FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGX REBOOT

I just got Reboot for my 737 NGX. I already have FS2 Crew for the Q400 which is the voice version, so I thought I would try the button version of reboot. I really like it. Don't have to memory some of the phrases like with the voice version and I love not having to wear my headset when I fly. :smile: Tutorial flight was very easy too. Great add on for the 737.

Hello everyone, I just purchased FS2Crew Reboot I have had some issues with this for some reason. At first it was working fine I followed the tutorial got all the way up to the cruise portion of the flight and then I went out of the sim via ALT+Enter and when I came back it hanged, at first I thought it was tied to the descent checklist as it was where I had the crash on the FS2Crew Menu. Then I went into the flight got to cruise again, I walked away from the computer leaving P3D up on the screen I was about 10 feet away from the PC and I saw the sim running, it wasn't until much later that I noticed that the clock was not moving so I clicked on the screen it turned ha…

Hi, I would like to ask the folowing fs2crew SOP1 starts the apu before the aircraft lands evenif I Have chosen to start the apu after the captain's command, this maybe a bag or sonuthing else? Thank you very much Pericles

Hi all Quick question, where can I find detail of the autoland procedures in the manuals; I have looked through both Main and SOP 3 manuals, but can't seem to find anything! There are clearly some differences, as the FO starts the APU during descent, and I'm obviously doing something wrong as he keeps telling me my approach is unstable; though I am following the usual procedures! Any help would be appreciated Chris

Hi guy's, I've had reboot installed since it,s release with no issues but I've now got a new win10 rig which I've done a complete new fsx install and all addon's but on this install everything has gone ok but I have one lasting issue that I'm unable to resolve, when the first officer or the flight attendant voice's play they cut out and distort, stutter all the other sounds in the sim, engines, enviroment sounds etc,etc, I've done all I can to reslove this but nothing, all programs are set to the correct sound program on the system any advise would be great. Apologies if this has already been asked before. If you save your flight say in the cruise within P3D and want to continue the flight at a later time, once you open up FS2Crew again after P3D restarts and continuously press the down arrow on the FS2Crew panel to the last procedure and select it, it doesn't seem to flow properly later on such as during the decent. For example the under 10k procedure starts at 17000 feet, where it would normally start at 10k; correct point if I hadn't of restarted P3D and FS2Crew (NGX reboot button control). Any suggestions? Can't start engines keep saying insufficient air pressure where am I going wrong what should I be doing using sop2. Many thanks Rob lambert

Hi Bryan, Here's a weird one. In my last few flights with NGX reboot all my interactions with the FO are fine except for the select speed command. If I, for example, say, "select speed "200" the set speed in the MCP starts to change and then slow down as it reaches the commanded speed. When it gets to 200 it pauses very briefly and then continues on to it's lowest, or highest, possible setting. If I say "Cancel my last instruction" the FO does stop. So I have been having to change speed settings myself. I can't for the life of me work out how this could happen but perhaps you can help. Thanks Andrew

Hi, i use the voice control with sop2. My FO set the stab trim always to 5,68, no matter the zwf and cg from the fmc purports. Before the FO performs the stab trim, he update the zfw and cg in the FMC correct. The manual says, THIS IS AN APPROXIMATION. FS2CREW CANNOT READ THE ACTUAL TAKEOFF TRIM VALUE FROM THE FMC. YOU MAY NEED TO SLIGHTLY RE-TRIM. An approximation would be fine, but my FO, as i said, always trim to 5,68. Does anyone have a tip for me what could be the problem ? Regards Jens

Recently I started having an issue with FS2Crew. I load in my scenario just fine, SOP2, VOICE. Shows "Pre-Flight Checklist" in the panel after it initializes. Once I click to start the pre-flight events, it hangs at <--Setup-->. Sometimes i gets past this and will get stuck at <--FO Action-->. This seemed to happen after installing VOX ATC. VOX ATC seems to work ok, (Aside from controlling AI - thats a whole nother issue). This did work once and I must say it was the most immersive experience with both of these addons! Any ideas what this might be? I'm running P3D V3 and FS2CREW NGX Rebot V1.1 wth Vox ATC 6.52.

Ever since I upgraded to 1.1, I've had trouble getting FS2Crew to remember my "voice control" preference. Around the time I upgraded, I also decided to give SOP 3 a go, so my initial thoughts were that it had something to do with my changing SOPs. But, I've since discovered that I wasn't a fan of SOP 3 due to its international procedure bias and I've gone back to SOP 2. Every time I start up FS2Crew lately, it always boots in button control. And they don't show on the instrument display, it actually says on the side of the display "No V speeds" or something to that effect. What am I doing wrong? I would love the FO to call out the V speeds, and rotate, etc...

Hi All, I am unable to understand the formatting of messages on the main panel and hope someone here can shed light on the subject. Sometimes the messages are wrapped in angle brackets. What do the brackets mean? Sometimes the messages are wrapped in hyphens. What do the hyphens mean? Sometimes the messages are wrapped in hyphens and brackets, What does the combo mean? Sometimes the messages are not wrapped in anything. What does that mean? These questions have been bothering me for more than a year. Please set my doubts to rest? hello there! i just got fs2crew yesterday, and i love what it can do so far with the button control. the issue im having is that neither windows nor fs2crew is catching any sound from my mic. however, my mic does work. i know this because i fly on vatsim and talk on teamspeak 3 very often with this mic. i use a $5 dollar headset from the Target dollar section that has a little microphone thing on the wire, and i believe it is operated by realtec. It does not have a usb, it connects to the computer via 3.5mm jack. all help will be appreciated and happy flying to all in this new year!

...the problem started. The program is starting at the wrong step. Now, everytime I start Reboot I get the "Preflight Checklist" prompt. It skips over the procedures before this, and presents no countdown clock. It won't let me back up either.

I care less about check lists, flight plans, 30 minutes to go from cold and dark to lift off for now. I want to just start out with creating a simple free flight, letting the systems load, telling the FO to add flaps, set this or that, take off, raise the gear, etc. Thus far everything looks successful as far as loading and my voice working, but yet to have the FO actually do anything I say. Do I have to follow specific checklists in order to have a simple short hop and not just be able to fly basically a manual flight with the FO just following a few simple commands? Is PMDG 737 NGX Reboot a standalone program that doesn't need any of the previous FS2Crew programs installed? I am just a little confused. Thanks, Tom Hibben

I am having problems connecting FS2Crew PMDG NGX Reboot with the latest (i.e. as of 11/12/15) PMDG 737NGX in Lockheed Martin P3D version 3. I have followed all the advice in the FS2Crew PMDG NGX Button Control Tutorial (although the tutorial doesn't show the current FS2Crew PMDG NGX Reboot Config Manager). I have followed the advice regarding running both FS2Crew and P3D as 'Administrator', and ensured that UAC is disabled. I have ensured that the default aircraft is loaded first in P3D. Hello, trouble while engine start on 737: while Pushback (GSX) i start Eingine. First number 2, without problems, but whe i say to the co "Start Engine 1" he says suddenly "starter cutout" and the engine-display switch off. i must manualy switsch on the engine-display and switch the starter from number 1 manualy to start. all other seems to work perfect.

FS2Crew support and simmers, Hello! I just purchased the NGX: Reboot after a transition over to P3D, and on first glance, it looks incredible. Systems depth is astounding and I am eager to experiment with it and see what I can come up with. Unfortunately, I've been getting a slight annoyance, and I'm not sure if there's any way it can be fixed. It seems pedantic, though for me it is rather distracting and I was wondering if there's some way it can be dealt with. The problem is in the looping of the boarding sounds. Now I understand that to minimize the size of the audio files, boarding sounds as such must be kept on a loop, though with the loud boarding sound volume, …

I have updated to v1.1, and now my FS2CREW NGX Reboot wont change from SOP2 to anything else. All the other options in the setup menu will change but SOPS is fixed on Set 2 and won't change. Sometimes when requesting the FO to set <TAKEOFF FLAPS> he responds with a Flaps Movement Check. I haven't been able to find any info on this in the manuals. What determines if the FO performs a flaps movement check vs setting the flaps to 5? Thanks
