The MCE control panel closes during reading of checklist but then I can't bring it back up. Is there a a fix to this? I say "show control panel" and nothing happens. Is there a way to use a hot key to bring up the control panel?

Most pilots on here are already aware of how good MCE is. Here is a short ( for me :lol: ) film with a few aircraft and "moments" with the 1st officer. Remember MCE is using hardly any of FSX VAS, so you can run all your REX etc. add ons without fear. Oh and its also multi threaded, so you may chat with ATC, tell Jean Claude to throw a switch and continue to read the checklists, all at once B) Best Regards David.

Can anyone share some experience of using MCE with the FeelThere EMB-135/145. They have been the best RJ's around in my opinion (175/195 are ok to, but not my preference). Something about their layout makes them a handful to fly alone though. None of the buttons, etc seem to be easy to push while still looking out the windows. Does MCE work well with this aircraft? I've typically been an FS2Crew person and find my biggest desire is for someone to dial speeds, headings, FD modes, etc so that I can focus on flying the PFD (+/- flight director). I like to handfly, which is why having someone to work these settings would be nice.

hi i have problem with the co-pilot actions to change course, speed, heading and altitude MCP are not actioned on the PMDG main panel he mixes all if i say 4000 altitude the course is change to 251 or 350 if i say 180 speed it is altitude change 55000

Hi I have a question regarding checklists with unsupported aircraft. Because they are not officially supported the FO keeps asking me if I'm sure that a checklist item is how I stated. If I say it's confirmed he still doesn't believe me. Is there a way to make it so he doesn't challenge me so much on some aircraft? I think it's only on the unsupported aircraft because I don't notice it on supported aircraft. Thanks Lee

NOW - You both might know just how much I appreciate and enjoy MCE for FSX. It is without a doubt, one of my 3 TOP FSX addons. It is a REMARKABLE product!!! It has worked (most of the time) very well for me. That being said - this thread taught me something I never knew before - and I have read ALL the MCE documentation multiple times. I installed the trial Sunday and went through the tutorials. Made my first flight attempts yesterday with muixed results. Today was no different. What I want to know: How "active" can the co-pilot be? He will set altimeter, raise gear, and a few other things but generally insists on following a checklist with him reciting and me affirming. What I want is to know WHO does WHAT. Some checklist items will not be completed..co-pilot Trav insists on coming back to the item. "acknowledge" "confirn" "set", etc will not do it so I just move on with "ignore". Put simply: is the primary function of MCE to have a co-pilot read checklists? Hello chaps. Here is a video I was promising myself, ever since I learned MCE supported the MD-11. Does MCE support the MD-11? Put another way, I can not find one switch on the overhead that William ( or any of the 1st officer crew) can not operate. :smile: In my humble opinion MCE have triumphed. The MD-11, as you all know, is a very complex large machine. It is not (in real life), and in my opinion should not, in a true simulation, be flown by a single pilot. Hi. In the past i had a problem with a CTD when my MD11 was airborne, but it was solved promptly by FS++. This problem returned with the new versios 2.5.3.1..i´m i the only one experiencing this problem? Best Regards

Hi Everybody, I'm a new user of MCe but so far I am having a great time learning to use it. So far I have used it with FSX ATC and everything is working fine. Usually I use PFE for my ATC but it doesn't appear that MCE is recognizing that I have PFE running. On the ATC tab it still shows it is utilizing FSX ATC. I read the Help file for using PFE and made the selections outlined there for both MCE and how PFE is setup. But when everything is up and running it still doesnt know that I am using PFE. Does anyone use PFE and can tell me the steps I need to take to make it work. How does MCE know if PFE is being used to acknowledge it in the ATC tab? Thanks for any…

Hi. I have a minor problem with MCE for the QW Avro RJ. Whatever altitude I ask the FO to set, he simply takes that figure and increases the target altitude by that amount. For example, If I am cruising at Fl 280 and I say "set altitude six thousand," instead of turning the knob to 6000 feet, he will add that amount and turn it to 34000 feet. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hello chaps. Here is a video of Multi Crew Experience and the Uiver Teams DC2. The DC2 gets a fully qualified 1st officer (Jean Claude) to assist in a flight from Zurich to Innsbruck. Although the DC2 is not an officially supported aircraft, I was able to add the complete list of DC2 checklists from the manual. (there are 10 checklists just to get to cruise) Also did a Vox Script for the 1st officer to start up each engine and an emergency engine shutdown script. Hi Gerald, I have tried all of your suggestions to no avail.I just cannot get a response from the copilot despite MCE showing that he is present.No a couple of tries he butted in saying some unconnected remark. I have tried to e mail the rcv3 dat file to [email protected] and the mail gets bounced back.Have you another address? I am getting very frustrated with MCE at present!

Well glad to say i got MCE up and running, working great, with the new Quality Wings BAE 140, thanks to Gerald. But now i have tried another plane, Feelthere ERJ 135-145 V2. I can get the FO to answer and say he's following the flow, but he's not really switching any of the switches on. Even if I tell him to turn on Battery 1, he says its turned on, but its not. Any ideas?

I just bought this program, and i'm a little disappointed. I fly the Quality Wings BAE 140. I start out at default KEYW and get 19-20 fps...now granted i by no means have a super pc...middle of the road. When I start MCE using FSX at KEYW it brings my pc to its knees....2-3 fps...unusable...Does this sound right? Am i doing or not doing something wrong?

Hi, I downloaded the trial version of MCE and did a couple of flights with the Airbus X Extended. I have to say I am a bit confused. There are a lot of possible sound commands but not in a kind of flow. So let's say I am in the cockpit of the AXE c&d. Where do I start? The Airbus X Check is not working 100% nor is it complete. I saw in a video "Electrical power up with ground power"; fine works, but where is that in the documentation? Or before you run a checklist you have to run a flow or procedure. Hi guys I'm really loving MCE a few issues I'm having though and seek some expert advice please if I may. 1. I am running flows v1.2 when he finishes pre flight procedure after APU start I seem to be getting a constant beeping in the cockpit? It's something to do with Power just not sure what. 2. When MCE start i find it goes to dialogue mode on start of fsx and I have to minimize FSX to change it to flight mode? 3. Hi Folks. Absolutely new to MCE, so still struggeling. No matter what i try, i cannot get GSX to work. When i start at the ramp, cold and dark or load the NGX tutorial 2 saved flight at EHAM before pushback (Engines not running), Simon introduces himself and tells me to give him a shout if i need anything and thats the last i here of GSX. If i ask (as per MCE docs) ground are you ready for pushback, i get my F.O. telling me something about the ground engineer. If i hit CTRL+F12, i get a list of gates from GSX. Bottom line is, no response from GSX. I have done the recommended tweaks to the ,ini file ( GSX in place of native & GSX & AES=1) Can someone po…
