FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGX REBOOT

Hi, i have a look to "Logs" Result: File FS2CrewCVR.log not found File FS2CrewSpeechEngine.log not found where should the Files be ? Manfred Maier

Open up fsx into 737NGX and FS2crew which opens normally into the cockpit OK, when I switch on the fs2crew panel I get SDK Warning message. I have deleted the 737NGX and rebooted it and checked the init file which reads (SDK) EnableDataBroadcast=1. My computer is Windows 7 . Can anyone help please. Mike

Hi everyone. I am very close to making a purchase of the 737NGX Reboot pack from fs2crew. I run my simulator on Windows 8 and am just wondering if anyone has seen any major bugs or problems with the product on windows 8? I had the previous NGX pack and it runs absolutely fine on my system so I am sure the Reboot will be the same but I just want to make sure first! Thanks, Robbie

I hope I can get some help! I can't seem to get the preflight checklist started. Everything seems to be working up to the point where I ask for the preflight checklist. I get no response from the FO. Also, when I try to play the "welcome" announcement, nothing happens. Don't know if the two are related. Any help would be great. Thanks. Ed Henry

I've done several flights with Reboot and after much trial and error I'm finding it the most enjoy experience to make the NGX more realistic. I've noticed though that no conversation comes through the headsets, ALL through the speakers. My heaphone mike has no problems issuing commands, but a search through the reboot manuals doesn't tell me what I'm supposed to hear through the headsets. Am I supposed to hear the FO do his checklists, or the FA when she answers my requests or the PA announcements ....or are my (new) headphones not functioning correctly?

Twice now I have had my flight ruined because FS2Crew hangs the sim on Descent Checklist. I set up the values in the secondary panel for my approach, I then tell the FO 'Lets start settnig up for the descent', I then go about my buisness of tuning the radios, setting up the FIX pages, entering the descent forecast in the FMS and the sim just hangs and it is when FS2Crew is displaying 'DESCENT CHECKLIST'. Twice in a row now I have lost a flight at this exact same point, the previous attempts I have tried using this reboot were no-gos at the gate beause the program was not detecting any speech. Even this last flight had this issue, I had to close out the sim and relo…

Hi y'all, so I've just installed the rebooted version of the 737 fs2crew, manual really makes it look great! Sadly, as with my 777 version, I keep getting SDK failed to initialize messages. The sim is running in admin mode, starts off with the trike in free flight, loads into a 2D cockpit, the lines of code are in the .ini file, and the 737 is running the latest version from the Op Manager... I seriously don't know what's up... Any help woud be greatly appreciated! Best, Tom

Hi I am unable to open the configurator for some reason. I click on it, the egg timer runs briefly and then nothing. I tried to run as an administrator, i disabled all virus checking software and still nothing. Can you suggest what i can try to do next? Right now i have a program that does nothing. Bryan, first of all thank you VERY much for the new reboot version of FS2crew for the NGX. I am really enjoying it, I especially like the new voices. I have only run into one issue so far. I am using SOP 1, and on every flight the PM correctly sets the departure field elevation on the overhead panel prior to departure. But he never sets the destination field elevation prior to the TOD, it always stays at the departure field elevation. Am I supposed to set this? The PM always set the destination field elevation prior to the TOD in the legacy version. Thanks again for a great addition to the NGX. Gary Merka

Hi, In the SOP1 you have to have a 3 minute cool down before you can shut down the engine.? I cant seem to understand the logic in that. Should i really stay on taxiway and wait or at the gate? when Should i start the timer? Thanks Michael Moe

Tried to give the new reboot a go for the first time today and when the gate agent walked in and asked if I wanted to load the passengers, I noticed the voice was not being picked up. The settings said voice mode was activated, I looked at the logs and it showed the system was loaded correctly, but nothing was being shown as being recognized, nothing in the log, nor any text showing up in the green bar. I figured something wasn't instantiated correctly, so I toggled the system over to button control with the intention of flipping it back to the voice to reload the voice system. I didnt see any other way to do this, but I saww that once the mode flipped, it was now locke…

I purchased fs2crew captains set and want to upgrade to reboot. Do I need to buy the captains set again as I already have Raas

I purchased and downloaded the FSX reboot; however, nothing new runs, it is still the same old version. I re-downloaded everything again and it did not change anything. Is there something else I need to change to have it begin using the reboot FS2Crew? Thanks! Joe

Suggestions (first of all very few things to complain about, near perfect) : - I think it would be good to record "2000 feet" "3000 feet" for the missed app altitude instead of Three zero zero zero. Hi Bryan, firstly i would congrate your work, it's an amazing job that you made!! Is it possible, with the next update, that the First Officer turn off the backlight with the secure procedure after a night flight ? I don't know how is it in real world, but the cab/util and IFE/pass seat is always on? or the FO or CPT shut it down with the secure procedure? Regards

When running the appr brief there is no sound file for Missed Approach at 10,000 feet. All you will hear is "Missed Appr Alt is feet" Denver has a missed approach altitude of 10,000 on the ILS 17R.

SPOILER TRIGGERS A.LDG FLOW is set to YES but FO does not start his flow after bringing spoilers in the down detent position. I have to bring up thrust first and continue taxi for a while before FO buddy wakes up. Cheers, Hendrik

I'd like to run reboot in Button mode, is there a list available to indicate when to press the main and secondary buttons other than reading each page of the manual. Just to clear it up the 'main' button also opens the secondary panel which has the config menus - you use this same button when required to perform a menu task in button mode.

As the topic says, whats the difference ? Its not like there is a explanation whats what on the fs2crew site. Do i need them both ? Can`t compare any products either. Am a little lost here.

Hi, Bryan Just bought the reboot a couple of days ago and i cant seem to get the FO to connect the GPU on his electric power up preperation. He always starts the APU. Also during the "before start procedure" FO does not switch the electric Hydraulic pump A to off regardless of the setting in the configuration. Thanks for a great productline Michael Moe

Anytime I engage rebbot in config manager and start P3Dv2.5; crashes, won't load. When I disable, it loads fine. Any ideas I am using windows 10 preview which has worked with anything I throw at it except this one lol Thanks, Bob
