I was contemplating trying Pro Flight Emulator Delux, as an alternative to RC4, but have a couple of questions. 1. Does anyone have experience of using PFE with MCE voice commands. Does it use the same phraseology as with RC4, e.g.when requesting and acknowledging. 2. Can the MCE FO take over COMMS the same as William and Lorna can do with RC4? Any advice from those using PFE with MCE would be appreciated. Thanks, Stuart

Hi, I read that scripts and flows can be edited in MCE but I'm not 100% sure what file or files to do it to or how. I mainly just want the FO to not shutoff the Hi-intensity lights on his after takeoff flow because I don't believe that to be a SOP in the MD-11. Since those lights are it's strobe lights and those lights must be on all times when in the air is my understanding correct?

is there a step by step guide to editing flows?. I want to edit some of the pmdg 777 flows, but don't want to mess them, so a guide would be very helpful. Thanks

MCE works in V3 if you place fsinsider.dll and the folder "MCE ddls" into the root directory of Prepar3d V3. In the dll.xml of V3 the MCE entry must be present. So far so good. Any information when the official installer will be available?

On a 777 at what point/altitude would the PF call for the after take off flow and check list ? The reason I ask is on the pmdg 777, the after takeoff low switches off the landing lights, but I understand the landing lights are to remain on under 10,000 feet.

Just installed into Prepar 3d V3 with no issue so far .Not sure if will work if V2 installed as well.

Hi .... first point is the non-response is not total i.e. when i bring up the ATC menu and press a key to contact the controller the co-pilot acknowledges that .... but ignores any requests I make for aircraft settings in cockpit ... have checked my mike working properly and it appears to be .... something i notice when i bring up the speech recognition window is the only language option is 'English UK' ... should i not be running 'English US'??? ... Steps to reproduce: 1. Load FSX 2. Start a flight at an airport gate with a supported custom aircraft (eg Simcheck A300 or a PMDG aircraft) 3. Wait for the aircraft initialization to finish 4. Launch MCE Before its initialization (show its light-blue window) is completed a messagebox (with an OK button) is displayed in the center of the screen saying: "Multi Crew Experience Application Intergrity Violation. Hi , I've had MCE for a year now and love it. I primarily tpfly the pmdg 777-300er. I have a " how to " question. I want the FO to start the clock when I enter the runway. I would like the FO to start the clock as part of the runway entry procedure. How can I insert this task for the FO ?. Thanks Hari

Hi All, I am seeing this issue since last couple of days, I have not installed or changed anything in my setup. I have pmdg 777-300 ER with MCE. When I request "start engine one" , FO responds starting, sets starter switch , I wait for awhile he does not flick the fuel run switch, I have to manually flick it to get fuel flow and the engine starts. Same thing happens for engine two as well. But after that he thinks engines are not running. If I ask for climb thrust he says engines are not running. This just started happening recently, now sure what I have done. Any ideas ?. Thanks Harishanker

Why does f o spell out check list

F++ team, Any ideas why the ground interaction would just stop working? After I reset all MCE settings to "factory default," the ground interaction feature work; however, on the very next flight, and every subsequent flight, I can't seem to contact ground for push back. I'm not using any third-party utilities(eg. AES or GSX), just vanilla FSX. Dog-gone it, I just read about this two days ago and can't find that post. My FO MCE is responding to me talking to ATC. I need to "mute myself" to the FO until I need him. How can this be done? Sorry, I know the answer's out there but can't find it. Tkx a bunch!! Doug

I know that William and Lorna can take over RC4 COMMS by requesting "your COMMS", but would it be possible for them to take over the plane itself? In RC4 'Otto' can take over the plane setting heading and altitude requests, especially useful while in cruise if one wants to take a 'comfort' break for a few minutes. Is this something which William & Lorna can/could do by requesting "your plane"? Just a thought? Stuart

My MCE First Officer seems to be confused over the runway designations at Manchester (EGCC) and Stansted (EGSS). I'm using PMDG747 in FSX with RC4/MCE and UK2000 scenery with latest Nav Data update. Starting at EGCC, RC4 ATC allocates 23R for take off and I can enter this in the FMC. 23R is also shown painted on the runway in the scenery, however my FO ignores my "Active Runway 23R" call but will accept (and repeat) 24R, which I believe is what it used to be a few years ago. Similarly, on approaching EGSS, RW22 is allocated by RC4 ATC, I can enter it into the FMC and it's painted on the runway. However, my FO only accepts "Landing Runway 23", which is …

Howdy from west TN! My previous installations of MCE used aside GSX gave me PAX boarding/un-boarding sounds. I just installed MCE again for my full trainer and am getting no sounds. Stewart/Jim are there acknowledging the boarding request but there's no follow-on PAX sounds. Are these sounds an MCE product or GSX? I'm not even sure where to start digging for the solution. Further, whichever source the sounds come from, how does it know how many PAX there are for a flight? I assume it's important since GSX offers "Timing" options. Tkx in advance!! Doug

Flying the MJQ400 today with FO William and RC4, everything was fine until after I handed RC4 COMMS over to William, and then he didn't respond to any further PROCEDURE or CHECKLIST command from Descent to After landing nor if I commanded "my COMMS". Any thoughts?

Hey all! I may have my out-to-lunch "Jim - Ground Services Co-Ord" issue resolved but another's cropped up. When I ask Jim to he talks to GSX (refueling, catering etc) but GSX doesn't respond. I'm watching the GSX menu. Whereas on my other sim(s) his request would select an appropriate line-item, but now there's no reaction at all. Any ideas? Sure would appreciate it!! Tkx in advance... After loading X Plane and MCE, Mce says, "checking to see changes to aircraft. Please wait." Well you wait and wait, and computer freezes.

Hi! v2468. All's working great except I can't select F/E under Commands. The button's not highlighted so not selectable. What am I missing? Tkx! Doug
