    Hello there, I download Saudi Arabia Airline and I see the logo on right tail is wrong. the moon should be from the Left to the Right same like in the Left side Can some one help here and try to fix it for me. Thank you so much for what you are doing for us

    I have noted on both the PMDG 777 and 747 V3, that when the number 1 and 2 NAV radios are set to auto tune, they always both tune to the same VOR/DME frequency. I'm not trying to say "this is definitely wrong", as it may be correct on the 777 and later model 747s, but it was not always the case. On the 757, early 767 and early 747, GPS was not standard equipment. The IRS system was the primary source of lateral NAV guidance, and due to the tendency for the IRS position to drift with time, the NAV radio auto tune logic was set to select two different navaids whenever possible - with preference being given to DME/DME cross fixes to update the IRS position enroute…

    Hi Before the update I successfully used the PVD. Now when I try and enter the ILS identifier or the actual frequency I can’t. On line 4 left I have "PARK" showing. When I click on line 4 left to upload the frequency from the scratch pad I get "INVALID ENTRY" in the scratch pad. I would be grateful for any help in overcoming this.

    Dear Friends, I've purchased the 747 from you yesterday. I'm just wondering about if it's normal that haven't receive any email from you about my purchase. Also, in the PayPal receipt, the item description is blank. I was able to download and install the new bird, but it just feels awkward not getting a purchase confirmation.     Hi, I wondering which manual and which pages provide an explanation on how to use the following features in the “FS Actions” section of the FMS? I would like understand how to use the following: 1) Service Vehicles? 2) Ground Operations? 3) Maintenance Operations? I played with it a bit and I really think this is a really nice addition PMDG to offer, especially freighters…….even more features than even GSX offers.     Hi guys, I am trying to enjoy the 747 v3. Unfortunately I am unable to load a saved flight and finish my IFR plan. The 747 starts entirely out of config when loading finishes. Does someone know why this happens? After loading, systems work fine, but no flight plan is visible in the FMC and the airplane is "jittering" around. A saved flight is unflyable for me in the 747. Any help is welcome. Peter

    Looked through here and didn't find anyone else having this issue. I use P3D v3.4 and I do not have failures enabled within the sim. Also do not have failures enabled in the PMDG 747 FMC but during flight I lost engines 1,2 and 3 upon descending to Denver international. I was able to switch on the engines again but I am puzzled as to why I have engine failure when I do not have failures enabled anywhere in the sim.

    Hello far more experienced and knowledgable ones than I. I have been enjoying the new 747 but have come into a problem more often than not. While setting up the flight at the gate, all is going well and am able to use all the functions of the aircraft including the MCP for setting altitude and takeoff speed. Then and I am not certain when, the MCP stops responding to any adjustments I make. I can see the heading line move in the panel however, the numbers on the MCP don't budge. Same with the speed and the alt. I have to shut it down and re-boot. Sometimes I can fly and some times it happens again. Any suggestions as to what Im doing wrong or c…

    Hi, I hope this is the correct forum. Last night, In the PMDG 747 v3, as I was being vectored into Rwy 28 at EIDW, Approach cleared me for the ILS. I clicked on the LOC button but it did not show up on my display and no Glide Slope indicators either. I had the runway set in the FMC and I was at fix LAPMO @FL3000. I had the autopilot active but not LNAV or VNAV modes at the time but when I hand fly patterns without AP, this has never occured. I'd appreciate any ideas what I did wrong?     I was flying a KLM 747-400M from EHAM to RKSI today and the aircraft lost Engine 4 electrical generator in the early stages of the descent into RKSI for some unknown reason. The descent was continued and no action was taken. 5 minutes later, Oil pressure, Oil quantity and Oil temperature warnings for engines 1, 3 and 4 sounded and the checklist stated these engines should be shutdown. The affected engines were shutdown and an attempt to start the APU was made. This attempt was unsuccessful as the APU oil quantity was also too low. Flying in and/or out of high altitude airports, requires some careful review and operation of the cabin pressurization when the airport's elevation is higher than 8000 feet (I used to be "good" at it in my B767 days, but that was two versions of simulators ago and I cannot recall the details).     Hi and a big thank you to PMDG for this incredible aircraft. A sense of nostalgia washed over me as I engaged TOGA on this bird as it reminded me of the last time I flew on the Queen with Delta from Tokyo to Detroit...truly amazing. Anyways, I found a blog a while ago written by a Delta 747 pilot where he detailed is adventures aboard the queen. It's a fantastic read and I highly recommend it to anyone that is an aviation geek (the reading is even more enjoyable now that we can replicate these flights).     Hello, I've noticed that engine start after the update is not as smooth. There is a 3-5 second pause then instant start up after pulling the engine switch. Not sure anyone else noticed that. Startup was real smooth before the update. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks

  21. When hand flying an approach, ILS or otherwise, when using the flight director but with the autopilot turned off, shouldn't I be getting altitude Callouts as I approach the runway? The FMC is programmed with the waypoints, altitudes, etc. in this case the ILS is tuned and I'm able to hand fly the approach. Just no Callouts. I'm not getting them even though they are enabled in the aircraft set up? Any thoughts as to why I'm not getting them? Really, it's much more difficult to land without the aural information. Help please.

  24. I started having OOM problems again after finally getting FSX DX9 just right to run the 777. I have to put back my autogen to sparse from normal or dense and water to 1x high when flying the Queen. It uses 300-400mb MORE VAS than the 777! This is the opposite of what PMDG claimed they said it would be better or similar to the 777 and that is not the case at all. I am very upset after buying the AS2016 FSX version and the Queen FSX version now I am stuck with it I paid 150 for both and neither has a switch to P3D upgrade price so another 200 for the P3D license of AS16 and the Queen is not in my budget. Did I do something wrong in FSX to get such higher vas numbers in the …
