Currently, scripted commands that include digits aren't supported. A few commands such as "set speed v two" will make it because FO would know the V2 to dial.

Hi, I haven't updated MCE in awhile. Do I need to uninstall previous version or just install update over current version? :Confused:

Can anyone tell me where my serial number is? I have looked in all emails from Avangate, but can't seem to find.. There is mention of it in the order conformation: "Now that you have received your unique Serial Number, you are just one step away from activation." Maybe its named something else... Maniac

I have a few problems with it, though, that I hope some of you might be able to help me with.The first is the tuning of ILS frequencies. I am looking to purchase MCE this week. My question is if I want to use MCE strictly to communicate with FSX default ATC is this possible? If so, how do i set that up? and will FSX still autotune the comm radios or will i need to do that? Thank you Rob

Sorry to bug you again with a new NGX issue, but there has been something going on that I just figured out that is really bothersome now that I understand it. First some background. I have 2 Saitek Throttle Quadrants. I have my Flap handle on the second one. Since starting to use NGX with MCE (which has been a long time), I rarely ever touch the flaps handle myself, I just call it out. The handle remains in the full UP position for the entire flight, never moving. I would notice that periodically the FO would just get totally screwed up. You call for Flaps 1 and he would give you flaps 2. You call for flaps 30 and he gives you flaps five. I couldn't figure …

Hello, I've download the demo and working with MCE support, downloaded the extend trial version. Unfortunately neither works...I do have the light version and like it so far. But, I can only use it with default aircraft. While happy with it, I would like to know that if I purchase the ultimate version, will it work with the Realair Lancair Legacy. I'm hoping someone here can offer up their experience with that plane... I have FSX with Acceleration on Windows 8.1 Any thought are appreciated.

Hi When i respond to atc, , there is a delai and sometimes atc is to fast . . Is there a way to decrease atc respond time or get MCI to transmit faster ? (ATC is very fast to cancelle IFR ) thank you

If I have the ATC window open and tune a radio manually, I find the copilot then says 'setting com1 to' and then the radio digits get entered as ATC menu selections, one after the other. For example, 122.95 negotiates the ATC menus as if I had pressed the keys 1, 2, 2, 9, 5. Obviously this messes things up and I end up with ATC thinking I am making an approach to some random nearby airport. What am I doing wrong?!

Returning to a subject I think I've brought up before, I'm having problems with the NGX pushback. Supposedly the Mechanic will take care of the Chocks automatically. With the FMC ground connection window up, viewing it, I see that he releases the chocks, but then after a second or two they come back on. Then the mechanic announces that there is a problem with the pushback. I have to then manually remove the chocks (and then of course the parking brakes) and again request he initiate pushback. Then he begins pushing back. I say stop pushback. His response "one minute" or "hang on". Then he'll eventually say "Initiating pushback" (I want him to stop the pushback). …

Having tried once again to run the demo but again being told the trial has expired i decided to go for broke and purchased the software. Having installed it in P3Dv2 on my Win7 PC i find to my disappointment that . i am in the cockpit with the engines running and i try to throttle up using my Saitek Throttle Quadrant(configured via FSUIPC) and nothing happens ... Does anyone have MCE working with the new P3D V2.1? I cant seem to get a data connection, just the splash screen waiting for copilot. Im wondering if it is a P3D compatibility problem.

Hello, I "play" around MCE from few days. Great addon ! Some questions about the A300 and MCE : 1/ from time to time the CO or FE says randomly "lnav and vnav" !? :blink: 2/ the speed command seems not working. For example if I command "three hundred on speed" or any number, I can see the command wrote on screen, the CO acknowledges with the right answer, he says "done" but there is no change ! The altitude and heading commands work normally. 3/ On the A300 there are three positions for batteries : OFF, NORM and ON. The following doesn't apply to Windows XP. Starting from version 2.5.3.8, we are giving users the option to keep UAC enabled if they wish. MCE (mce.exe) is compiled to request administrative privileges. Because Windows prevents two applications running at different privilege level from communicating, users need to ensure all simulator executables are set to run as admin. Does anyone else suffer this? I have also had the problem with previous versions & on my old pc, and it would be good to get to the cause of it. All starts well, & voice recognition is excellent. I get clearance, pushback, and co-pilot Travis is responding to pretty much 99.9%+ commands. Then, during taxi to the active, or during takeoff, I lose use of my PTT button, it just ceases to work. Then everything freezes, FSX included. But if I close the MCE program, FSX then immediately un-freezes and I can continue the flight. I can then restart MCE, and it works for a while longer before doing the same thing again. It has happened before (old pc - different mob…
