RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Having installed the GNS430W, and trying to enter a Direct To route, I can enter the first character (turning the small/inner knob on the right) but I'm unable to move to the second character turning the outer (large) knob. I try moving the mouse out to capture the large knob, but it only ever changes the inner knob. For the same reason, I cannot move between chapters/modes in the 430W. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

I have a strange issue with the RXP 530 and the JustFlight Arrow III with REP. RXP is configured to power on with the avionics bus. As you can see from the screenshot, the avionics bus is off (and the battery too). The RXP530 is powered up in spite of this. I also have the REP for other aircraft (such as the C172) and this issue doesn't occur on those planes. Any troubleshooting tips?

Can these Garmin Gauges be installed in any aircraft (In this case the Carenado 1900D and then popped out to a separate display?

Hello everyone, I am purchased and download RXP GNS 430 for my Xplane 11.I believe i followed all the installation instructions but I am still unable to see RXP GNS 430 under XP11 Plugin menu options. I have removed and installed several times but could not make it work. Can you guys please help me ? I have windows 11 .

I have noticed that both RXP GTN and GNS are not being rendered in external view. Is there a way to enable that? If not, is it possible that it, or option for it, could be added in the future? In X-Plane everything else in the cockpit keeps working properly when in external view, so the blank GPS stands out quite a bit. Also a small request, the GNS units scale using nearest neighbour scaling, which makes them look really sharp if you upscale them. Hello, Recently purchased them RXP 530. I had problems with the installer crashing during installation. Finally got it to install now I'm having problems with the RXP GNS causing the sim to crash. I can use it for couple of seconds before it crashes. If I don't use it the sim runs fine. I've even tried installing it on a fresh Version of Xplane 11 with no plug-ins all default. But still crashes. I'm really trying to get a hold of customer support. But I don't see any contact information on their website. If anyone can help out with either these things would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed and integrated the Reality XP GNS 530 for use with the Socata TB20 aircraft, however the large outer knob used to change the MHz values of the COM / VLOC does not respond - no matter where I locate my cursor only the KHz knob rotates. Have been unable to locate any solution in user manual or online. Any help would be appreciated.

After the windows 11 update to the release version my GNS 430 updates information on the screen at a very slow pace, this is a xplane 11 problem only, i have the GNS 530 and GTN 650 on P3D and its running the same as before. Any sugestions? Exemple

Hi all I'm using the RXP 530 on Xplane 11, Windows 10 and it crashes (screen goes dark) after about 10 minutes of use. The only way to get it back is to restart xplane. This happens in the stock 172 and the Carenado F33. I've turned off anti virus real time scan and a host of other non essential background programs, but its still happening Are there any log files that could shed some light? Hello, In reading through the RXP GNS530/430 v2 manual I'm not understanding a few things, if someone could help enlighten me I would highly appreciate it. First of all, the settings. There are all these device options and gauge options, it is my understanding that these are set in an interface menu; but I do not know where to find that menu. I'm trying to set these settings in the .ini file in my aircraft folder, but I don't know what specifics to type in, in order to bypass the 'menu' I cannot find. Has anyone figured out a way to use the Reality XP 530/430 in Air Manager with the 530/430 Bezels found in the community downloads? I can load the Reality XP into my Air Manager bezels but I can't figure out a way to make them talk. There is a setting in Air Manager for the 530 and 430 to "select developer" and it lists RealityXP as an option. But the buttons do not control the Reality XP Garmins. I'd really like to be able to use my Air Manager Knobster to turn the dials.

Hello, Not sure whether this is more a question for RealityXP or for Garmin/Jeppesen, but although I read lots of posts about updating the RXP GNS430 with the GTN trainer databases, I could not find detailed instructions about how to actually transfer real-world GNS430 data from a Jeppesen subscription to a desktop for use with RXP in XP11. There is a short section about this on the RXP FAQ section but that did not clear things up for me. I hoped to be able to download them to the desktop using the Skybound G2 USB adapter, but this does not seem possible. The reality XP GNS 430 appears to be responding incorrectly to XPlane zoom In/zoom Out commands: "sim/GPS/g430n1_zoom_in" and "sim/GPS/g430n2_zoom_out" Zoom In should reduce the range, Zoom out should increase the range. Easiest way to demonstrate is to put the Xplane and RealityXP 430s side by side. Then press the zoom in (down arrow) and zoom out (up arrow) buttons on the XPLANE 430. Hi, I had my rxp530 working perfectly in the realsimgear hardware in a duchess in xp11. I switched a/c to an airbus321 for a day then when I switched back the 530 wasn’t working. I see the window titled “GNS530 1 window” and the hardware is working when I check the device interface…. any idea what I did to mess it up or how I can reset it? my ifr renewal is next week and I need to fix this fast thanks Bill

I'm new to this forum and this is my first time posting. Can't seem to find the answer anywhere online. I am using a REALSIMGEAR GNS530 external unit. I can get the Reality XP GNS530XP to display on this other (RealSimGear) screen/unit, however the standard Xplane 530 is still showing within the Xplane (3D) cockpit display. It seems like it would be convenient to have the Reality XP version showing both on the external unit AND in the Xplane cockpit. Is it possible to display the Reality XP GNS530 within the Xplane cockpit GPS display (in addition to displaying it on the external REALSIMGEAR GNS530)? Thank you,

Hi, I use x-plane 11 with the reality xp gns530. So far, my loading times from the main menu to the flight have been between 7-20 minutes. Now I have set "Use Vulkan driver for faster rendering" in the X-Plane settings under "Graphics" and my loading time has dropped to 30 seconds. Since then, however, my GNS530 has unfortunately been displayed very distorted and illegible. see link: https://imgur.com/a/psP369B Unfortunately, reinstalling the GNS530 didn't help either. What can I do to get the display back to normal? Disabling the Vulkan drivers is not an option if it takes 20 minutes to load each time. Best regards, Jonathan

I have a Torqusim SR22 Entegra which comes with a pair of Garmin 430s. The supplied Garmin simulators are OK but some of the functions are missing. Is The Reality XP 430W product significantly better than the ones supplied by Torquesim or are they more or less the same? Can I add the Reality XP 530W to the Torquesim SR22 even though the aircraft does not have a 530? Thanks in advance for any help and thought on this topic.

Purchase the GNS 530 today for my X-Plane. Once it boots up I get a message "RXP Invalid License Contact Vendor". After that when I press the MSG key I get "RXP Invalid License, software license invalid stop using this product and contact the vendor". Then after a few mins the screen darkens and get this message in red letters "Reality XP Software expired or invalid" and then the 530 is no longer useable. Reloaded, rebooted, reactivated the key... any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks"

I'm afraid I'm fairly dense with these sorts of computer topics, but will someone tell me in step by step form how to properly set the RXP 430 or 530 into a third party panel? Or point me to where that is done already. I have found any of the help directly written by RXP is completely confusing and unclear for someone with no programing experience. Hi- as of the latest update Version 2.4.21.6, the OBS is no longer taking input from the course knob of the HSI (Torquesim Avidyne). I have the following set, and it switches the 430 to OBS mode as it should, but then it moves itself to a seemingly random course (about one degree per second until it stops), which I haven't been able to figure out the logic of (its different with each selected waypoint, but not the DTK), and I can't change it with the HSI course knob like I could before the update. Hi, I'm installing RXP GNS530 for the first time and having a bit of trouble getting the 530 integrated into the default Laminar C172. After installing RXP GNS530 into X-Plane, I'm able to open a popup window version of the display and it appears to work (albeit, the 530 runs very slow like others have reported under Windows 11). I followed the HOWTO for the Barron on how to integrate the display into the panel. After editing the .ini file and setting frame.rect = to the values I calculated, I could never get the display to show up on my 172 panel.
