RXP GNS 530W/430W V2

Hello, I've tried searching but with no luck. I have installed a RXP 430 into my Carenado 210 in XP11. It seems to be working, however, I am unable to adjust the course knob on the HSI when the RXP 430 is running. I have tried different settings with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

A few months ago I purchased the RXP GNS530 for P3D. A few weeks ago I decided to make a switch over the XP. I am not a fan of the default GNS530 after being spoiled with the RXP. Is there any way to have my license transferred over to XP11 to get the immersion back? Regards, Collin

hello everyone, I've just bought two Garmin GNS 430&530 Reality XP new generation to fly away in Xplane 11 with aircarfts that are equiped with. Flying in real conditions with Garmin's is really awesome...till I discovered that they are completly out of date...with navdata. I use FMS Manager, Navigraph charts, pilot2ATC, simbrief etc... When I import flightplans made with softwares I mentionned above, "locked waypoints" message appears and I can' use them. when comparing flightplans made with Reality XP and those made with updated softwares ( 2019 ), navdata in RXP are out of date...Does anybody have an idea to suggest because I'm trying to find a solution to …

Hello All, Not sure what happened, but for some reason my setup (B58) got messed up. I have this G530 external hardware which I connected via SimVim, had no issues ever since I start using it. Yesterday I/m evoking the popup window it pops up but lost control, and only the 3D is responding ( properly) to the device buttons but nothing on the popup window which display the RXP Splash window and the okay is flashing Any thoughts ?? I am using AirManager together with RXP GNS430. AirManager also has an instrument imitating a GI106 CDI. But, it seems not to work perfect with the GNS. For example,, at startup the GNS tests the CDI showing both needles half deflected. But in my panel the CDI shows only the localizer needle defelcted. GS does not move. Perhaps, i only have to change the dataref used by the AirManager Instrument. But which datarefs is/are used by the GNS? And - does that change if you flip from VLOC to GPS? In real world, the GNS makes the lateral and/or GS-signal simply by itself from an ILS or from the GPS-derived position. Can someone helP?

Hello everyone: I read here in the forum that GNS 430 will be updated to include TAWS just like GNS 530, the question is: When?... If that update is not close, is possible change the licence from 430 to 530?... (i already own GNS 430). Thanks

I'm a student pilot. My trainer is a Cessna 172/R equipped with a Garmin 430 GPS. I have been using X-Plane 11 to augment my real-world training. As my CFI has been showing more and more what can be done with the 430 I'm realizing that the 430 that comes with X-Plane is missing a fair number NAV pages and features. I have been considering buying the Reality XP 430 but I have a few questions: My understanding is that the Reality XP 430 relies on the Garmin simulator which has a very old NAV database that can't be updated inexpensively with subscriptions like Navigraph which I have. Hello, I'm having nothing but trouble with this. I've copied your file and dropped in the aircraft as RealityXP.GNS with an .ini extension just like many other aircraft. In this case nothing changes and I feel I am overlooking something as it has been a long while since doing one of these. In the G430 config, I deleted the G530 info and left the G430. Either way, nothin changes. Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm running X-Plane 11.36r2 and RXP-GNS430 2.4.15.0 on Windows 7, no other plugins (other than the standard X-Plane Lua one) All is fine until I try to access the GNS430 Settings from the X-Plane Plugins menu item - causes an X-Plane crash Has anyone else had a similar issue? Terry

Hi, I'm strongly considering buying Reality XP GPS and a RealSimGear display unit or units to go with it. My question is as follows: Most if not all (new) planes will state that they support the RXP 750 unit. As I like 'older' stuff more I'm wondering if that automatically means it will support a 430/530 unit too ? I am currently particularly interested in the Carenado F50 and FlyJSim Q400 legacy. Will these work with integrated 530's ?

Greetings folks, So I have the following FPL; KTIW->CARRO->KPWT. So I save and then load the FPL. I decide that I want to add JUVGA between CARRO and KPWT. How would I go about doing that? I've searched on YouTube and the general Interwebs and didn't seem to find anything specific to what I want to do. (Admittedly I didn't spend *that* much time, but at lease I made the effort. 🙂 ) If anyone has any feedback it'd be truly appreciated. Thanks, -Matt

Hi... can someone tell me which Garmin GNS Trainer is required for RXP GNS 530W/430W V2? I'm asking because as I know the Garmin 400W/500W Trainer runs on Win10 64bit but the Garmin GNS 530W/430W Trainer does not. Before I buy RXP GNS 530W/430W V2 I want to make sure if I can use it with my setup or not. I run X-Plane 11 on a Win10 64bit Version. Many thanks for your help!

In real world, I can set an OBS on the CDI and the GNS430 shows the magenta/white line. 1. Set a direct-to, let's say an airport 2. Press OBS-button 3.With the OBS button you can now turn the magenta/white line as needed, for example adjust it to the runway. Same procedure is used for a holding But this seems not to work on my Sim. Is there a setting needed for this ?

Do all the realityxp products for xplane support moving the GNS devices outside the simulator to another monitor as well as using touch input?

Hello, I am somewhat confused here. I have already purchased and are using the realityxp for my simwearkits 530 hardware and recently purchased the realsimgear 430 and wish to add in to my cockpit build radio stack. When I go onto realityxp website they are offering a special price of 24.99 to add a second GNS product but when I go to purchase the coupon isn't valid. Anyone run into this? Also, has anyone had any conflicts with combining a realsimgear product with a simwearkits 530? Thanks! t28pilot

Hi, I started this topic here because it is connected to both products. I'm the developer of the Carenado C152 Unofficial update. A while ago I added RXP GTN650 as a new device. But now I'm just about adding a GNS 430 too (only RXP not X-plane default), see sample screenshots here. All the different layouts are configurable by a plugin system, so either GNS530 (X-plane default GPS), GNS430 (RXP) or GTN650 (RXP) can be selected as active layout, in any case the GPS should be the unit1. The "bare metal" GNS430 has support for several external Annunciators, such as GPS/VLOC MSG TERM / APPR INTEGRETY WPT Typically those are lights combined with 2 buttons like the mid-continent-annunciators. the buttons should be not the problem, as they are already supported. Are the annunciators also supported as datarefs? I do not find corresponding datarefs in X-Plane Nico

So I'm trying to find the right combination of setting to match how my real aircraft works with the 530. Here is what I need to do. I need the gps to run the auto pilot, but also allow the autopilot to fly a radial off the vor/hsi (Connect gps to autopilot) I need the gps to talk to the hsi when in GPS mode. (Connect GPS to HSI) I need the obs button to work and be connected to the course selector on the hsi. (Connect hsi/obs (input)) I need to be able to read bearing indicator information for both vor's and gps waypoints regardless of the CDI mode (GPS or VLOC) The issue is with a combination of the last two options. Hello, I have two questions, the first is, is there a way to determine from dataref's which mode the CDI button in is in? VLOC vs GPS? Second, it seems that when I have "Connect CDI mode to NAV/GPS Switch" enabled, the gps/nav switch constantly flicks back and forth between gps and nav, making my cdi but tick back and forth. It's as if RXP is trying to enable one feature and xplane is trying to make it revert back. Any idea how to fix this? Cheers.
