Using MCE 2.6.67. Problem with PMDG 747x, haven't tried any other aircraft. Problem is repeatable, namely co pilot failing to dial correct altitude when commanded. For example commanding altitude 22,000 feet using the words "altitude twenty two thousand" always results in co pilot setting altitude to 2200 despite command clearly being ecognized by red text. If I use the words " flight level two two zero or "altitude two two thousand" co pilot sets correct altitude. Thanks.

Hi .. Not sure if this has been covered before... I cannot hear the flight attendant or purser the volume is very low. How can we increase the volume so I can hear the responses. Also the voxkey volume is very very low, I have configured voxkey actions and on execution the responses is very low, can hardly hear over the sim's volume. This is quite annoying... can it be fixed ? Thanks

Hello, Many addons come with the proper procedures however although MCE follows closely these procedures its not exactly right. For example, for the 757, the the proper before taxi flow does not include Arming VNav and Lnav yet it does in MCE. These things are usually armed after takeoff. There are few little problems here and there for other aircraft too. I'm aware we can adjust these procedures to our liking, but is there any reason why the proper procedures are not exactly followed by MCE? It would be great if they followed the procedures by the book. I'd imagine the developer could have just looked at these documents and just copied the right procedures and …

  4. I'm doing a checklist where an item says to set RPM to "1200". The CP always reads this out as 100 and always only accepts 100 as the correct response. Of course using "twelve hundred" instead of "1200" works but just curious about this limitation. gb. (Win10, P3DV3.2)

EADT released X737 version 5.0 today. which will likely be the most widely used commercial aircraft on the X-Plane platform. Please advise if MCE has plans to support X737, Thanks. Dave Bernstein

Hello All, How do I control what doors the flight attendant would open / close when I request them... I mainly fly the pmdg 777 - 300 er. I find sometimes, that the flight attendant would open doors that I don't need, eg. When Jetway connected would open 4L and 5L, or when I request close, would close 2L, and then open 4L and 5L. I want the flight attendant to only open/close 2L if Jetway is connected, and open/close 2L and 5L when no Jetway, stairs are connected. Can this be achieved ?. Many thanks I also wanted to add that I have GSX installed and use it inalong with MCE.

I have recently purchased MCE, after being impressed by the demo, but have some questions which I can't find answers to in the manual. 1. Does MCE interface with ground for push back, without GSX/ASE. If one assigns a 'mechanic' voice can he be asked for push back and default fsx push back is actioned? 2. I notice in the various documents, that there are commands for 'cabin crew' e.g. "close doors" etc. Is there a default built in voice for the purser, and how does one communicate with her/him? 3. Is there a full list of services / commands for both ground mechanic and pursor? For example, I would like to be able to ask "Cabin crew Doors to automatic & cr…

At the moment I'm using MCE with default aircraft and non-fully supported aircraft like a2a's PA28. If I manually turn off the engine or avionics (while on the ground) the CP will offen spit the dummy and start complaining about a long list of system/instrument failures. This can happen even at the end of a shut down checklist. I see you can avoid this by turning off callouts abd monitoring but I really want these on. Thanks, gb.

  12. I recently purchased MCE X-Plane which states it has support for Flight Factor / VMAX 767-300. I launch X-Plane with FF/VMAX 767-300ER aircraft, select MCE X-Plane from plugins menu. MCE starts up then I get the following on screen message: {"MCE} Looking for changes to current aircraft", the screen freezes and I am forced to exit X-Plane. I appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. I am operating with Windows 8.1. X-Plane version 10.45. MCE X-plane 1.2.6.0 Thanks, Dave Bernstein

I've been using MCE with PF3 pretty regularly. In most cases, the interface seems to run well. However, there are a few cases where I cannot seem to initiate the correct MCE words to obtain the correct keyboard response for PF3. For instance, I'm on an IFR flight and have been given an ILS approach. Approach clears me to the approach and asks me to contact Tower, once I'm established on ILS final. After acknowledging the command, I switch to the correct Tower frequency. When I am established on the ILS approach, I say Tower, (my call sign), established ILS. However, nothing happens. I say this several times and finally give up and simply press the correct key.…

Hi to all, I'm new to MCE and I'd like use MCE together with PF3 which is now supported but I don't like pushing the default DEL key to communicate with ATC via MCE. I don't like using Joystick buttons for ATC either. But MCE doesn't seem to offer a way to change the default DEL key. My del DEL is already in use for other Add-ons! I would rather like to use the SPACEBAR instead for ATC communications. In the .ini file that MCE placed in my FSX folder there's a VatSimPTT and also an ATCPTT entry. I've tried setting ATCPTT=32 but to no avail. Is anybody out there who can explain to me how I can switch the PTT Key from DEL to SPACEBAR? Any help appreciated. Tha…

It would be really useful if FS++ could use a pinned topic on this forum to list changes released in each version, and any specific requirement for updating. That way, not only users would be aware of when an update is released, through 'following' the forum posts, but also whether the changes are beneficial for them to make the upgrade straight away. Thanks, Stuart

Hi everyone, Just to say only been using MCE under a week and struggling with a few commands, I am using PF3 as my ATC. I have been using the "suggested work flow with MCE.pdf" to get me used to the way MCE works. My last two flighs I have had a few hiccups, I have flown EGKK to EGFF, not that really matters but on approach to EGFF the approach controller gives me approach clearance for ILS 12 and to contact tower when established. So I confirm I am switching frequency and swap to 125.00 for tower. This is where it goes wrong, I am checking the paperwork and don't see what commands I need to use when initially contacting tower. I have tried the usual "tower, …

Hi everyone, Just to clarify I'm not a MCE owner just yet, I'm just waiting to try the demo with PF3 before purchasing. My question is, how do you recieve updates for MCE? Is the a button on a control panel to click or do you need to down load the updates manually when you find ones available? I'm just trying to find out how MCE works, I don't surpose there's a user manual out there that I could down load and look at, I didn't see one on the website. Regards Rob

Evening all I purchased MCE today, and I have to say loving it, but blowing my mind as well I am just on a flight and trying to set the ILS frequency on nav1, the frequency is input buy my FObbut seems to add a extra 0 to it which cancels out the frequency! It's like he's tuning a comm frequency that has six digits and the nav frequency only had five. And help and suggestions as to what that might be? Cheers Rob
