Sometimes the FO goes to acknowledge something, or request something, and FSX is talking to another AI on the same freq. The communication fails. I have a request for an update in which he recognize that his communication didn't go through and then tries again unitl he is the only one talking on the radio.

As most of you are aware, we added support for PMDG 777 recently. Following that release a couple of issues have been raised and addressed since. - Emergency lights not switching properly - Eicas / Recall press also brought the EICAS Status page which wasn’t necessary - The manual for various flows has been updated. Also fixed a couple of Level-D 767 switches not operating as expected. There are minor tweaks to RC4 interfacing. Often when I acknowledge an RC4 command via MCE, normally when in flight, RC4 doesn't recognise my acknowledgement and keeps asking me to ack. Is there any way to improve RC4's acceptance? Stuart

Ben - looking at mce.ini in the latest version, noticed a few edits. I see a [VATSIM] group not in my earlier versions and a NotifyPTTstate=0. What does this do ? Previously when I wanted to switch from using RC4 to fly online using a VATSIM SB4/vPilot/PE client ATC, I hat to edit[GAMEPAD] UseWithVoxATC=1. Do I still need to do that ? Are there any other mce.ini variable changes we should know about ? Chuck

Just gettin back into flightsim been getting into mce & rc my setup is ok in both mce and rc. ME- delivery good morning airaustralia 351 is standing by for act Co pilot- are you sure you got that wright ME- what is my call sign Co pilot-your call sign is 351 I get nothing from atc tryed del key and joystick button. not getting far with this the menu ok im connected with rc all info up to date with both addons

(Apologies if this has been covered. I did look back over last 10 pages...) I've had MCE for just over a week now and it's added so much to the flight sim experience. But I do have an annoying problem when communicating with ATC. Basically, if there are no other pilots on the channel, then I have the controller's full attention and we can pass messages to each other without a problem. However, I'm often halfway through a sentence when another pilot butts in and the controller responds to him and ignores me! Similarly, the controller often starts talking to another pilot when I'm already in mid-sentence talking to him. Is this normal, please? (…

I have a high speed fiber optic internet service, but the downloading of the program takes a very long time. Is there a solution for this, such as an alternate download site? Thanks

So my MCE was expired, I bought a a key they sent it to me in an email, now what? everytime time I open up MCE it just says the demo is expired and closes? It also says to put a licence key file in the MCE folder, what does this mean? they only sent me my activation code no file or anything.

When changing airports within the Prepar3D Training Scenario Setup area, after selecting an airport (e.g. EGLL) and returning to the setup page, P3D is crashing with a fatal error. I have narrowed it down to fsinsider.dll after disabling all dlls within dll.xml and then enabling them one by one. The version of fsinsider.dll in the P3D folder is 2.6.1.61 (18/08/2014 13:51). Is anybody else suffering this error? Best regards Dennis

First post here. MCE is great, but I'm wondering if there is a way for the FO to callout when passing 10,000 feet AGL. I did a search but was not able to find anything on this topic. Thanks

Good morning I notice that Dave uses rc4 in all his videos and have decided to try rc4. I installed it successfully on 2nd pc with widefs . Of course the atc voices now come from 2nd pc. My question is if mce voice commands will still interface with rc4 on 2nd pc or will it only work if rc4 and mce are on same pc. I run fsx in full screen mode and with my crazy setup with three projectors and three monitors, having to alt tab alot causes fsx to crash thus all my efforts to use 2nd pc. Thx Lee

Hi I have successfully set up rc4 on my 2nd machine and it is activated in MCE but I get the request to provide a path to flight plans used by Radar Contact. I am so close but cannot figure out the correct path. I tried the exact path that rc4 accepted on my 2nd pc. but I get a message saying "invalid Path".Please help as the hours are ticking by thx Lee

Been trying out Pilot2Atc, and it can be made to work with MCE in two ways. One is to just use the default ATC and it will ignore one, but then you have FSXATC "chatter" going on (can turn that off as well in the FSX.cfg). Other way is to turn off ATC communications in MCE, and let Pilot2ATC handle that side of things, and have MCE handle cockpit communications. Problem is that if one does the latter then the PTT button in MCE is also ignored, so the co-pilot is always asking "what was that Cap?" when one talks to Pilot2Atc! I realise its a big task for MCE to support yet another ATC program. But since Pilot2Atc has its own speech recognition engine, it would seem…

Just went through power up using flows. All went very well. The only issue I have is I ask to show FMC, and the radio stack shows up. I ask for ND, and nothing. I ask to see MCP, and the ND shows up. One other minor issue is the first time I fired up MCP, Stewarts voice was heard. When I shut down, then re started, Jim's voice was heard. How do I get Stewart back. He is not listed as one of my voice packs. I may be wrong, but the far left gage is what shows up when I call for MCP. That gage may not be the ND. AS you can see, I'm still learning. Thanks. S. Hi when fsx starts, I see the red message on the top of the screen that says MCE detecting new aircraft settings and then the screen seems to sTART FLICKERING BETWEEN THE MCE control panel and fsx and then fsx exits and shuts down to desk top. Im wondering if having the user interface competing with the full screen mode is causing the problem. I checked the box for auto minimize to task bar but the user interface still appeared on the desk top. this did not always happen. only recently. Any help is much appreciated. thx Lee

Hi Is it possible to start mce before fsx since I run fsx in full screen mode and with my set up ,using the alt tab option tends to cause fsx to crash when trying to alt tab back into it after mce is started thx Lee

Hi, I've made an upgrade to my PC and reinstalled windows. This time changed to win8.1. I'm using P3DV2.2 and i installed MCE latest version but as soon i start the sim i get an unexpected error. Of course if i remove the fsinsider.dll from dll.xml the sim starts normal. I tried the previous version also. Thanks, Menelaos

Hi all Can the external GPU that comes with the Majestic Q400 be controlled with MCE? I can control the APU with MCE but would prefer to get it to set external power rather than fire up the APU. I've looked through the Q400 commands list but can't find it. is this something that MCE can't control or am I just looking in the wrong place? Thanks.

FS++, As you might recall, I have suffered from horrible Vox Script lags, for as long as I've had MCE. I recently changed some things around and noticed that my microphone was set at 100% input level. I don't know if this was always the cause of the voxscript lags, but in this case, all that spurious background noise it was picking up, especially on the noisy Q400 and NGX, was causing MCE to flail, and the scripts were lagging badly. A retune of the microphone to 25% magically rectified the issue. Inevitably the Voxscripts lags always return.
