In addition, I always use ForeFlight when I fly in the real world and when I fly with X-Plane 11. Very recently, for some strange reason, when I use ForeFlight with X-Plane 11 my location keeps switching back and forth from my real world location to the location I’m flying in X-Plane 11 on a very frequent and extremely annoying basis. Sometimes ForeFlight won’t even recognize or follow my location on X-Plane 11. This is new and started recently. In the past I never had such problems, ForeFlight worked perfectly with X-Plane 11. Hi I’ve just set up xp11 with the rxp 430 and a realsimgear 430 box. It looks great and all the buttons and knobs work, but the panel navaids are not responding to it. This is true for all the planes I’ve loaded but to just focus on the default 172 I can get the NAV 1 localizer and glide slope to work with the rxp 430 on vloc but get zero response on rnav. Also the 530 and the 430 shown in the cockpit do not respond to the realsimgear buttons (I’m not sure if they should) and neither shows what I’m getting on the realsimgear 430 screen, the look like the X-Plane defaults. Has anyone had this problem ??

Quick question I couldn't find the answer to... When updating the RXP software, do I need to run the installer twice to update both the 430 and the 530? Or will updating one also update the other? I assume the trainer will be the same, but I wondered about licensing or the XP plugin. Thanks!

Hello. I just bought the 530 for XP11. It seems to be installed fine. When it loads however, I see following message in the boot section as well as under MSG page. "RXP INVALID LICENSE CONTACT VENDOR". The install app downloaded a lic file however I do not know where to put that. Thanks.

I have the vFlyteAir Piper Archer III v5 which supposedly can use the RealityXP 430 as a drop in replacement in the panel. But it just floats on top - it's not part of my 3D instrument panel How do I get it to actually replace the built in Laminar GNS430 - IN the panel?

What does one do when there are two different airplanes in the folder? For example the default 172 has a 530/430 stack plane and a G1000 plane. I have a specific RealityXP.GNS.ini for the 530/430 version, but I don't want it to load when I fly the G1000 version because it conflicts with the G1000. Do I physically have to rename/remove the RealityXP.GNS.ini when I want to fly the G1000 version? Would be nice if there was an option to name the RealityXP ini file after the .acf file so dirs with multiple aircraft could have different setups. Maybe that option exists? Thanks for the help.

At the Moment, I use 1 Computer with 4 Monitors attached (3 identical for the XP11 outside view, 1 for airmanager and RXP) That works, but I am facing severe Performance issues. SO, my idea is to have one powerful Computer with 3 Monitors and another Computer for my RXP 430W. Is is possible, to run the RXP430W outside of X-Plane on another Computer? Of course there is also a Kind of plugin needed, which connects to X-Plane

Hello, I just got the GNS530 and a RealSimGear bezel for my simulator. I am getting the following messages on GNS when it boots up: RXP Invalid License Contact Vendor. Then under messages I get PERS/HOME License Locked commercial use detected. Not sure what I am doing wrong. This is my home simulator! Can some one help me?

I can probably guess at the answer to this problem, but I figure I'd throw it out there on the outside chance that someone has solved this. Running AFL 172 with GNS530 v2.4.6. If I go into VLOC and manually switch VOR1 head to NAV (it won't switch on its own when switching between VLOC and GPS), I can track a VOR perfectly and the needle is spot on. However, if I pick a waypoint and go direct (or via a leg) in GPS mode, the needle stays dead centered and never moves. Having XP11 on monitor 1 full screen, and want the GTN on the 2nd monitor. How do I achieve that?

I purchased the GNS530 about a month ago. It has been working great. I just purchased the GNS430 and now I am having a problem. Most functions work on the 430/530 however when I press the NAV frequency swap it seems to be fighting the change. Sometimes it swaps frequencies ok. Other times I have to press the button several times to get it to lock in. Not sure if anyone has experienced this. I have the Reality XP GNS530W configured as my #1GPS in the stock Xplane 11 C172 and the Xplane 11 GNS430 is #2. I also have a Realsimgear GNS530 unit connected (works well). I have a current 1903 Navgraph database installed for the stock 430. When the Reality XP 530 is enable the stock Xplane 11 GNS430 will track the gps location changes. The display aircraft remains at the initial point. Changing directions seems to work. If I attempt to do a cross fill from the 530 to the 430, it get some coordinate values but not a proper flight plan exchange. I have the latest version of X-Plane 11 (11.30) running on Windows 10. I am flying the stock Cessna 172SP with G1000, and a RealSimGear (RSG) GNS430W using the latest Reality XP software (2.4.6) I used the Xplane Plugin Manager to turn On/Off the plugin for the Reality XP software. The RSG GNS430W is set up as GPS 1. When I do the systems check on the (hit Enter button on RSG GNS430W), the correct data shows up on the G1000, and the GPS CDI appears on the HSI. When I hit the Enter button a second time, the GPS CDI disappears. When cycling through the CDI source on the G1000, the GPS CDI flickers, but you cannot select to stay on the HSI. Good Afternoon members, The GNS 430 RXP won't allow me to dial in correct frequencies on COM 2 because it's doing 15khz increments and not 5khz increments on dialing in. So' I'm not able to put in the correct frequencies in my realsimgear device. Using XPlane 11.30. The defualt GNS 530 is dialing in correct in XPlane, but I'm using realsimgear in the 430 and is my primary com. Does anyone out there have a solution? I have Reality-XP GNS530 and GNS430 installed in X-Plane v11.31r1. Airplane is the default C172. In the standard setup of GNS530 as GPS1 and GNS430 as GPS2, everything works fine. However I wish to emulate the plane I fly for instrument training which has a single Garmin 430 with CDI plus glideslope. So I configured the plugins as GNS430 on GPS1 and GNS530 on GPS2, so as to connect the 430 to the upper CDI with glideslope. The 2D popup windows work OK (except the CDI button does not toggle the NAV/GPS selector). But the buttons on the upper GNS530 operate the lower GNS430 and vica-versa. Any explanation and fixes?

Just been doing some testing before releasing ver 1.6 of Bell 429 with RealityXP GNS 530/430 and both rotary knobs are not working in 3D cockpit, okay on pop-out window. Using latest vrsion 2.4.7.0. When to my backup and version 2.4.5.0 and they are working okay. Commands used which worked in the past. It is only the rotary commands, push buttons are okay. Hello All, Just purchased a realsimgear GNS 430. I use Xplane 11.30. I want to move RXP onto the realsimgear 430 but I do not see it in bitmaps/radios. Just the defualt GNS430 which works but I need to find the RXP file. Can't seem to locate it anywhere on my PC. The video from YouTube only explains the default radios in Xplane11. I need to find the RXP without the bezel and need to know the procedure to get it in the realsimgear GNS 430. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, Airman76

I recently purchased the G530 v 2 from RXP to replace the default G530 from the Cessna 172SP in X Plane 11. I have installed both the trainer and plugin and see the G530 listed as a plugin in X Plane, but I do not know how to configure the buttons on my hardware to control the RXP G530. I have a new Diagma simulator with the hardware for the G530. I had it working great with the default XPlane 11 G530. Do I need to remove the default X Plane 11 Garmin?

Hello Folks, first of all thank you for this awesome GPS. I am a proud user of 430 and 530 GNS. I love flying Helicopters around the World and for that I need current Database. In the 430 and 530 is Databse expired since around 2010. Is there an easy and kindly way to Upgrade to current Databases? I KNOW (!) there is a Thread for Upgrading but as a normal enthusiast without any experience it not readable 😄 So maybe someone can make a Checklist or Tutorial how (if it is possible) to Upgrade... Hi, I installed the GNS on the les saab sf340 for Xplane 11.30. It is working on the 3D cockpit but when I select NAV on the MCP it won't couple will the GNS and will try to command VOR instead of NAV even when in GPS mode. Any insights? Regards

I just installed RealityXP into XPlane 11.31 and I have a problem with the GNS430. The outer knobs where you mouse click is not allowing to advance the Mhz value in both com and nav.(117.50 - 118.70) Also the right knob is not letting me advance the airport letters or anything else. What could be the problem? All I get is the small circular arrow and not the large one when I move the mouse to the desired location. I do not see anything in settings or advance settings unless I'm missing something. Can anyone help? I'm ready to purchase the realsimgear 430, but I would like to resolve this issue first. The 530/430 crossfeed works flawlessly but now I'm bummed that I can't use VOR2 as a backup for approaches it has no glideslope! My goal is to be able to load RNAV on NAV 1 and ILS on NAV 2. How can I replace the second VOR with a working glideslope one just like the top one?
