[Thrustmaster Warthog / CH throttle quadrant / Saitek Trim wheel and pedals] Hi, on FSXSE, I've tried to setup four sliders on CH Throttle quadrant, one for each engine: it works perfectly, except that thrust reverse keypress won't engage the reversers ( conflict?), so that I had to step back to one only axe throttle programming (on Warthog), in which case the keypress works correctly please, any suggestion that might help me using separately the four engines, yet having working reversers? thanks Marco Gabbrielli

The amount of work which has gone into creating this module, in addition to the NGX & T7 of course, is quite astonishing and explicitly reflected in the outcome. I have a background of 20 years in commercial flying in addition to even longer in I.T. related fields and am painfully aware of the complexities and idiosyncrasies of both. When you say, we recommend running this software in 64bit. I have two desk top's to work with and 4 ssd drives. Would hooking up any of the hardware/software help in a 32bit program. Who do you recommend for 64bit software. Also are any of you going to the flight sim conference in Hartford Conn @ Bradley INTL. Thanks Stanford.

Hi everyone, I'm using a 737 throttle with only two fuel control switches. How do you program FSUIPC registered version to contol two fuel control switches with one switch? By the way, I was able to figure out how to select CUTOFF on all engines using one switch withing PMDG key commands settings. Thanks, George

Hi, This is consistent here when I fly in a stormy weather (Thunderstorms in the area) and in general, stormy unstable weather which will bump the airplane. Airspeed becomes really unstable and will jump up and down to the RED scale (airspeed too low) and subsequently the autopilot disconnects. Maybe it is the way it is designed? I am using AS16 + ASCA and scaled down turbulence effects (both cloud and wind) to 15 to try and see what happens. It did not help, and I had to hand fly the A/C until it got out of the stormy area or altitude. also EZCA effects canceled in lieu of the PMDG 744 built in effects. Any ideas? suggestions? Tx Benny

Is anybody else having the issue of the exterior light splash not appearing after the updates? I've already contacted support and we're in the process of trying to see what would cause it, but they've also said that nobody else has reported it yet. Running FSX here, and this happens with both my livery and the default liveries. When I ran the repair tool from the original installer, the lights worked again, but when I ran the update again, it stopped working again. Obviously this makes for a difficult task of trying to taxi around at night.

In my last three flight A/P during decent in solid IFR condition disconnected. Weather Condition: Solid IFR visibility Zero. Turbulent/ moderate/ severe. Two flights was in 7000Ft and 1500 lost A/P Last flight less then 500ft ,auto land mode. Go around initiated , and circle landed with out incident with out A/P My findings: A/P connection over sensitive and need to calibrate for firm connection .

Hello guys, Recently, I use PMDG747V3 for Prepar3D (Version 3.4.22) for some long flight. It crashes approximately every 8 hours. Base on the system record, the Error module always be KernelBase.dll and today it shows ntdll.dll. I tried to reinstall 747 several times but it didn't work. Also, I tried Prepar3D 3.3.5 and 3.4.18 but the problem remaining. My 747v3 product is updated by PMDG operation center. What's more, After I uninstall my PMDG747V3 and fly a long flight using PMDG777, everything goes well no matter how long I fly. So, I was flying normally, CYYZ to KBOS (I know short but I love it so much) and when I reached top of decent, the auto throttles went to full power and over speeded the aircraft. I disengaged them, slowed, reengaged them and the problem didnt return. This a glitch or something that is supposed to happen?

The altitude tape will start off around 9,000' after take off. The needle is clearly showing that the 747 is ascending but the altitude in feet goes down but the motion of the tape is going from top to bottom which is normal. The backup altimeter is black. I guess I'll have to un-install if that's the only way. but when I do should the liveries un-install also?

Hi, I have flown the tutorial from KDEN to KSFO four times now and I'm learning more and more but I have some questions about some items that don't seem to work per the tutorial. On pages 76/77 the ILS 111.70 does not automatically show as it says per the tutorial. As an experiment I clicked on LSK 4L and then it put it on the PD. How do I change the behavior of the Radio Knob on page 77/78? By messing with it I discovered I have to RIGHT click it to get it to work then it's very difficult to get the correct radio alt set in the PD. Hi First of all this is no big problem only an observation that is a little strange to me. A/C temperature. I do not want to start some crazy bug discussion only a simple question why? How is it possible that the inlet air temperature in the A B C .... cabins are higher then the master temp? Master is 24 Celsius but the other is 26, Magenta color. In general this is very warm like a day at the beach. And when I lower master to let say 23 or 22 the compartments are cooled down to that but after a while they are raised again. In my car I have it set to 21-22 year around, at home 21. So 24-26 is far to warm for me in travel. If this is a bug after…

Hello, I have after I installed P3D on my new computer experienced that the configuration settings are not installed on the 747 or NGX for that matter. Both the 747 and NGX is installed as admin and Operation Center is also run as admin. The reason I found out is with the NGX I have some liveries where the settings are metric, but the weight is in lbs. With the 747 one of the liveries was with digital MCP, but after installing it on my new computer it have become analog.

Good morning, I have been attempting to fly a 747 from KLAX or KSFO to EHAM using the KLM 747-400 repaint (new colors) from the operations center. I put the weights, fuel and everything in the FMS. I then upload the .RTE file and it wont put the vspeeds or calculate altitudes. Is there something I am missing?

P3D V3. Can somebody please tell me why I can't get my mouse to hover over buttons and switch them with left or right clicks on the PMDG747. QOTS2? I thought it might be EZDOC V2 so uninstalled that and purchased and installed Chaseplane and yet I still have the same results! Even if Chaseplane is disabled. NGX and other aircraft work fine but everytime I load the 747 the mouse does not show the hovering hand. I am not within the headrest! When I first installed 747 in February it was fine Thanks Dean

I'm not sure if it's just me, or if others are having this problem, but when I print out the 747 v3 tutorial, all the images are much too dark. I solved this problem by meticulously taking each image and adjusting the levels in photoshop, saving the results as a separate PDF page, then binding them together into one document. The resultant prints were MUCH easier for these old eyes to read. If there is any interest, I would be happy to upload the PDF to the AVSIM library. Has anyone else had a problem with the images printing too dark? Dennis Trawick

So I spent hours today trying to figure out a problem with my install of the 747v3. I nailed it down to my PFC 737 Desktop Yoke. The 747v3 doesn't like my Yoke. When ever I set up the Elevator and Ailerons axis in FSUIPC using the PFC Yoke the Auto pilot continuously disconnects. If I change the Elevator and Ailerons mapping to my X55 Stick no problems. As soon as I change the mappings back to the PFC Yoke the problem returns. Ive calibrated the Yoke in Win10 and in FSUIPC. This problem only happens in the 747v3. I have no problems with the 777 or 737NGX. Any tips?

Just wondering.....my co-pilot yoke just sits there and bounces around. Right now it sitting in a full left turn or pointing to 9 o'clock position. I can move my yoke and then center it and yoke returns to 9 o'clock. Is this a sound driver issues.. Any ideas, Thanks, Bob M.

I'm a bit stumped on getting the weather radar to show precipitation. I have Active Sky 2016 running with Live Weather active. I've done a search in AS2016 to find somewhere that has heavy rain and stormy weather. I've then gone into FSX and loaded up the default PMDG 747 V3 (570 model) on the active runway at that airport so that the I'm ready for take off, engines running and all systems go. Outside it's pouring with rain, runway is soaked, visibility is less than 3 miles and I'm getting lightning flashes, result! Well, being more of an X-Plane user, I thought I'd be able to hold off buying the 744 for P3D, but having 'cut my teeth' on almost all the PMDG aircraft, I could resist no longer;-)))) However, I may have an issue with the Ops Center..... Is there meant to be a Repaint Manager for this aircraft? After updating the Ops center, I don't have the livery manager:-(

Could somebody kindly point me in the right direction, please. Powered by GPU(one side only), Hyd Pump #4 at AUX position, I was only able to open the Bulk Cargo door. I just could not get the Aft or Fwd Cargo doors to open. Was I doing something incorrect?

For users of Chaseplane camera. Have you disabled PMDG B744 turbulence settings (since Chaseplane has very similar ones) or do you do you keep both active ?

Hi there, i have found that all of a sudden I have no textures on the 747 I've reinstalled it twice, I even put in the repair disc for my FSX and I'm still getting nothing, I tried other planes (not Pmdg) and they worked fine.
