Hmm ... Okay, I found the process of working out the buttons an knobs an interesting challenge ... So in that respect it was worthwhile, however you would do your customers an enormous favor by documenting that, since I did not see it in the install doc and I in fact just looked at it before typing this reply ... :) I still cannot make the autopilot "nav mode" work with any of my planes, and I think I have tried every option in .ini file that seems even vaguely related ... Hi, I realize this might not actually be an "RXP" problem, but I updated XP and wasn't able to start a flight successfully until disabling the RXP plugin. However, I still had issues afterward in that I couldn't use the button to disable the VR headset, and after disabling it through a VR menu got a CTD. Just reporting...

Forgive me if this question has already been answered somewhere in the forums. Do you have to buy the 530 and the 430 separately if you want to have the flexibility to switch or run both at the same time stacked? ($49 bucks for the 430 plus another $49 bucks for the 530?) It is not clear in the purchase web page. Hi, I just purchased the RXP530 for my Malibu hardware panel. I've noticed the following datarefs (there may be others) are not being written by the RXP530 although they are written by the stock XP 530. This is causing some issues during general navigation and LPV approaches with my Air Manager Aspen EFIS. Hello, I just recently purchased the RealityXP 530 and don't believe it is functioning properly. I also have simwarekits 530 hardware installed and it works great with XP stock 530. But after discussing the RXP with others, I made the purchase. I am flying the Carenado Navajo. I can get the 530 repositioned onto the SWK's 530. However, I do not see anywhere how to allow the rxp 530 to intercept "all of the default X-Plane GPS commands". Also, how do I know if I properly installed the RXP? The last screen that came up froze up and didn't finish....so I just closed it out thinking that it may have installed. Please help. Scott

Hello, I recently, yesterday, purchased the rxp530 for my cockpit build and nowhere can I find how to intercept all of the default X-Plane GPS commands like the directions state. Background: I purchased simwarekits stand alone GPS, assembled the kit and want to control the 530 through the simwarekit's buttons. It works through X-Planes's standard 530 but not the rxp 530. For reference the simwarekits 530 can be located here http://www.simwarekits.com/. Quite a new remarkable stand alone GPS unit. You buy the kit, have the parts 3D printed locally, assemble it yourself and bingo! Close to the real thing! Please help! Scott

Hello, Thank you for the release of this fine tool for Xplane. I am currently flying the Airfoil Labs C172. Conducting an instrument appch- type LPV- shows the lateral and vertical deviation bars in the appropriate VOR gauge. I have the RXP GNS 530 setup to automatically tune/connect the GPS to the VOR indicator, connect GPS to autopilot, connect CDI mode to NAV/GPS, as well as RXP GNS 530 as master. With the autopilot engaged and while in Nav mode, the A/C flies as predicted. Once the GNS switches from TERM mode to LPV mode I activate the apch mode on the C172 autopilot. The C172 continues to follow the lateral deviation indicator but does not follow the …

...okay. So I had to reformat and re-install WIN10 (Head ache), XP is intact-ed cuz it's on separate SSD. The G530 doesn't function (Obviously) I notice that I can't find the installation guide. I'm getting a weird issue when I use the GNS430 with the Carenado B200 for XP11. Once i have engaged the battery and avionics switch in order to setup the flight plan, all the switches of the aircraft won't work anymore. Hello, So I decided to treat myself with the G530W. & I think I got my self in some troubles. (-: I installed the G530 & got the Garmin Trainer Data too I have GPS made by DesktopeAviatore and I managed to assign all the knobs and buttons respectively by using the stock G430 Joystick Commands, (For some reasons LR did assign knobs & buttons to the G530) so no mouse / KB clicking, which is great Now I nee to swap the stock G530 in the C172SP, with the RialityXP G530W, & since I'm experimenting with VR I would like to have it integrated into the 3D Cockpit/Panel. Does anyone have the 430 working in place of the default 430 bezel in the Dreamfoil Bell 407? I can't seem to get it work.

Ok, the panel config for the default 172 shows the panel placement for the 530 as: frame.rect = 1,1023,520,390 Let's stick with that one for now. For the 530, the Panel.png file shows a left of 1 but ALSO a top of 1, rather than 1023, as shown above. What am I missing here?

Hi all, The newest update (which is great since we can pop out the gauge now) of the Reality XP GNS 430 won't couple with the autopilot in GPS mode but does couple in VLOC mode. So if I fly a GPS approach to an airport and hit the "Nav" button on the Saitek autopilot, the "NAV" button blinks and the annunciator shows that its armed but not coupled. If I continue to the Final Approach Fix and hit the "APR" (Approach) button then both the "NAV" and "APR" lights blink and the annunciator shows that the approach is armed but not coupled. Interestingly the simulator responds as if it was properly coupled. When I fly an ILS and I switch from "GPS" mode to "VLOC" mode,…

I just installed the config for the ASDG super cub and the garmin appears correctly. When I click on the screen both the RXP GNS430 and the XP default GNS 430 pop up. Any way that this can be prevented. It only occurs with the ASDG super cub, all of the other aircraft work properly.

I'm struggling with getting things to work as I expect... I can certainly copy and paste from some posts in the configuration thread, but I'd like to know what each setting in the .ini file does. For example, the Centurion II starts with two 430s open on-screen, but the ones mounted in the panel aren't connected. I'd like to find a description of each function to learn how to actually fix this instead of experimenting/guessing... TIA Andrew

I purchased the above software on 12-7-2017 (latest update). Anti-virus software turned off. Everything loaded fine into the proper files, including the Garmin lite trainer. However, I got a dialogue box at the very end of the installation that said: "Please wait while setup installs Reality XP Garmin GNS vs (x-plane) on your computer." Completely frozen at this point and even the cancel button wouldn't work. I had to kill it with Task Manager. However, it appeared to have loaded anyway, except in a crippled version that didn't work properly (e.g., dial failed to advance the cursor when putting in a direct-to destination). Hmmm... Thought I knew how to do this, but can't quite figure out... GPS 1 (any aircraft, either 530 or 430) works the HSI just fine. However, I can't get my GPS 2 (a 430) to control NAV 2. Basically, nothing happens in self-check, and nothing happens when I tune a VOR. I know it's basic, but what am I missing? thanks
