Hi, everytime after GSX boarding is finished and Dieter says "It's time for me to go" my FSX freezes and I have to close with the taskmanager, so no error report in the eventmanager. This did not happen before MCE installed. Win7/64, FSX SP2, FSL Airbus, GSX. Peter

Greetings folks. Please make sure you read the Avsim news, MCE announcement. http://www.avsim.com/index.php/ Who should update... Hi, just startet with MCE and was only focussing on the co-pilot. I am flying the FSL Bus. In ChkLists are various checklist files for the A320, which one get's applied? In addition if I go to "Aircraft specific Commands" there is another A320 checklist/flow. I am a bit puzzeled. I worked through a checklist "FsLabs_A320_check" which worked fine up to "Before Takeoff to the line"; when I challenged "Before Take off below the line" the co-pilot always came back with the "t/o to the line". The co-pilot cannot adjust altitude/fl. Select altitude to 5000, co-pilot understands and finally comes with set or okay, but nothing changed on the FCU. Thanks Peter

  4. Hello everyone, I just got into flightsim, and am one of a small number of blind pilots who take advantage of voice-control addons. While Multicrew Experience does have rudimentary blind pilot support, there is one critical thing missing: landing support. At the moment, I am using, and recommending to other blind pilots Its your Plane (IYP) http://www.itsyourplane.com for this kind of thing. IYP, while still being maintained by Robert, is not being supported anymore by way of new aircrafts, etc. MCE is, however. I guess the main thing that MCE doesn't want to do is automate too much. IYP pretty much does that, and we don't mind it. I know one particular blind pilot …

So after doing some trial and error and digging through my DLL one by one i ruled out everything except for MCE. I love this program and it takes a tremendous amount of work off me, amazing aprogram, that being said i would really like to get to the bottom of this and get it fixed. I uninstalled and reinstalled MCE with no luck, still crashes P3D.

What is the proper procedure for exiting MCE? If I end a flight and then close X-Plane 11, MCE stays open in the task bar. That's fine, since it means, in theory, I don't have to load it again for the next flight. However, whenever I leave MCE running like this, it never works properly on the next flight. It recognizes and responds to my voice just fine, but the commands do not translate into actions on the plane. For example, if I say, "Flaps 5," the co-pilot says "Roger," or whatever, but nothing actually happens. I have tried with several planes with the same result. I can get around this problem by forcing an exit of MCE after each flight (right clicking on …

Happy New Year to fellow MCE Captains! As the topic title states, is anyone using PF3, with P3dv3.4 HF2? Over the holidays, I thought I would have a go at PF3 (Demo). Since, as we know, MCE also supports PF3. Unfortunately my (latest and greatest) install of P3d appears to have not made friends with PF3? Is anyone using PF3 successfully with HF2? My latest HF2 works with everything, except REX WX Advantage weather radar(....they are working on a HF), and PF3? Cheers David.

I am trying to get the hang of P2atc and find it works well with MCE, which I have used for many years, but I can not get a PTT button to work reliably with both programs. I use a Thrustmaster Warthog and I have tried to allocate 3 of the joystick buttons in turn to stop the copilot from listening while I talk to ATC. P2atc has a menu option for this as does MCE. However it only works sometimes, ie the MCE copilot will ignore a number of commands when the PTT button is pressed, which are then acknowledged by the P2atc contoller, but then the MCE copilot will suddenly start answering to other commands given while the PTT button is pressed. Very frustrating! It…

Really amazed at how useful voxkey is and how simple too. I have one problem that I can't get it to recognise the windows key in windows 10 when I am programming a new key sequence. I need it to send the key sequence <win><up arrow>. It recognises all the other keys, just not the windows key which is between ctrl and alt on my keyboard. When I press that key, voxkey programming does not recognise it and does nothing. thanks for any help in advance, have a happy christmas 2016

Hi All, I just bought MCE, and am thus far quite impressed over all. I am running into a slight problem when trying to slew to a runway, however. I am constantly told that the airport, a standard FSX one, was not found in the database, and thus that slewing is impossible. I'm not sure what database is meant here. I have makerunways.exe from Radar Contact among other sources, is this what was intended? Note that otherwise everything seems to work more or less well, though the syntax and grammar is taking a bit of getting used to. THanks for any help!

I know I heared that MCE was at some point going to be abe to let the FO handle the ATC coms with PF3, like I believe it does with RC4. I just wanted to inquire as to were in the ever growing to do and update list this might be? I fully appreciate that you guys have more pressing things to deal with, I just wanted to get a rough idea that's all Cheers Rob

I am trying to fly the intro flight for MCE/Radar Contact. I don't have any problems contacting RC initially but once we get going, I cannot acknowledge their instructions except by using the RC4 menu. MCE just doesn't get through. Has anyone got a work-around to get it to work as it should?

To all crew members. MCE V2.6.8.7 has been released. Who should upgrade? Anyone who uses MCE with GSX, PF3 ATC, flies Majestic Q400 or is on an older version than V2.6.8.0 should upgrade. Download link: http://www.multicrewxp.com/Downloads.html There will be a major update next month, with support for FsLabs A320 on the way. Happy flying

Team, I continue to struggle with executing my "takeoff" and "cleanup" Vox scripts. Specifically, the copilot is ignoring some of the inputs by stating the following: "real professionals don't fiddle..." "it's not appropriate" The Vox scripts execute fine, if the aircraft is not moving; thus, I assume this is a safety feature to prevent accidental inputs during critical fligh phases (e.g. takeoff roll). However, when flying online, it's not always possible to come to a complete stop before the runway threshold to execute the script in its entirety. Therefore, would it be possible to add an option to ignore this safety feature while the aircraft is one the …

I just added a new aircraft to my hanger, the Carenado Dornier 228. MCE doesn't seem to like interacting with it, do I need to do a reset to factory settings again so it starts picking things up? Rob

Just a quick question on purser interaction. I could have sworn I saw a list of things you can say to the crew, but for the life of me can't find anything. I'm mainly still getting my preflight, taxi and landing phases perfected, but I never seem to get the purser stuff right. I just wanted to peruse what's on the list of interactions:) Thanks in advance

Hello I just purchased MCE to run with Prepar3d v3.4.9 under Windows 7. All loaded well, however, after going through the voice test, the software requests the location of the P3D.exe and that this be set as administrator. As seen in the forum I have disabled UAC as P3D and MCE are not installed in C drive. The P3D exe is already set to admin but the process continues to open up the P3D folder screen two or three times. After exiting and restarting, a "Could not start splash screen" popup appears. Closing that and starting MCE, a pop states "application already running" and to use the kill process if no MCE window or tray icon. kind regards Laurie

Hi, I used MCE extensively earlier this year before I received my Rift. I now use the Rift exclusively for P3D. I'm ready to install MCE for the first time in a new computer, and know that calibrating the mic is an important first step. Has anyone successfully calibrated the mic built into the Rift, blind as one is while wearing it? I'd like to make the best start possible with MCE. I can easily calibrate the mic and do the training with my Corsair headphones as before, but I'm afraid the results would not be good when I transfer to the Rift to fly. I had to be diligent with training before, probably because of my pronounced Scots accent. Can I ask if V 2.6.…
