RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

I am trying to use RXP430 with RSG430 hardware. Running Xplane 11.55 on Win 10. The problem is no matter what I do, the Xplane 430 seems to persist, and it is the only one that I can pop-out to drag over to the hardware 430. Is there a way to tell Xplane to totally ignore the Xplane 430 and only use the RXP430? This used to work fine, but now it is a bit off a mess. TIA.

I have updated to the newest version and somehow OBS function is not available ever since. Can I go back to the previous version? Also is there a way to update the approaches to and departures procedures for a specific airport? Please help! Thanks in advance.

Longtime RXP user here stuck big-time on this issue: RXP430W in Xplane 11 on Windows 10 w/RXP hardware 430W. All has worked fine for a few years. Now I am suddenly unable to pop-out the RXP430 and instead what comes up when I click in the 430 window inside the avionics stack is BOTH the Xplane 430 AND the RXP430. And the issue is that I can pop-OUT ONLY the Xplane 430 and no matter what I do I cannot get the Xplane 430 to 'retreat' so that the RXP 430 can pop-up and then be converted to a pop-out. I had this working about two years ago and I have a personal license for the GNS 530 XP. It is working but I have forgotten how to work it and I am looking for the "help" or users manual. Thank You Tom

I just purchased and downloaded and installed the Reality XP version of the GNS 530. I have X Plane 11 and was able to start the plugin. I can change settings etc. I was even able to pop it out, as that is how I intend to use the plugin. However, even though the rotary encoders can be changed via mouse or touch, NONE of the buttons respond. What I have on the screen is a message with a flashing "OK?" that is evidently awaiting a response which I can not give, How to get started here? Thank You Tom

I am considering buying reality xp for the gns530 today. What im curious about is if it can still be "Popped out" like the stock Xplane12 gps can be so that i can move it over to my RSG gns530. Also i need to be able to still remove the bezel and the white bar at the top of it if its in popped out windowed mode. Really like the splash screen garmin load . thats literally the reason why i am interested in buying the product. :) thankyou!!

hi everybody, i made a new reinstallation of 750 and 530 products for xp11. the 750 installation was done without problems. but when i try to reinstall the 530 using the flight1 username and password i get the message "there was an error retrieving data from the server etc etc". some help please? thanks

Has something changed in recent updates to the GNS 530/430 V2 500 variant? Last summer, I did a complete rebuild of my Windows 10 operating system. I reinstalled both P3D V4.5 HF2 and P3D V5.3 HF3. I installed my RealAir Duke B60 V2 in both with the latest RealityXP GNS 500 variant per the instructions and modifications provided by Bert PIeke. It was working in both versions of P3D. However, I did not fly the Duke again until last week. In the interim, I did multiple updates to keep Windows 10 up to the latest version. I am getting a virus warning off Windows defender in W11 for both the 530 & 430 downloads for XP12. Id this a known issues and can it be ignored?

I am a new user. I can use the GPS in a real aircraft but not this simulator GPS. My license is valid, and the screen pops up with the ability to enter the menu with the mouse. I can get into other menus with the mouse. However, the simulator does not respond to any keyboard commands that I give it. None at all. I can not enter a way point or anything else. The manual, which I have and am reading, does not mention how to activate the keyboard. It only mentions some keyboard shorcuts. Thank You Tom

I would like to purchase the 530 but wonder whether this will be compatible with XP12 whose release is imminent. I'd hate to purchase it only to have to make another purchase in a few weeks time! Does anyone have the answer or should I just wait and see?

I installed the new update today in X-Plane 11. I now get Invalid License error message. I had back in 2020 when purchased followed advice to put RXP directory in C:\ root vs Programs. I see the lic files there but also not after the install todaty, there is an RXP file in Programs(386). I tried just copying them there but no joy. I have my Flight 1 purchase certificates, order #s (530 & 430) which I can provide via private communication if needed. Please advise how to resolve.

Got the 530V2 to load but the database in very old. At my home airport, KHHW - the approach procedure in the 530 is a NDB approach which no longer exists. Ok - I'm not a software engineer etc. Just a pilot working on my instrument rating. I have downloaded the new version of the Reality 530 and have literally spent hours trying to get it to work in the standard X-Plane 172 with the G5's installed. I have tried re-installing the Reality 530 several times, but I cannot get it to work. I have the RealSimGear 530 desktop unit. I just purchased a Real Sim Gear 430 GPS and also purchased the Reality XP - RealityXP Garmin GNS 430 (XPlane) software. My Real Sim Gear 430 GPS display reads in red, "Reality XP Software EXPIRED or INVALID" but I just bought it and when I click on "Updates," it states that my software is up to day. I have Windows 11. XPlane C172 with GNS530 and GNS430: Realsimgear 430 window shows Initial start screen with blinking "OK" Prompt. Does not respond to commands. "XPlane" 430 screen shows response to Realsimgear 430 button and knob commands. Realsimgear Device Interface shows appropriate Realsimgear 430 commands. GNS 530 works fine. Trying to buy the reality-xp 530 and 430 simulations for xplane. But if I try to download the installer, I get a windows warning saying can't download - virus detected. Anyone else seen this?

Hi guys I'm using RealityXP GNS530 and 430 on a Cessna Cockpit that I developed since XP11. It works like a charm, using also Traffic Global, no problems at all. Under XP12, when I select the TCAS option of Traffic Global, I get a sim crash, and the last 2 lines of the log file are. [rxpGNS]: Dataref 'sim/cockpit2/controls/flap_ratio' has been replaced. Please use the new name. --=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: rxpGNS}==-- So, as that exist differences in the datarefs it needs to be changed. Anyone knows if rxp is going to support xp12 ? Thank you Paulo

PROBLEM: In flight (or on the ground) there is no GPS location data being received by RXP GNS 430 from X-Plane. I was hoping someone could help me with an issue with the 430W V2 and xplane 11. Loading a SID into the flight plan, selecting the label for the SID and pressing enter causes xplane11 to crash. Has anyone experienced this or is anyone able to reproduce the problem? Any solutions or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Bought Reality XP Garmin GNS 430W V2 today. Install has been frozen with no progress bar showing for well over 30 minutes. How to proceed? Cancel and try reinstall? As a side note it is an EXTREMLY clunky ecommerce wrapper buy process. Other wrappers that handle purchase and online software delivery are far smoother. One example is Cleverbridge. Abbott

I have been looking at RealityXP Garmin GNS v2 (X-Plane) install screen for over 30 minutes now and the progress bar has made ZERO -- 0% -- nada progress. After the jenky eCommerce software thing, all I can say is offensive initials not allowed???? Is this normal?
