RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Is it possible, or any suggestions on how to run Air Manager with RealityXP Garmin Sims on a second PC and then feed that video to 2 virtual monitors. That will leave my big machine to run the 3 4k TVs. Is it possible? Thanks in advance! - Robert

I noticed something weird with the RXP GNS 430 in the Carenado F33A. If I do an LPV approach, the autopilot will capture the glideslope but the glidepath pointer in the HSI is not visible. For an ILS approach on the contrary the glidepath pointer is visible and works normally. I am not totally sure that the cause of the problem is the RXP GNS 430 (the settings are pretty standard, by the way) but it would be good to have some suggestion... What could technically make the vertical CDI invisible for LPV approaches only, considering that the vertical guidance is actually there and it's working?

Installed the RPX 430 and some smaller airports are missing. I can see KBDL, KHFD but 42B, and 9B8 can’t be found. Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

For a while I have had the GTN system in X-Plane, and I recently purchased the GNS so I could practice for real flying. I followed the tutorial in the GNS' manual to get the system implemented into the plane; however, when I go into the GNS' settings to choose the button input (linked below) it crashes X-Plane 11 to my desktop instantly.

Hello, Does anyone know how to keep the info that gets inputted into the the GNS530 from automatically being inputted into the GNS430, like the flight plan etc? I though you would normally have to use crossfill if you wanted it to show up but it seems right now anything that is in my 530 is duplicated in my 430. I have seen some info in a few posts to turn off the automatic setting but I an not sure what automatic setting they are referring too. is this a Reality XP setting or some .ini file? Thanks for any insight you can give.

I just bought Reality XP and it's truly awesome except that no matter how much I follow the instructions in the manual, none of my flight plans are coming up on the GNS530. There is a shortcut option, which I tried as well as a general creation of a flight plan folder option. Also, the aircraft checklist is not coming up either, all of this with paying strict attention to the instruction manual. Can anyone help that might have had this issue or know how to get it going? After not running my SIM for a couple of months, I am unable to drag the popup windows of either my 530 or 430 to the REALSIMGEAR devices. The white windows bar is NOT visible and I am unable -even searching pixel-by-pixel to locate the INVISIBLE boxes to toggle the white bars to visible. It seems like every time I don't use my machine daily a config change such as this happens. I can't even figure out whether there has been an update to the GNS sw that has changed. Is there something that toggles these window-bar controls to transparent or invisible? XPlane 11 and Windows (and yeah, I'm not that familiar with recent versions of Windows..) This image is from the Torquesim Cirrus SR20 Avidyne aircraft for Xplane. I'm operating dual 430's from Realsimgear and the RealityXP 430 plugin. The good folks over at Torquesim tell me that the data references on the screen as indicated by the Nav, Bearing and Aux buttons are based on data their model receives from RealityXP. The HSI and data on the Nav, Bearing and Aux buttons should match and the bearing pointer on the HSI should point to the GPS waypoint KAND. It says it is pointed at KAND, but as you can see, the bearing is pointing at 2 degrees rather than 91. 91 is correct. The Nav button seems to work fine as long as you only try to use it with GPS1. I installed this update today. While working on some approaches, I noticed that several airports had disappeared completely from the GNS. It took me a while to figure out what happened: if anyone loses access to airports usually in their GNS database, it is because this update changes an environment variable to point at an alternate aviation database. From the sticky at top of this forum announcing 2.4.21.6, it clearly states "New: includes optional Aviation DB 1607." The will be defaulted to install. Spent a lot of time looking at this, following tutorial. no luck. The plane I use is XP11 C172 with single GNS 430 (XP11 C172 GNS430 + Comm/Nav Stack - General Aviation - X-Plane.Org Forum). The plane is identical to stock XP11 C172 but only has one GPS unit. When I look at cockpit image, there is no difference from stock C172. Plane Maker shows the same location. However, applying the same settings as for stock 172 does not work, and moving it up does not work either. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for help, DK

Hi, I am a very happy user of RealityXP in combination with a GNS530 and GNS430. My SIM-aircraft is a Diamond DA40-180 just like the real aircraft I am flying with the same avionic setup. I am flying VFR in Central Europe, home airport is LOAN. My questions are these: 1) in my flight region a lot of VFR-waypoints are not integrated in the Nav-Data of RealityXP and need to be created. Its been a little while since I installed my Reality XP plugin, should I be seeing 2 sperate trainers in my c:\program86\Garmin\GNS Trainer\GNS folder or just one? I think I may have deleted the trainer not really thinking it was something I needed a while back. My xplane 11 was starting to run slow. I removed it and reinstalled on SSD. I also downloaded and reinstalled RXPGTN 650. When I start a flight the GTN screen pops up but no power. Thank You

Followed config posted by ComSimPilot 11/28/18. Having Issues. The RealityXP GNS530 acts as a separate unit from the one in the panel. I copied the .ini file from ComSimPilot and some changes, but still not working. I can use the XPlane530 version just fine, but when switching to RelityXP version, can't get GPS to sync with the one in the panel. Radio tuning knobs work, flip-flop works, got VOR to track w/ OBS ... but still not right. I'm new to this, so struggling. Where can I turn for help? does RealityXP have a help line?

Hello. I use XP11.51, JF PA28 III and a Panel of Air Manager including Aspen 1000 PFD for IFR training. I have the problem that, when I use this together with RXP GNS530 the GS and LOC function of the Aspen is not working. If I use the native XP 530 this is not the case. Siminnovatons told me that this is a common problem with RXP and might be solved by the RXP settings. I could not find an issue like this in the forum. The RXP GNS 430W does not seem to update. Databases are from 2010. I really can't use it to practice instrument approaches, since the data is so old. How can the databases be updated? Thanks

Greetings, re the title, the 2D pop-up installs without issue but the 3D in the panel does not install for either G530 or G430. For the Laminar B58, I simply prepared a a RXP .ini from the Aircraft Config thread, dropped it in the aircraft folder and all was good, including the 3D panel. The same practice for the C90B does not yield the same results. The file does contain this instruction: (only copy-paste the parts required into your .ini file) Is there a different or separate .ini file from RealityXP.GNS? I have installed several RXP GNS for various aircraft in P3Dv4.5 and XP11 and not encountered this problem. Has something changed?

I need to figure out first how to actually get the GNS 430 into the panel on the AFL C172. So far I can only hover it onscreen. Can someone help?

Have an unusual problem. I can pull the RXP 530 into the realsim gear window and the Com and VOR controls work. None of the other buttons will work. Any ideas Thanks
