How do I get the GNS430/530 integrated in the panel of the default C172 of XP12? Whatever I do it stays locked to the screen positon, not to the posistion in the panel. I wonder if anyone has a good solution to hugely outdated databases for the Reality XP avionics. I use both GNS430 and GTN650 and some of the approach procedures have nothing to do with those in the real world (especially, RNAV). I excited about Navigraph, but my hopes were quickly dashed when I discovered that they don't support Reality XP. What do you do? Do you just live with the 'fresh' dbs from mid 2007-10?

Hello, I am using the RealSimGear Garmin 430 and the RealityXP 430. When I turn the small button of the left rotary encoder, it is supposed to change the KHz part of the COM-Frequency. It does, but only in 25 KHz steps. The command, sent by the RealSimGear when using that encoder, is by default "sim/GPS/g430n2_fine_up=sim/GPS/g430n1_fine_up" and "..._fine_down", which produces 8.33 KHz-Steps on the X-Plane standard Garmin 430. When pushing the Encoder, I am able to change the NAV-Frequency. The default command works fine here. To force the COM-frequency change on the smaller encoder to be 8.33 KHz, I changed the command in the CommandMapping.ini (of the RealSimG…

I purchased the Reality XP GNS 530W/430WV2 for X-plane 11 to go in to the Thranda C208 Caravan. After installing it I followed instruction and went to the plug-ins to install. It installed as an add-on gauge. I thought it would replace the gauge. I don’t get the modern panel assistant like in a similar way as the GTN 750 does in P3D. It did not see where a Trainer downloaded or installed. I am looking for some help to get this installed. Thank for any help anyone can give

Hi, With Reality XP GNS 530 plugin (RxpGNS) enabled, VOR/LOC "CDI" (Course Deviation Indicator") and ("Glideslope"indicator) are unresponsive(frozen) when flying RNAV approach. With the same plugin disabled, it responds correctly. When flying "ILS" approach, same "CDI" works fine with RxpGNS enabled. This is the only issue. Everything else works great. Have tried several reinstalls.Fresh reinstall of XPlane too. XPlane 11 Realsimgear GNS 430 and GNS530 Help please! Thank you

Hello, my VNAV is not working in RNAV approaches. It works with the default X-Plane GNS and also with the RXP GTN but not with the RXP GNS. (same settings for both) For example, airport LHPR the RNAV (GNSS) Rwy 12. At the point PR020 in 2.100 ft the aircraft should start the descent. The RXP GNS show only LNAV and wont start the descent. The RXP GTN shows LNAV+V at is working. It tried with different airplanes and autopilots, always the same problem. There also no problems with RNP approaches, only with the RNAV. Does anyone have an idea? Greetings

I have installed the reality xp 530 into xplane 11 and it shows in my plug ins and comes on the screen but it only has FP PROC and Nav screens. Do I have a bad installation? how do I fix it.

I bought the GNS 530W plugin, and overall it works great. Except it causes a dramatic drop in frame rate as soon as it is enabled. I'm using it as a pop-out window with a dedicated display (w/bezel). I've tried the plugin in both X-plane 11 and 12. In x-plane 11, frame rate drops 15-25 FPS (from about 35 down to 15). In XP 12 it drops about 10 FPS. I read at least one other user had this issue in the forum, but there was no clear solution. Hi, I am running XP12b6. First question : I have the vFlyteAir Piper Arrow and RXP GNS340 is supposed to be integrated automatically to the panel, but it is not. What can I do ? I still have the default GNS 430 on the panel. Second question : I have no button on the RXP GNS 430!?! as the title says. 1) does it work identical in VR as in 2D? not a pop out panel but integrated in the cockpit. 2) is the overall graphics more crisp, text and bezel sharper than the default GPS? 3) is there a trial version so we can test and see if it works as expected? 4) I don't understand why the product doesn't come with an install utility at least for the default aircraft. and what is this nonsense of manual & tedious taking screenshots and manual editing of panel text files by the customer? there is a reason I don't use Linux but Windows. and the same questions for the 750 series. Took the plunge and purchased the 530W. Added it to the panel and everything seems to be working perfectly.... except for OBS mode in GPS. If I turn the OBS in VLOC mode, all works well. However, if GPS mode is selected, when I press OBS on the GPS, the course line appears from the waypoint, but turning the OBS knob in the sim, while correctly rotating the course card in the sim, there is no movement of the course on the GPS and thus the needle nor ambiguity indicator move on the VOR receiver. I've selected all the settings in Panel Instruments but still can't get the GPS to recognize OBS movement. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here. Tha…

Hi there, We're having an issue getting Reality XP GNS 430 talk to the stock X-Plane HSI. It works perfectly in the VLOC mode, but it refuses to work in GPS mode: a red flag pop ups on the HSI and CDI doesn't react to anything. We're using latest stable X-Plane 11. RealityXP GNS v2 2.5.1.0 (latest version). The issue presents itself in all stock X-Plane airplanes. I'm attaching screenshots that illustrate the problem a bit better. Hi, I do have a valid license. From Flight 1, I have the following product, RealityXP - RealityXP Garmin GNS 530 (XPlane). I have a valid order number and certificate. However, I don't know how to make it work again. I did have this working over a year ago, when I last used it. Probably and upgrade issue but now I get the following. I am using more current Jeppesen NavData files than the old ones coming with the Garmin trainer. Worked well until the last update, when suddenly the old files from 2015 reappeared. My path up til then was programData/realityxp/common/gnstrainer/db. What was changed and what is the path now where RXP aquires the navdata? Is there a way how I could undo the update to the former version of RXP? Flying with online ATC with old,outdated navdata is no fun at all!

I have been using the GNS 430 plugin for a while and it works great. I have an updated worldwide.bin file that it's been using with no problems. But I just downloaded the 530 because a couple aircraft I use didn't have a 430 in their panel, and now suddenly both of the units (430 and 530) are back to some 2016 database. I verified my original .bin file is still in place in the Garmin trainer directory. Anyone have any ideas? Please help! 😃 I absolutely "need" the updated database since I routinely run practice instrument approaches in my local area. Thanks.

Hi, On XP-12 gns 430w has a message about licence (invalid) even if I re-activated mine. I can use, anyway, the software. May you suggest any solution? Thanks

I have x-plane 11 and 12 on my PC, do I need multiple licenses if I want to run my 530 and 430 on both 11 and 12? Or will one purchase of a 530 and 430 suffice? Matt
