I have created a flightplan including SIDs and STARs but NO other waypoints (its a short flight). When I export and select MultiFormat Flight Plan and select MSFS PMDG 'format' and export the .rte file only contains the departure and destination airports ie NONE of the SID and STAR data 9is there. If I add a fictitious waypoint (ie ) and export then not only does the .rte file contain the fictitious waypoint, the SID and STAT 'waypoints' are added. However not all waypoints for the STAR are added only the first waypoint for the STAR (the actual name of the STAR which display on screen in the flight plan as 'track to fix' Is this normal? I…

If I add custom points to plan by right click and "add position to flight plan" option, is it possible to move this marker via the mouse somehow. I only found the way to edit the LAT/LONG and no way to drag the point to another location. Is it possible?

Hi. On March 1st vPilot removed the option for quickly file a flie plan especially important for VFR flights. Now you need to export to simbrief, correct things there, file from there, go to the vatsim flightplan website and confirm it. On Vatsim Germany board one has posted a link which can be modified to include a flightplan in a very similar way as Little Navmap exports it to simbrief. I would like to encourage the development to add such an option. Now that the announcement has been made that the great addon program "Transmitter" is closing down, is there a way for Little NavMap to create a method for Multiplayers to be able to link up to see each other as we fly in our groups? This is so important to be able to keep using LNM for multiplayer group flights. I realize there is Volanta but that is not quite the same.

It's been a while since I've done it but darned if I can remember how. How do I undock or pop-out the map portion of LNM? Thanks..

Hi. I love little navmap. An awesome app! But my flight simulator is crashing when I use any little navmap 2.8+. How to reproduce: - start in an airport (I'm using the a320 fbw) with the zoom all in - after the take off the simulator crashs after 1-3 min If I dont zoom in at the airport everything goes fine but if if I zoom in during the flight it crashs sometimes too. It crashed about 10 times on 2.8.8. I downgraded to 2.8.7 and crash a few more times. Now I'm running the 2.6.9 and its running smooth. Does LNM read scenery that is disable in AL?

In little_navmap_navigraph.sqlite boundary geometry data, How can I parse this datas by python? Because I want to add some airspace in it. I have already try to use python(shapely) wkt to parse, but it seems not this format.

I installed MSFS in a new directory and now LNM can't find it. how do i tell LNM where to look?

Hello everyone, I have EDDM from world update XVIII and I use Little NavMap 3.0.12. In Little NavMap when I go to EDDM, I have a "huge" white zone, If I remove the folder "microsoft-airport-eddm-munich" no more white area, if I put it back: white area. I was wondering if it's possible to search for parking facilities or stands at airports? Also, I was looking at past suggestions about adding a taxi routing/aid facility to LNM, which would be a brilliant addition and wondering if it's still completely off the table? Would be very helpful to just type in taxiway instructions and stand number from ATC into a dialog box and have it auto-route you from current pos on rwy exit to parking stand. I know I'm dreaming but it would elevate LNM to a whole new level. 🙂

Hello, with OSM at least if I zoom in all the way the plane/heli icon is not scaling properly. Only testing now with helis but reporting just in case.

How would one move the aircraft off center and still have the map follow the aircraft WITHOUT recentering? Use Case: Would like to be able to place aircraft in upper right map corner and keep it there while also having the map follow the aircraft at the spot that it is on the map and not recentered. By centering the aircraft automatically, one has half of the screen dedicated to the completed part of the flight plan; which in most of my cases is rather wasted map space. Thanks.

Hi recently got into flight simulation and was recommended this tool. I have a rare problem when I installed it on Ubuntu 24.04. LNM cant find X-Plane 11 The strange thing is that it has no problem finding the XP12 demo I installed. The demo is not from steam and it is sitting on the Home directory. I have read manuals, uninstalling and reinstalling both XP11 and LNM several times, googled for it but no luck. Also created a symbolic link from the steam directory to Home directory but again no luck. If anyone has any clue of what could be going on, or any possible workaround It would be very welcome.

After update to latest version, I can't show the green ILS glideslope into airports with ILS. The option to display is greyed out in the menu. Pity, I found it so useful. Any help?

I love LNM. Have been using it for longer than I can remember. For the last few releases I have noticed a couple of things that don't work for me so I use an older LNM version instead. The ILS feathers don't appear unless the "Show Airports" is also enabled. In past releases, the ILS feathers showed on my plan without the entire area airports enabled. On a old slow laptop it makes a difference. During any one flight, the screen on my laptop goes pale white while the circle of hope appears. It seems LNM is trying to load something over the LAN but hangs up. This happens often and is very distracting. If I replace LNM latest version with v2.8.10 that I have h…

Hi there. Sorry for my bad englisch. I am not native. What´s happend to me? Running Little Navmap with the newest Version of Open flightmaps. Changed the AIRAC in the -dgml-file to 2411 and the expire time to 86400. Also deleted the cache in Little Navmap. But it started allways in a blackscreen on the Equator. Yes, when i move the map to Europe and change the view near to the ground, i can see the Airport and the controllzones. But, only in a way, that is to far detailed. I've got a collection of MSFS POIs from https://flightsim.to/file/81114/littlenavmap-msfs-poi-s, and I wish to visit these POIs in the shortest time. Is there a quick way to generate a route along all these waypoints automatically? (Not strictly need to be "shortest path", but as short as possible is welcome, since the scenery loading cost time, and it's best to check out all nearby POIs given this scenery is loaded) I've searched for tools, dev libs, algorithms, and haven't seem to found a quick and easy way to do so. With recent update (probably 3.0.8 or somewhere), I noticed if the range ring have one over 4000NM, all range ring from this center would not show. If I move the view, it might show in some very specific angle/zoom, but not always able to find that I normally use 120 420 1000 1600 4000 4800, now 120 420 1000 1600 3999 can reliably show up, but even a single 4000 could not. And same for both projection.

Firstly thank you for this amazing and comprehensive piece of software. I find using shortcut keys to open LNM windows easier and less fiddly than using the mouse to traverse the LNM menus, and conveniently I can also map them to VoiceAttack for voice activation. This works perfectly but the shortcuts only allow opening of windows. Repeating a shortcut does not close the associated open window, thus requiring use of the mouse to close it, which is less convenient. Would it be possible for shortcut keys to function as a toggle between open and close?

Hello, How do I get LNM to show my custom navaids (VORDMEs and NDBs) that I created as a package through the MSFS SDK? I can see them if I disable the Navigraph database but then I lose a lot of other information. Is there a way to see both?

Hi, running MSFS2020 premium deluxe and LNM 3.0.11 64-bit. I have defined in my content.xml file for the Navigraph data to take priority over all sceneries I have, since I want their data to override any other. After a full database update, for some airports (I'll use KATL as example here), I still see that the Steam data is shown "lower" in the LNM "Data sources" list in the information window (below).
