Hi, First time posting here so in advance my appologies if this is a question that has been answered elsewhere. I have recently purchased MCE and am already impressed with what it can do. My first question is how do I download new updated versions as they are released. The download page on the main site lists the updated version number but only shows a "Demo" download. My second question would be if I have to download the "Demo" version what files would I have to copy across to the new version ie Keys etc as I understand I would have to remove the old version. I have spent the day trolling through the forum and main site but couldn't find a "how to upga…

Does anyone know how many uninstall/reinstalls I should be able to get out of the new license I was issued on April 16 2014? I know ----- have been told a number of times ---- you don't have to do a complete uninstall for every new version. After so long at having little or no success, even with FS++ Team suggestions along the way, I finally did another uninstall/reinstall. Once again, my license has run out. I'm one of those PITA FSX users that has been trying to use the ATC only part of MCE to fly single engine small craft, VFR, no co-pilot, in and out of the small strips. I want the FO to call out things like V1 and Vr, and I want him to tell me things like 1000 to go or localizer captured. What I don't want is for him to monitor my flight performance according to the selected Skill Level. I have my setting at Trainee so the annoyance factor is not the reason I want to be able to disable certain types of monitoring. I want to be able to turn certain things off just to be able to free up a little more CPU, since I'm always trying to squeeze the last few cycles out of it. Yesterday I added Windows 7 to my system to duel boot with vista, which I have been running fsx and MCE on before. I've been able to transfer most of my addons over to Win 7 with no problems. So my question is, can I just move my mce installation over to Win 7 from Vista, or do I need to do a fresh install and request a new key?

Getting the Windows 7 Pro 64 default beep when shutting down FSX since installing MCE version 2.6.0.6 Reinstall does not stop the problem. MCE also not responding anywhere near as expected on attempts to talk to ATC with USB headphone/mic setup. Have had this poor ATC problem since 2011. Hi when I call for a flow, the copilot thinks I am calling for checklist. Ive done the voice training and most other commands work fine. What am I doing wrong. cant have him do any flows thx Lee

Hi ... i am running the program with the Carenado Kingair ... after asking the CP to set altitude i then need to have him set the 'alt sel' option in the AP to have the plane level off at the selected altitude ... however i am struggling to find a phrase to do this ... is there a command you can suggest?? Hello, Thank you for the great work with the CS 727. It's really a pleasure to have now a FE. Btw I noticed the "All fuel Pumps On" command (in the After Start Procedure) put "On" the first and second pump but not the third. The "All fuel Pumps Off" command works perfectly. Hi guys, Anyone know the command to switch on the Galley power in the 737-700NGX. The co-pilot seems to recognise the command but doesn't actually flick the switch. I have a feeling she might be thinking she's in the 737-800 where there are two switches (CAB/UTIL and IFE/PASS). Which raises a further question: What are the commands for these two switches too?? Hi, the MCE version which comes with the Aerosoft Airbus Extended doesn't work with the just released new version of Prepar3d v2.2 anymore. Worked perfectly fine in Prepar3d v2.1 but now I always get an appcrash of Prepar3d due to an error from fsinsider.dll. I know that the AXE is not officially supported in P3D2 but until v2.1 everything worked fine (AXE together with MCE). Are there any plans to update MCE (the version that comes with the AXE)? I love MCE and I just can't fly the bus without it anymore... So please give us an update... Thanks Carlo

Hi chaps and chapesses, If anyone is flying the Captain sim 727 and 707 there are some scripts on Avsim Library that also include the Emergency Engine Shutdown flows for fire. Now for the 707 as well as the 727. Just search "David Herky" and they are there. The 727 flows are updated to include the fuel valve shut off during the procedure. All of a sudden when I issue an instruction my very good friend Trav acknowledges but the requested event simply doesn't happen. Running the latest version for 2.2 on Win7 64-bit ... Alan P.S. Hi, I am currently reinstalling my FSX system. Before I have used MCE with VoxATC and used TTS voices so the MCE co-pilot sounds like the VoxATC co-pilot, however now I have a blank canvas, with MCE making ProFlight voice controlled and I know that MCE can talk to ProFlight, I have a few questions. 1. Is there a voice that works with MCE that is the same as a voice on ProFlight? I have used FS2Crew before but it takes away the feeling when the co-pilot changes voice when contacting ATC. 2. Is it just as simple to let tell the MCE co-pilot as saying "you have ATC"? 3. Will the MCE co-pilot change settings based on the instructions from ATC. Say if ATC say "…

"Mce could not automatically locate the active flight plan path. Would you like to provide the path manually? If you answer Yes a new dialog box will appear and let you select a flight plan manually". "Yes or no"...... if you wait a second or two fsx crash.... Fsx flight plan is all set and the flight perpetrations in the cockpit is all started than when for a menu switch i see the message above. Hi, Finally, after a long wait, William, one of our first officers will be able to handle RC4 ATC, negating the need to put up with an intruder in the cockpit. Non-MCE users are free to use it with Radar Contact if they wish. First of all my thanks to Ben for his assistance with the install. I intend to take things slow and easy selecting an airport and tooling around it getting to know my co-pilot and my choice of plane ... MCE seems to be expecting me to use a flightplan ... i am getting a 'nag-box' on screen about the prog not being able to 'find the active flight plan path' ... it eventually goes away but any way to disable this as i have no plans(pardon the pun) to graduate to flightplans just yet. On startup i am also getting a box telling me 'failed to locate Voxkey commands profile' ... is this something i should be concerned about?? Alan

Hi Guys, I'm having problems using GSX with MCE. The only thing GSX ever seems to wants to do is push me back! If i say "Ground Request Catering" it thinks I've said "Ground push straight" etc. It seems to interact with the GSX menu fine when I do actually want to push back but for all other commands it either doesn't work or thinks I've requested push back. The co-pilot commands work flawlessly so not sure its a voice issue (i've done the speech training about five times now! Fed up of it!) Another example is if I request fuel, "ground request fuel," the co-pilot seems to pick this up as a command to her but nothing happens anyway. I can request ground power …

I have a recurring issue with MCE. Although I configure a mike button on my yoke, and it recognised it in the setup it doesn't seem to recognise it when pressed to communicate with RC4. RC4 is also Activated in the setup too. I load and start RC4 before starting MCE, which I think is correct, but it still doesn't work. If I 'reset factory default' on MCE, then the first time I use MCE it might work, but then the next time I go to fly after loading everything up, which takes some time, I am frustrated to find it has stopped working again. Is there anything anyone can recommend to avoid this continuing issue as its very frustrating? Also another issue, is that I…

Should MCE users who fly online with Squawkbox/FSInn/vPilot at a joystick PTT button: set [GAMEPAD] UseWithVoxATC=1 ? set [OPTIONS] AtcMikeUseIvao=0 ? Is there a way to update the NavData files in the MCE folder ? Can't find any mention in manuals or this forum.....

I tried to resolve these findings during the last weekend but haven't really succeeded yet: Every time RC issues a frequency change I try to acknowledge quickly and contact the new entity as soon as possible. Usually I end up with the new frequency dialled in, failing to make contact and the 'old' entity nagging at my sluggishness. I configured the general options for RC as per the MCE manuals and I tested a couple of times, following closely both the RC guide in the MCE documentation and the IFR tutorial involving RC (I also tried my 'own' settings in RC ) - to no avail. Is there any decisive item I may have missed?!? Thanks!!

Just wanted to mention a couple of things which aren't part of crew simulation per se, but would help you with other add-ons management. The Voxscript engine is now capable of starting external programs. You could create a new voice command such as "start my add-ons", then supply the path to each external add-on program, and they will be fired in the sequence and pace you want. Similarly, if you often happen to forget to close some add-ons like RC4 when leaving FSX, it is possible to automatically shut them down on exit.
