I am trying to use 'customa commands' as of page 11 from the manual in combination with Teensy FlightsimControls. But it does not work :-( Q1: How is the "suffix" meant? Adding a _1 to the commad? e.g.: RXP/GNS/CFLP_1 ? or RXP/GNS_1/CFLP? Q2: How do I use these commands? This does not work so far : FlightSimCommand GPS_R_outer; setup() { GPS_R_outer= XPlaneRef("RXP/GNS_1/GPS/OUTR_CCW_1 } loop() { GPS_R_outer=1; } I do not even see any communication happening in the communication windows

I have purchased the RXP GNS430W V2 for Xplane. That works and I have managed to have a recent database. Fine. The problem is: My RXP GNS430W does not want to fly LPV apporaches. I guess, this is due to the firmware version the GNS trainer uses. It says 3.30 for the MAIN Software and something 2.x for the GPS. Is there any way to update the Main SOftware to a version which is LPV capable? I think, the latest software is 5.30 or above. At least my real metal GNS430W has this and his definitley capable of LPV. Greetings Nico

...not sure what is going on, but for some reason I can't get read of the Bezel ( Nobezel=true) .. works fine on the C172SP but not on the Baron. Any ideas Tnx in advance

Hi there, I've been recently trying to use the GNS trainer (v3.30p) on my system (Windows 10 Pro (10.0.17134), x64, up to date), and for some reason I can't start up the unit by clicking on the COM volume knob. The speed lever and other buttons (AP) respond correctly. Is there a compatibility mode or a trick I should use? The GNS works beautifully in X-Plane, but sometimes I'd just like to test it without running the sim. Any ideas?

Thank you for updating! The 430 v2 is like the real thing, so awesome! When using as NAV2 and controlled via the X-Plane's GNS430-1 I encounter some problems like I can switch frequencies with X-Plane's GNS430-1 but the display (NAV, NRST, etc.) need to be changed by X-Plane's GNS430-2. Ok, not the way you usually do it, I understand. And a different (easier?) issue: When completely switching to NAV2 and control by X-Plane's GNS430-2 I can use all know and dials, great! Just one single thing: Pressing the "nearer & farer" knob on the right upper side, it works the opposite way, means showing the map nearer is pressing the arrow up button to be farther away…

Hi, I have two PCs in my setup that are networked. The first runs XP11 Beta20 and the LHS, RHS and forward view monitors. The second runs Air Manager and two MIP screens to display the gauges. I want to install the 530W onto the second PC. Can the 530W software read details from the remote install of XP11 or does the software need to be installed on the same PC as XP11 to function?

Hey, Has anyone tried to install the 430 alongside their 750 config. I've tried a few times now and it just isn't happening.... The 430 shows up in a window but not in the aircraft panel. Its just the standard X Plane unit. Any idea's are welcome

I updated to v2.4.2 430 WAAS now the scrollwheel does not work on any of the instruments i.e. to change the altimeter setting, radio freq. etc. I am using the Carenado F33 bonanza for XP 10 in XP11. Before upgrading to this version the scroll wheel worked. When I disable RXP the scrollwhell works again. any help would be appreciated.

Hi, There seems to be an issue with newer birds which are using the new manipulators in X-Plane and RXP. The knobs of the GNS530 3D bezel don't work, when the RXP plugin is used. I see this issue with Carenado DO228 (new manipulators) Alabeo Mooney M20R (new manipulators) Justflight Turbo Arrow III (new manipulators) Default Baron58 (new manipulators) The knobs are working with Carenado Aero Commander 500S (old manipulators) Carenado Cessna208 (old manipulators) Carenado King Air B200 (old manipulators) I use the newest version of the RXP GNS on XP11.11r2 and I think my RXP.ini files are ok, since there are some model…

Hi there, at first I am sorry for new topic, but I am little bit frustrated from this situation. I've tried almost everything to use the RXP GNS 430 in Felis Tu-154, but I still can't find the "right magic combination". Is there anyone who successfully uses this combination? So Tu-154 and RXP GNS430. When I want to follow GPS, the airplane turns completely off the track. CDI is still bumping, but the biggest problem is that plane don't follow GPS track, althrough in version 2.0.1. it should be possible to use third party plugins for navigation. At Felis part of forum they answer me, what must be set in Tupolev, but when I set it it's still doesn't work together.…

I can confirm that this version fixed the issue I've had on my Carenado Bonanza V35 - "GNS overrides A/P and HSI when loaded with some aircraft". Worked perfectly without having to go the plugins menu to disable/enable the plugin. Thanks for taking care of this. Mark

This was working... and now it is not so I'm sure it is something I did. For the life of me, I can't get the VLOC Identification Window (the window right below the VLOC Frequency Window) to show anything but Distance. Oddly, if I change to GNS 2 and turn off GNS 1, it appears fine. Thus, I'm sure it is a setting I just can't figure out how to enable/change. Thanks for any help, Paul

This seems like an easy question but I cannot find a direct answer. Does the Reality-XP GNS 530 for X-Plane 11 drop into the default 172 virtual cockpit with no muss or fuss? In another thread I found a panel mod for the default 172 with both the 530 and 430 but I can't find a FAQ or anything that talks about just the 530 in the default 172.

Hi, I've asked about this issue a few times in the past, but I came across some info that may help eliminate the problem once and for all. The issue is when I start X-Plane 11 RXP GNS 430W starts up in its own window just fine. When I enter a fix to fly to, or setup a GPS approach and hit "Nav" on the auto pilot, the annunciator shows that the auto pilot is armed, but not coupled. Similarly, the auto pilot indicator lights flash confirming that its armed and not coupled. This only happens when the RXP GNS 430W is in GPS mode, not VLOC, which couples properly. After installing the latest ver 2.3.9 the RXP GNS530 no longer seems to react to any autopilot input ie Nav mode, Apch mode. etc. I was having trouble with the Airfoil labs C172 that no one else seems to be having, but now this issue has grown to where there seems to be no interaction with the device and the airplane in any A/C including the default. Where as before the update at least the default A/C would work. I do have the GNS530 set as the master with all options enabled. Win 10 64bit and the latest non beta Xplane 11 update. Thanks, Steved
