning the user temp folder or rebooting Windows 10 in safe mode. Tried those things without succes. I've never encountered this error before, despite also using the PMDG 737NGX and 777 for P3D on the same machine. Any ideas? Thanks for your help! The catering vehicles, as well as the fueling truck and the truck that brings out the power unit, are all invisible. The only part that is visible is the flashing light. I wouldn't know if the plane was being service, if not for flashing lights just floating along.

I noticed PMDG synced their custom exterior lights with the default sim lights (FSX-SE here), like they did with previous releases. The strobe lights seem to be out of sync, though, at least that's what good ole Flight Deck Companion tries to tell me. Just a heads-up; I like very much what I have seen so far. Oliver Maertens

Hey guys, I know you are busy, so I will keep this brief. I'm sure you'll figure it out in 30 seconds, but it's 5AM in the morning here, and I am out of ideas. After selecting the aircraft, this is what shows up in the rotating screen. When proceeding to load the flight, nothing happens, just a black screen, even the progress bar during loading is not visible. FSX SE, no AV program other than MSE. Installed as administrator. Something interesting that happened after installation is that ASN no longer receives the flight plan created in FSX, departure and destination airports had to be entered manually. i´m trying to get a speed restriction into the fmc thats associated with an waypoint. i enter 185/ and then press on the corrosponding line. why do i keep getting an invalid entry message? whats the correct procedure to enter it?

Hi, Just about downloading the Queen but I'd like to know if they are for now more liveries that those included in the Ope manager, or if we can use the liveries from the previous version of the PMDG 747?? I.e.on the Avsim Library there is a Sabena 747, and as a Belgian flyer, I'd love to fly her with the Sabena livery, and I don't knwo how many time it will take for someone make a livery for the new version of the 747, so if the livery works even if it was made for the previous 747 from PMDG, i would be nice
