Thank you for the great program, My question is , I'm having difficulty finding the export flightplan as .txt option in the export options. Perhaps I' missed something. I see it's in the documentation and was available is older versions. Thank you..

The only waypoints I see on the map are those on my flight plan. The top menu button that is labelled "show waypoints on map" as well as the pull down menu under View-->Navaids-->Show Waypoints don't do anything. What am I missing?

First of all: I am not a computer nerd so I do need help! I would like to connect a second monitor to my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER grapic card. If it works this monitor would be a dedicated Little NavMap Monitor. The single HDMI port is connected to my main monitor at the moment. That leaves three DisplayPort 1.4's. I have been checking the Internet for a suitable 14" monitor but I cannot find one with a DisplayPort. Even if I did I don't know if the configeration would work as I would like it. I have never attached two monitors to one graphic card so how can I have a different content on two displays. For any advice I would be very gra…

Hi I have been usin LNMAP for a while with P3D, and I am on a network set-up. So when I connect little Navconnect, I see the connection is active, and on my network PC I can connect the little navmap program. But with MSFS all is good except when connect, I see the AI but not my aircraft, I don't know why? At the bottom on simulator aircraft box, I see : "user aircraft is not shown on map" Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Hani

Hi. My installation of LNM refuses to auto-connect with P3D. My system: P3D v5.1 (v5.2 since yesterday), LNM latest release (v...13) on the same PC, Win 10 prof. with all updates as OS. Since LNM v...9 or v...11 it refuses to auto-connect. No problem connecting manually, but no matter whether I mark the checkbox of "connect automatically" or not - it would not do. Leaving the connection settings window via "Connect" button, estabilshes the connection without any faults. It simply would not do it on program startup. Trying to connect LittleNavConnect on the computer with the flight sim to LittleNavMap on a remote computer. Sometimes it does work, but rarely. I've played with port numbers, using IP address, and computer hostname. Both LNM and LNC are updated to most recent version. I know the program's help mentions that the firewall may need to be set up, but I do not know how to do this. Seems like a pretty basic issue that will be obvious once I've addressed it. Hi: I lost track for this excellent utility that allows you to select the Little Navmap interface within the sim, without the need to Alt-TAB in Windows. I think it was not updated for SU5, but I kindly ask if someone has information please let me know. Thanks

Hi Alex, I found 2 issues and have 2 requests 🙂 Plan type and plane speed are not saved between exports (the other parameters are saved). Meaning, if I choose plan type Z and export, then next time I try to export , it reverts to I. same goes for the speed. 2 requests, when I submit the plan in IVAO, I usually get 2 rejects: - DOF (Date of flight) is in the past - that's because in this case you DO remember the last DOF from the last export :-). Is it possible maybe that you'll just set DOF of today if it doesn't exist in the RMK text box of your dialog ? - Time of the flight is in the past. So I am seeing a yellow arrow with a value. Do I assume this is the wind speed around the aircraft currently ? I am not using Live weather but jus presets. In the weather settings it apoears to be unable to read a metar file as it does in P3D. So whats happening ? Thank you. All other stuff is awesome, as usual !

Hi Alex I noticed, on my case, that after five hours, Little nav map freezes and it is impossible to reactivate it until I reload msfs2020 again. I think that is simcconect problem. this happen with the same airplane, pmdg dc6. How I can solve the problem? Lnm version: 2.6.16 Msfs2020: 1.19.9.0

Is here any way to disable tabs. i understood its needed but not always fit nicely and consume a lot of screen space. So general idea: i want flight plan to behave similarly to Elevation profile [i want to read more lines of flight plan]

Hello, Just started to use LNM. I made a flight plan in Simbrief going from KCLE to KORD. I want to use the WATSN4 Star however when I try to insert it into the flight plan (and choose runway 28R) it automatically selects Airport 6CA5 Valley Vista in California. Something I'm doing wrong? I have web server running on Win 10 X-Plane and a home based network. Running the web page browser on the Server computer - all functions correctly. That is the map covers the entire web page window below the menu bar. Running a web browser on the ipad (Safari or Firefox) displays the web page and is connected to the server but has the top level Menu bar missing and just showing the sub menu bar (Map, help buttons etc missing). Sometimes I can get the Top level menu bar but it displays over the sub-menu. The web page displays only a small horizontal strip of the map below the menu bar. It is live and connected to X-Plane. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am new to LNM and exploring its features. I hear that the taxiway designators in default MSFS airports are assigned randomly and therefore useless when on VATSIM, for instance. Yet, I have checked a few airports in LNM and the labels are all correct. I understand that LNM builds its database from the MSFS data... So what is the trick? It's good news anyway! Clarification: I selected the mode "Use Navigraph for Navaids and Procedures", so acc. to the manual the taxiways come from MSFS.

As the title says is there a way to add / show roadways for VFR flying.

I have a lot of routes that have airways in them when using Simbrief, is there a way to add airways into LNM that I'm unaware of?

This is a pet peeve of mine - I click search and select Airport, input and do the search - usually the next thing I want to do is see what approaches are available and how they look on the map so I click the procedures tab and they are for some other airport - this is my wish - have the procedures tab already filled in with the airport selection from the search. I know I can get the same info with a couple of extra clicks but it just seems intuitive to me that upon selecting an airport in the search, the remaining fields would use that info. If there's a shortcut way to do that, I'm afraid I missed it. Thanx, Vic

My map screen is black, and at the bottom, while the sim is running it says ' connecting ', that's as far as it gets.

All my JustSim airport runways are white on the map. Orbx and others are gray. I tried changing maps and reloading scenery but no change. Any idea why this happens? Thanks for your help.

Hello friends, I mostly use MSFS to fly into small unpaved grass or dirt airfields. These are shown in LNM as "Soft or water runways". Currently the icons showing the location of these fields (a white circle with a maroon border) only become visible at zoom level of 1.8nm and below. When I zoom out to beyond 1.8nm zoom level the icon vanishes. I've looked at the menu but couldn't find it - is it possible to make the icons stay visible to any zoom level you can specify? Hey guys, having a tough time loading a flight plan from LNM to MSFS (as I see others are as well). I have a simple example I wanted to share to see if anyone knew how to fix it (or even what the problem is): This usually works fine for me, but every once in a while when I try to use an approach MSFS does crazy things. Just wanted to show a trick here to help people out if they're having issues loading LNM flight plans in MSFS2020. I often make VFR routes in LNM and load them into MSFS. An example is shown beloiw: However, 75% of the time it adds in extra waypoints and generally messes up my route. As shown below: First Load- However if I immediarty press space and load the same flight plan a second time, it WORKS! It loads exactly as I planned it. I can then go fly without a hitch. Hope this helps anyone having similar problems. NOTE: this trick does not work if you are attempting to load approaches. Second Load-

Hi. Running LNM 2.6.16 and can't get airport weather icons / flight rules to show up on the map. I have seen this feature on Youtube and it is really handy 🙂 Tried following some of the earlier guidance on the topic but no luck for me. I am flying MSFS, does LNM need to be connected to MSFS for it to work? The flight rules are shown OK in the Airport Weather window... BR Søren
