FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGX REBOOT

Hi there! So far I´m using FSX in network config. but would like to change to P3D V3. The problem is that I cant use fsinn in P3D V3 (only in legacy mode which I don´t like). Unfortuneately FSInn is required because it has the possibility to seperate the voice from the machine where the tool is working. This is useful for network config in combi with Voice Commander. Otherwise I would have the the voice of voice commander on the SIM machine and the Online voice on my laptop. FSINN makes it possible to use both on the SIM machine although I´m in network config. My question is there a way to do it in that way with voice commander (here NGX reboot) too? Thank you…

Hello, I have enjoyed the older Emergency versions of FS2crew, but I am having command issues with Reboot. Once airborne I am able to command the FO to make changes to speed, heading, auto pilot etc, However, I can't get him to put the gear up or down nor extend or retract the flaps. On taxi, I can't get the FO to extend the flaps. Right after rotation on take off with a positive rate of climb, I command "gear up" or during flight I command "gear down", but nothing happens. This is also true for Flap commands in flight regardless of retracting flaps or extending flaps. I see the green speech bar indicating the command, but no action. Has the gear and flap commands …

During the SOP2 Before start checklist to the line at the point when the MCP is being confirmed i.e. V2_____HEADING_____ALTITUDE_____ I read out V2 is 147 Heading is 090 and the FO immediately says CHECKED and carries onto the TAKEOFF SPEEDS and ignores the ALTITUDE. I hope that makes sense. fs2crew also has problems on the next line when I am trying to read V1 is 140 VR is 140 V2 is 145. I have to repeat myself at least once or twice before what I say is recognised. Any help or advice would be appreciated Regards Colin

Hi! I installed Reboot and everything works fine: Voice (H) on the main bar (HS on), Audio configuration recognizes headset (reset is red) but I can't communicate with FO, my voice seems to be not recognized and, of course, that green bar repeating my commands never shows. I tested speech recognition in Windows and works fine with my voice. Maybe I'm forgetting something, can you help?

I'll apologize before I start this thread, because I know the answer will be obvious when it's given. On the descent, I get the QNH value for the arrival airport before getting to the transition level, and set it in the captain's altimeter. I have my aircraft set to sync, so all three altimeters take the same value. However, when passing the transition level, the FO states he is setting his altimeter to 29.92. What do I need to do to get the FO to set it to the value I have entered? Thanks Martin

Hi all, I'm currently looking to buy several parts of hardware, amongst them is an MCP. I was wondering: If I - for example - ask the F/O to set a certain flight level, will this change be reflected on the 'real' MCP? I'm assuming that when I ask the F/O to engage a certain A/P mode like LNAV or Command A, this will not be reflected on the 'real' mcp, is this correct? Thanks, Stefan

I have not used my 737 for a while. I got the 737 NGX Reboot last July and just installed it. I also managed to find and download the PMDG Service Pack d from Aerosoft (I have the boxed version). [i have been hesitating to use the PMDG with the new FS2Crew because it seems like that everytime I install a new addon, it becomes a major pain in the &@($*. This time is no exception.] I installed the new Service Pack, uninstalled my prior version of FS2Crew then installed the NGX Reboot. When I start FSX, I try to select the PMDG 737. FSX crashes before loading the plane. I disable the NGX reboot. No problem, the plane loads. I re-enable …

So I arrive at the gate and have done everything that the checklist says. Fo says 3 minutes I park at the gate and wait for several minutes without the FO doing his shutdown procedure.

Hello, for a few weeks I notice that during the preflight (about 5 minutes before pushback) somebody just disconnects the Ground Power and I'm sitting there with no power, emegency exit lights on and this weird alarm. Does anybody know why this happens and how to avoid this? Best regards Roman

When I select the audio button and choose USB headset in the audio tab button and select HS on the main control panel the Button text remains and doesn't switch to voice so I can talk. So although the main panel allows me to change options even though I select the mic it still doesn't activate to voice. So its not a training the mic issue it just won't let me use it in the first place although I have selected it. Can anyone help here please. Thanks Chris Ok fixed this myself thanks anyway.

Hi, Thank you so much for this product as it is amazing. I am having so much fun flying with this. I fly for virtual Ryanair (shame that we can't fly with them for a bit as they're updating the ACARS) and therefore I mainly fly Ryanair. This leaves me flying with SOP 3, which I have now mastered without having my face planted into the checklist! One thing that does annoy me however is that at the end of the before take-off checklist to the line the FO says: "Before taxi checklist complete" It would be great if you could fix this, and I look forward to using ultimate ground crew x with it (but not paying for that as well).

Just a couple of quick questions This happens with a few commands, in SOP 2 and 3. One was, when I asked the FO to put the seat belts signs on, he does this and after he states that he has put these on, he then says "PACKS OFF" and turn the packs off. Also, when I have landed, not all the time, the FO says "CHECKED" around 6 times...lol. The other question is, has anyone sorted out the solution of why you can not open up the Configuration Manager. I still can't open mine up and I know a few guys on here have had the same problem. I have recently purchased NGX reboot and have been using the button control. Is there a logic to when the check list which appears in the main Panel is usually Yellow but sometimes Orange. Also where it says the captain needs to perform the preflight procedure. I do not know how to do a Master Lights Test and dim test for example so is it a question of having to go through the FCOM PMDG 737 manual or are these procedures explained in a more simple way anywhere. These relate to the 3 warning annunciators located above the ND. Hi. I've looked everywhere for an answer to this, and I'm at the end of my tether. I have installed and re-installed Reboot (Steam), both times with admin rights. I have started FSX with admin rights. I have activated NGX rebbot via the config manager.(Did this first). I have the Trike showing on the free flight screen. I have started the NGX with both engines off and engines on. I am starting in 2D cockpit mode. I have assigned a Main keyboard button. In addition to this Thread FSX crashes, whenever I select the PMDG 737 from the aircraft list, with FS2Crews PMDG 737 NGX Reboot activated. As soon as I disable it via the menu, the 737 is loaded without a problem (everything ran before fine). This is a complete new behaviour. I've only reinstalled the FSX because I switched my HDD, I've cleaned every trace of the FSX before doing a reinstall, which included registry scan and cleaning the files in the appdata/roaming directories. However it seems like my FSX installation is somewhat fckd up. FSX crashes upon RAAS initialisation and now claims it's unsafe (sim connect bug?) And FS2Crew NGX Reboot is now doing the s…

When as pilot Flying, I have the autopilot off on climb out, and can instruct the PM to select LNAV, VNAV HDG SEL, but not Autopilot. The PM responds with CHECK but does nothing. I can press Cmd A myself, so the conditions for engagement are met. Any ideas please? Martin

Dear Byork, I am not sure if this is a bug or if I am missing a step or two. When doing my departure brief if I choose to 'change crew' option then pressed play it will then revert back to 'same crew'. Is this correct? Thanks

Hello again: Is there any way (/can a way be made) to force FS2Crew to refresh its audio system to recover from when a USB audio device reconnects? When I've needed to reconnect my USB headset for whatever reason, I haven't been able to get FS2Crew to use it without a FSX reboot. I don't think this is a FSX limitation, because FSX seems to recognize the headset again after I go to Options->Sound and re-select it. I haven't had much luck getting FS2Crew to use it, though. I know the simple fix would be to simply not disconnect the headset, but I was just hoping there was a way to recover if the headset has to be reconnected for whatever reason. Thank…
