RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Just bought and installed the 530 software Get an Invalid Licence message when Xplane starts. Need some help Regards Rodney

I am using the Reality XP 430W with XP 11.53r1, and am suffering from large frame rate hits when I open it as a "popout" window. I first noticed when using the JF Archer III that my frame rate dropped from ~ 39 to 22 when I popped out the 430W. I tried using the stock 172, and my frames went from 80 to 40! Is this typical? My system is a custom built PC with an I9-10900K, RTX2070 Super, a 5120 x 1440 monitor, and 32GB of D4-3600 RAM running the current version of Windows 10 Home and latest NVIDIA driver (466.47). I have also run a Garmin G5 gauge as a popout window, with minimal effect on frame rates. Any suggestions? Thanks, Scott

Using the latest non beta xplane 11 with the Carenado T210M. I just received my 750 and put it in the rig with the 430 (the 750 is all setup and appears to be working correctly). The Carenado T210M will swap the 530 for the 750 if its available. Everything seems fine on the 750 side but the 430 now locks up after a short amount of use (in my case I’m setup for an approach on the 750 so wanting to use the 430 to view the map and it just stops updating the map after a short time). This had been working fine with the 530/430 combo so something with the addition of the 750. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm running X-Plane 11 with RXP GNS530. RealSimGear GNS530 display is stuck in windowed mode. How do I exit windowed mode for full screen (Alt-Enter does not work)? Thanks!

Hi, I am following the instructions but when I open the XP11 and open the GNS530 it keeps opening as a separate window - not replacing the default gps Can you please help me? Thank you

Hello, I also posted this question as an answer to another post - I tried to delete this, to no avail, so apologies for the double post. I also have trouble getting any button to work in 3D (VC). According to the manual, I managed to get the 430 in the virtual cockpit of the standard Laminar C172, so that process worked. I also activated "use gps simulator commands" in the RealityXP menu for the 430. However, despite this, none still work in the virtual cockpit. The animations do not work (e.g. the rotary knob does not turn) and the areas of the clickspots partly change/disappear if "use gps simulator commands" is activated. Any help would be appreciated!…

I tried to run the GNS Trainer downloaded by RXP GNS 530W v.2 by itself. It (G530SIM.exe) would fire up, but I can't turn it on by pressing the Power/Com volume knob. Is this normal? Also, I was curious and ran WFDEprdct.exe...it says something like the almanac was corrupt, then updated even though I closed the dialogue boxes instead of clicking OK. Looks like these files were modified: 006-D0740-03.ini, GEOAlmanac.ini, and trainerShrFile. Does this affect anything? Thanks in advance for any answers....

Installed X-PLANE 11, RealSim Gear 430 box, and RealityXP. When we try to run the 430 box, nothing works. When we try to place the 430 data display on the 430 sim box (bezel?), we keep getting an INVALID LICENSE error message and all the buttons and knobs on the 430 sim box stop working - everything just goes dead. I've spent sever sessions with the tech support folks at RealSimGear and they said they haven't seen anything like this before. We've (phone sessions with tech support) uninstalled and reinstalled everything except X-Plane itself, we've re-validated the license, we've disconnected and reconnected the 430 sim box, we've re-booted the computer, etc., but not…

When trying to do an LPV with the autopilot in the default C172 the GS is not coupled when flying an LPV. Yes I approached via the IAF at correct altitudes and thus captured from below and NAV/APR/GS was active on the autopilot. But it did not start the descend as expected. Any ideas?

Hi-need a little help troubleshooting: First, I see the GPSS mode dataref is correct but it’s not staying on GPS course when selecting VLOC. Second, the CDI for 430 #2 is the previous flight plan from the underlying xplane430, not the RXP 430.

I tried to do a search but came up empty. Is there any way to "Pop" out a window without the bezel using X-Plane 11 and the RealityXP G530 and G430? I can do it using the X-Plane 11 G530. Thanks, Alex

Just purchased GNS 430 for xp-11 (and intend to purchase the 530 too). Installation was working (download of the Garmin sim), until the GNS 430 installment screen opened, asked me to wait while the program installed, and then froze without action. Waited about 20 minutes and nothing happening. Then tried reinstall from the install software that downloaded after the purchase. It would not recognize my order, although I have an account with F1 where the order appears. Have no idea what to try next. Tell me how and I'll send a screen shot of the installment screen that froze if that could help.

Hi despite following every guide I have found, and now clocking up between 20 and 30 hrs I cannot sort this. I have downloaded the 172 SP with 430 but I need to be using it with the RXP plug-in displaying the 430 in the panel. I have the RSG unit to control it with. I have followed to the letter the printed and online version of the tutorial for the Baron 58, testing on the Baron, and that does work work either. I am offering Cash to anyone who can sort it. Hi! Yesterday evening i've purchased the license for RXP GNS430W V2 for X-Plane. E-Commerce installer downloads the GNS installer, starts it, then 1) it can't download and install Garmin trainer because of error like "can't write files" or smth like this, when i press Skip, then 2) installation of plugin itself begins and ends immediately with the error like "files are corrupted". I had an issue with the 430 not showing up properly. I ended up uninstalling X-Plane from my C-Drive and re-installing on my D-drive. The RXP GNS 430W worked for a day. Now it comes up as invalid license. I cut and pasted the rxp folder into my D drive but still no joy. I have tried reinstalling it from the original folder I downloaded but no luck. I am very disappointed that there is no company support where it is possible to get direct support if the forums can't help. My GNS 430W has never worked properly in X-Plane 11. When X plane it boots up, there are two 430W that appear. The original one from X-plane and only the screen of the RXP 430. The controls affect only the RXP but the RXP does not appear within the bezel, but separately. I cannot slave the rxp to my primary VOR. I use the program to practice for real life IFR and it is useless like this. I have tried reinstalling everything but it still does not work. Would be nice to have an actual tech support person to talk with. Thanks.

I'm receiving traffic calls immediately after rotation and crossing landing threshold which I think are calls on myself. I've tried changing settings on the TCAD page without success. Can someone advise how to eliminate w/o disabling the entire system? Many thanks. X-plane 11 G430, WIN 10/64.

Hi, I recently bought the amazing Thandra Beaver for XP11 and it comes with a built in integration for the RXP GNS750, however not for the GNS530/GNS430. I tried to make a compatibility file according to the RXP Baron tutorial, however I realized that the Beaver does not save the screens of the GNS as other aircraft as it includes a special cockpit customization option. The developer also confirmed that as you can see on this thread: RealityXP GNS ? - Thranda DHC-2 Beaver - X-Plane.Org Forum (x-plane.org) I'd glad to know if we can make the GNS RXP to work with this aircraft Thank you for your time!

Does the RSG G5 automatically change waypoints from the flight plan when prompted from the RSG GNS 430 in Xplane 11. I have RealityXP installed and SIM innovation Air Manager. I have to manually change course heading in the G5 when waypoints change in the 430. In my real plane equipped with a 430 and G5 the waypoints change course in unison. Is there some input in RealityXP that I have to change to get what I want? Thanks, George C.

I'll want to pick up this question and add another one: Looking at HSI_source_pilot will only work if I just have one GNS/GTN, but I have two units, a GTN650 as NAV1 and a GNS530 as NAV2. Both are configured to work on the pilot side, as I'm using a Apsen EFD1000 replica as HSI which can at least in reality cope with two NAV/GPS sources. In that case, looking at HSI_source_pilot isn't sufficient: If I want the units to work correctly, I have to set the CDI sync feature of both units to "GPS -> SIM" because otherwise switching the one will automatically switch the other one as well. Hi There I just purchase the RXP GNS 530W/430W for X-Plane 11, the SW installation work as intended but for some reason for the pass few day, I start getting errors with the plugin, (not Loading) so i performed uninstall and reinstall and it work again but as soon I turn off X-plane it would not load so I have to do the same Uninstall it and reinstall not sure what is the issue here. anyone is having this issue please advise...
