I have FS 2 Crew for the Majestic Q400 and someone posted a really nice checklist, that you can print out that has the entire script for all the checklists, so you can read it while FS 2 Crew is going through the checklist and you know the exact responses that you are supposed to give. Has anyone done this for NGX reboot?

This a reference sheet I created for the FS2Crew NGX Reboot SOP1 that contains a summary of all the flows and the voice commands required to go through them. It is designed as a 2-page sheet (to be printed as such and perhaps laminated) with the gate/stand to cruise phase on the first page and cruise phase to gate/stand on the second page. Additionally there is a second 2-page sheet containing all the voice commands, as they are listed on the manual. FS2Crew NGX Reboot SOP1 Reference FS2Crew NGX Reboot Voice Commands Comments and suggestions welcome.

I'm a little confused about the "you have control" feature when preparing for descent. According to the manual, we are supposed to activate this during cruise before beginning the descent phase of the flight while entering landing data and preparing for the approach brief. I am just curious about what this actually accomplishes, since the aircraft would normally already be on autopilot during this stage. Please explain what's going on here, as this is not present in the 777 version of FS2crew. Thanks Andrew Jones

Hello Bryan, I have a small question. I am running a button version (SOP2) before take off I activate my VNAV on CMD. Everything goes well up until this point then I started my takeoff, once I have positive rate I ordered my FO to put the gear up and he did BUT the FS2Crew panel did not change to the next step (to change the flap instead stuck on gear up command) so I have to manually push the down arrow on the FS2crew panel. When I did it change to 'Flap 15' even though I used flap 10 for take off. on the secondary button I can asked my FO to activate the LNAV and he did it but the FS2Crew panel did not move/ change to the next step, so it is stuck on LNAV comman…

For some reason, FS2Crew suddenly only uses the standard U.S. 18000 ft/FL180 as the transition altitude/transition level, regardless of my input in the FMC. Also for the minimums it started to use a default value, instead of what I fill in on the approach brief page of the settings window. What could cause this and how can I solve this problem? EDIT: The above was for yesterday's flight. On today's flight I found out that FS2Crew used 7000 ft instead of 2000 ft for the FAF, FL100 instead of FL030 for the transition level and > 500 ft instead of 187 ft for the minimums. I am 100% positive I filled everything in correctly in both the FMC and the FS2Crew settings. It …

Hello All, I am totally new to FS2Crew but not new to the PMDG 737. Have just bought Reboot and am using button control SOP Set 2. Loading the PMDG 737 with the 'Long Turn' Panel State. Config Set Up all OK. Keyboard assignments for Main and Sec all good and working. All went very well and easily so I am following the Tutorial but I have a few [idiot] questions. What I am struggling with is the interaction between Captain and FO and their respective responsibilities. Can I assume that anything labelled 'Procedure' in the Tutorial is just a series of actions carried out either by me [manually] or the FO automatically ? No problem there but I dont hear the FO sa…

Hi to you all Today I bought the G737 NGX reboot for P3Dv3. Installation went seamless. Now I have started up the plane I noticed a terrible problem. Most of the buttons in the whole cockpit are not reacting on my mouse actions. Even all buttons on the CDU are not acting on the mouseclicks. I bought at the same time FS2CREW P3D too. I cann call the panels, but no butttons respond on mouseclicking. Can anybody tell me how I can solve this please? Thanks very much and regards, Ed

The title says it all really. Is it possible to skip the setup stage and start the flight at the 'Ready To Taxi stage', i.e. using the PMDG Default panel state with engines running? If so, could someome kindly let me know, or point me to the procedure involved? Many thanks Gareth

I've read the manual but need clarification. Do I enable CMD A before takeoff ? If not, I have to reach all the way across the panel to do so while in climb mode. And since CMD is required in order to enable LNAV, it would seem the 1st officer would enable it upon request as well as enabling the LNAV or HEADING select. This is in reference to SOP #2 Button Control. I think in the previous version there was a command for the first officer to enable the autopilot. Thanks.

I am thinking of buying the FS2Crew for the 737 and would like to know if the copilot would do things like set baro, flaps, trim, radios and other minor things such as the Aerosoft bus does? What all will the crew do or take over from the load?

Hi, could it be that the combination P3Dv3 NGX Reboot and Vpilot causes the same problems as the Dash Module? I've just read that you fixed that CTD- problem in the Dash-8 Module. It seems as I have the same problem. Trying to use FS2Crew NGX and VPilot crashes both P3Dv3 and VPilot. Could this be the problem? Maybe the same fix? Regards, chris

According to the FCOM the center tank fuel pumps should be turned off when there are 1000lbs/500kg fuel in the center tank. The FS2Crew FO only turns them off when the tank runs empty though. This has the danger of the pumps sucking air and running hot since they're cooled by the fuel running through them. Could this be changed for the next update?

FS2Crew (and 737NGX FCOMv1 at SP.5.2 on page 208 of the pdf) call for PF to confirm that the Voice Recorder Switch is set to Normal as part of the Preliminary Pre-Flight Procedures and then to test the Voice Recorder. I can't for the life of me find the Voice Recorder Switch and the associated test switch. Can anybody help? Thanks, JD

Hello! I bought FS2CREW REBOOTED for the 737 yesterday. When starting fs2crew I get this SDK error which I have tried to fix - without any luck. In sop 3, I use voice and it runs perfectly until I ask for the before start checklist to the line. It picks up my voice, but does nothing. When I switch to button control I have no problem what so ever. In SOP 3 it runs great uintil I start the before start checklist to the line. It reads: "Phones", and I say off. It picks up what I say, but does nothing. If I switch to button control I am able to continue, but I want to use voice. If I switch to voice from button again after the checklist, it still doesn't do anyting. What do …

I've done a search but can't find a remedy. When running through the preflight and getting to the Engine Cutoff Lever response, I get "Check That Please" even though the levers are in Idle Detent. I've double checked, and they are indeed in detent. Also, I checked in my configuration and Online ATC is "Off" (as a possible reason in FAQ), Thoughts on how to fix this, other than ignore the FO's response? Thanks. BTW, Button Control.

Hi, I've noticed on my last 2 flights that when I ask for flaps 40, the FO reads back "Flaps 25" although he does set the flaps correctly. I'm using Reboot NGX v1.1, button control, SOP 2. Not a major issue, just thought I'd point it out. Any ideas? Regards, Mick
