Any guess on why the ILS system would look like this in LittleNavMap? cheers!

So I've just installed LNM on Linux and the documentation says "The base path of the MSFS installation and its directories Community and Official is detected automatically. You can change the path manually if needed." I assume this is in shown in the Scenery Library -> Load Scenery Library window. However, mine is blank and my "Simulator" dropdown list only shows X-Plane 11 (which is not installed). I'm not sure what to put in for the folder. I wish to preserve my current AIRAC cycle (2112) in Little NavMap for use with FSX (it's the last cycle for which FSX data was updated by FSAerodata), while enabling me to use future cycles for MSFS as they come available - I am only just starting to use MSFS, so still use FSX a lot. Having looked at the files in the little_navmap_db directory it appears that the Navigraph data consists of 3 files: little_navmap_navigraph.sqlite, cycle.json and cycle_info.txt. Is it enough to save copies of these 3 files for each AIRAC cycle, and switch them in and out as required? I am happy to do this manually, but may use a script instead - or is there an easier way? I would be interested in a File Save option that would allow you to split a large plan into legs. For instance, you have ABC.lnmpln which is 1500 nm long. It would be great if you could split at airport (or other) waypoints with (optionally) a minimum distance (say 400nm) between breakpoints. Then the split function would write out ABC-Leg01 through ABC-Leg04 plans in the same directory. I do this often manually. Perhaps there is an existing easy way to do it. It would be great to have this done automatically for some of the large bush trips and world tours I see posted on the web. Thanks, Dan

Loading Scenery Library scans OK, but what I see for Taxi2Gate's MMMX doesn't match the scenery. The Overview tab of the Information window shows the T2G scenery: Scenery 0203 Base F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Scenery\0203\scenery\APX21250.bgl MMMX F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Addon Scenery\MMMX-T2G\MMMX\Scenery\MMMX_AF.BGL MMMX F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Addon Scenery\MMMX-T2G\MMMX\Scenery\MMMX_Exclude.bgl Yet the resulting map doesn't match the scenery parking spots and taxiway location. Love Little Navmap. With a recent release the Flight Plan page now shows the 3 character IATA instead of the 4 character IDENT code. This is a hassle because when entering the flight plan on some planes the 3 letter IATA does not work (i.e. FlyJSim Q4XP) - so I have flip back and forth to get the correct code to program the FMS. I can't find a place to change this as an option. Anyone know of a work-around or that I may be missing something? Thanks!

I have written a small utility to take MSFS Bush Trip comments and put them into a LNMPLN "Comments" element. This is because I find using LNM plans far superior to the MS flight planner or the Bush Trip interface. One limitation with LNM is the Flight Planning "Remarks" column is limited to about 80 characters of text and also the mouse hover pop up window. I understand that the column should be limited to fit into the limited window space. However would it be possible for the mouse hover pop up window or some alternate way of providing the full text of the LNMPLN file comments? Thanks for any comments or alternate suggestions.

Sorry if this has been asked before - I did check the FAQs. Is it possible to alter one's altitude in the Flight Plan? This would help create a more accurate fuel picture. There are various reasons for altering altitude en route, but in my case I would most often want to do it in VFR conditions to descend below or climb above controlled airspace, rather than go around it. My initial impression of this excellent tool is that one must select a single cruise altitude and stick to it, no matter how long the cruise portion. When using Aersoft’s Rothera Station Scenery it appears doublely in Littlenavmap. Anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Been using LNM a long while with no issues. Had to do a major reload and repair of P3D and now I have one! When I attempt to update my P3Dv4.5 Scenery Library I get the following: Caught exception " Cannot read file C:/Users/MyName/OrbxLibrary/p3dv4/KJAC Jackson Hole Airport/add-onxml. Reason: Start tag exjpected" If I uninstall the offending airport file it only gives the same error message for the next Orbx airport in my library? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, I'm using LNM 2.6.17. As said in the title, all entries beyond 250 do not show on the statistics. Is there a limitation or a bug ? Is this something that could be improved or fixed ? Thanks.

I have added a couple fictional airports to MSFS -- one by the Hype Group ("HPG1") and a heliport in the Grand Canyon ("RSP1", by the RotorSimPilot dude). They are not represented in LNM -- is this because LMN is using a database file that pre-dates me adding those? If so, how do I update?

Hi I have the latest version of LNM installed across a network and have copied the 15 files "sqlite" across to the LNM pc but can't install them as the load scenery library "simulator" option only shows xplane and I can't select msfs? They show up in the "file and directories - show database files- " area but I can't seem to load them. Any ideas? Thanks

Does anyone know of a way to allow the user to place "points of interest" on any of the Little Navmap maps? For example, those of us who enjoy using the "Return to Misty Moorings" scenery packages would love to place location markers to identify the various cabins and other points of interest. Hi Alex, trust you are keeping well and Covid-free... I recently updated to v5.3 of P3D - everything working fine...completed a tour of the Amazon region west to east with 22 plans created with LNM. 'Returning' to the UK I then noticed stutters in the sim and on checking forums discovered other flyers with the same issues but appear to be in/over more dense scenery areas (Amazon region pretty sparse!). Installed the full P3Dv5.3+HF1 to 'overcome' the stuttering issue which does seem to be resolved but now have a challenge with P3D not responding when loading a new flight plan via LNM! After installing the new P3D I did delete both p3d.cfg and scenery.cfg fi…

Hello. I've made several attempts to update Little Navmap's AIRAC data and every time it crashes little navmap.

As the subject says, anyone know of one?

This is admittedly a corner case, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I flight plan in LNM on my laptop, save the files to OneDrive (Microsoft cloud storage), and then load the plan on my simulator PC's LNM from OneDrive. Almost every night when I'm not using the system, LNM at some point fails to get the wx with an "unknown error 99". Thereafter, when I try to connect to the simulator PC with VNCViewer, the connection gets broken over and over, about every two or so seconds, until I exit of out LNM on the simulator PC. Thereafter the VNC connection works as it should. I'm not asking for a fix but it's such an unusual bug that I wanted you to know about it.

I am using 2.4.4 and did not notice this issue until Windows 10 had yet another update. I often use Display Airport Traffic Pattern as well as Display Airport Holding, and I have been able to remove them when I want to. But now the Remove options are greyed out and not available - can someone help with this please?

I have just flown to EGVP in the UK using Little Navmap for flight planning. I noticed that runways 35/17 at EGVP are identified 180 degs out i.e. runway 35 identified as 17 and visa versa. I have used fsAerodata to update the P3dv4 navigation data to AIRAC 1710 so not sure where the fault lies.

Hello, Thank you for program. Absolutely the one I need. I use it for taxi directions and when need to know ILS freqs. I am new on VATSIM network. Today ATC asked me to hold on E1. (EGLL) I was checking from Littlenav map but I passed E1 and stopped on taxiway A ( ATC told to pushback ) Later I checked the chart and noticed where is E2-E1 Is there a way show up point like E2-E1 on Littlenav map ? Yesterday I opened a few logbook entries and could see the dotted aircraft trail lines. But today, it's not working, and I have the "show simulator aircraft trail" box turned on. Is there something else that needs to be done to make them visible? All I see is the blue line from departure to destination.
